Opening the door reveals carbon custom-made entry guards with “GT2 RS Sonderwunsch” lettering. “Sonderwunsch”, literally translating to “special wishes”, is the historical name for the program now known as Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur.
The interior features a two-tone full leather upholstery in ’Weiss’ and ’Agate Grey’, complemented by contrasting stitching in ’Agate Grey’ and ’Cream’, everything executed with exquisite craftsmanship. Agate Grey leather has been used to finish the beltline that includes the top of the dashboard, door uppers and rear quarter uppers. The door armrests, door handles and the side parts of the center armrest are also covered in Agate Grey leather. Weiss leather embellishes the lower dashboard, doors and countless details, including the air vent slats, sun visors, the aluminum PDK gear selector, the steering column casing, central floor tunnel and the rear bench, the leather-edged floor mats, and even the front luggage compartment! The full bucket seats also in Weiss leather sports Pepita ‘houndstooth’ pattern and piping in Agate Grey. The “WeissachRS” logo stitched in contrasting Agate Grey emblazon the headrests and a “Sonderwunsch” logo graces the cover of the storage compartment lid. The striking steering wheel in Weiss leather with the top section in Agate leather has a Weiss 12 o'clock marker and stitching in Agate Grey. The instrument dial surround is also finished in Weiss leather, together with the instrument dials in white they create a contrast with the upper dashboard.
Complementing the exterior theme, the belt passages on the seats are painted in Urban Bamboo as well as the vehicle key with the key wallet in Weiss leather. The door opening loops in the door panels and the seat belts are colored black, and there are pedals and footrest made from forged and anodized aluminum.
This pearlescent 991, built by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, is one of the most customized Porsche 911 models ever. The car was recently flown from Germany to Atlanta where it was delivered at the Porsche Experience Center. The one-off piece is already considered the most expensive factory-built 911 in North America.
Construction of the unique vehicle took approximately two years. It all started with sketches. To visualize the ideas the owner had for his sports car the @ns2_media rendering specialists were contracted. In accordance with his special wishes, they provided the exterior and interior renderings of the future build. The exterior and interior elements were coordinated with the dedicated exclusive department teams’ experts both in Zuffenhausen and in Atlanta @pecatl. The painting process, which costs a bit more than the price of a standard model, took about 8 weeks to complete. The car was then assembled by specialists at the Exclusive Manufaktur workshop in Zuffenhausen.
Provided by Porsche for the first time on the GT2 RS is absolutely stunning, the ultra-exclusive Chromaflair Urban Bamboo handcrafted paintwork: a seafoam-grey blend that has an iridescent effect so the color takes on other shades depending on how the light hits it and the angle in which you look at it from. The Chromaflair paint job takes approximately nine coats of paint and three clear coats to achieve the entire Chromaflair effect.
The exterior is enhanced with the Weissach Package, black-framed LED headlights and magnesium wheels in satin-gloss White Gold Metallic. The shade is repeated not only in the spokes of the wheels but also in the rear wing uprights, as well as model designations on the doors and the rear bumper.
The design of this very special car went much further than defining the exterior colors. The interior has been completely tailored to the taste of the owner. The unique two-tone leather upholstery was made with the contrasting stitching closely defined by his individual requirements.
