Welcome back to Germany! It’s been a while! 🇩🇪 🏰
My beloved home country is home to countless castles and many of them have made their way onto this platform, but have you ever seen this one? Comment below if you know the name! ✌🏻
The week of sharing old projects alongside with before and afters is ending soon. I wanted to include one new project that showcases more what I do to my single shots nowadays when editing. This is an image I took in Bali in 2018 and never touched it until yesterday. It’s a really famous spot and I wish I could’ve taken this image with another camera than the GH5 I had at the time because even at f/16 the sunstar looked horrible compared to my current canon lenses. With my single shots I remove A LOT of parts to make the image smoother and I darken all areas I don’t want the eye to focus on but this one waa challenging due to the huge sunstar which takes way too much focus. See the before and adter by swiping left😊 more projects at @visualsofjuliuscourses
I got the idea for this concept after walking around in Petra for the whole day with my friends. We saw the main treasury featured in Indiana Jones movies and experienced the lantern show during the night. -
My thought process was ”how could I create something that would stand out from all the main treasury lantern concepts” and then the idea of lanterns in front of the monastery hit me. I took a 4 shot panorama (the before slide is just a single shot) to get the ultrawide look, I added the lanterns from the main treasury, changed the sky and created some highlights. I always like to create something that wouldn’t be possible/wouldn’t happen in real life😊
