ماساژ تراپی الکل
هر سلول ماهیچه ای یک نیروگاه مینیاتوری است که انرژی برای حرکت ایجاد می کند و به سوخت و اکسیژن دقیق احتیاج دارد تا به درستی کار کند.

ماساژ با الکل و تراپی با آن در سالهای اخیر نیز توانسته شیوه درمانی جدیدی ارائه دهد و برای اسبهای مسابقه که در زانو بین دو اتصال استخوان تحتانی(هوک) مشکلاتی از قبیل آرتروز و التهاب که باعث لنگش و کاهش عملکرد میشود ومعمولاً با کورتیزون و اسید هیالورونیک در مفصل فقط درد و التهاب کاهش میافت ، درمان جدید با استفاده از اتیل الکل به بین مفاصل تزریق انفعالات شیمیایی غضروف موجود در مفصل از بین میروند و اجازه میدهد مفصل بدون جراحی رشد کرده و از آنکیلوز جلوگیری شود.

بیمار به علت شکستگی کندیل مندیبل(مفصل فک پایین) و عدم مراجعه جهت درمان دچار انکیلوز مفصل شده بود و همانطور که در فیلم مشاهده می کنید دهان بیمار باز نمی شد و تغذیه بیمار مشکل شده بود که تحت جراحی کندیلکتومی دوطرفه قرار گرفت و در پایان جراحی ۳ سانتیمتر دهان بیمار باز شد.

I’m not in a good place right now: I feel weird bec I’ve been taking antibiotics & ibuprofen the last 2 weeks for back pain + wisdom tooth wound which is infected & heals super slow due to diabetes. I fudged up my ankle again & now I’m walking weird so my left hip is in great pain again. And I cut my tongue somehow so it hurts to eat. And my eyes are being little shits of course. Ahhhhh, sometimes things just conspire against you all at once. Although, in this midst I am grateful for: 1) finally setting a rheumatologist app in 2 weeks, an eye doctor app in December and a follow up w my new diabetes doctor in February. The good news she gave me is that my iron and B12 levels are way up & I’m not deficient anymore (thank god 4 #carnivorediet ), but I am deficient in folic acid and biotin and Vitamin D3 - so i am supposed to take supplements until the next app in 3 months to see if my heart palpitations stop & levels rise. I’m going to try to supplement naturally tho, with lots of liver. 2) seeing my good friend last Wednesday who I’ve neglected but who persisted anyway & I’m grateful for such understanding people. 3) grateful for flying home Sunday & continuing my routine & eating #carnivore & biking in the early morning & getting my shit together! There’s not much for me to do here in my hometown anymore... I have to finish my chapter of diagnosis w healing in the same place it began.

⁉️ ¿Sabes que es la Anquilosis dental? .
📍Los dientes 🦷 se mantienen unidos al hueso por unas “cuerditas” en la raíz, conocidas como “ligamento periodontal”. En la anquilosis, este ligamento desaparece y ocurre una unión directa de la raíz con el hueso (es decir, el diente está “pegado” al hueso y no se mueve). Conforme la mandíbula del niño crece, la muela anquilosada se va quedando en su misma posición, “sumergida” ⤵️ en comparación con los otros dientes (como en la foto).

⁉️ ¿Por qué ocurre?
▶️ Aún no se conoce exactamente el mecanismo de la anquilosis dental, pero como siempre, parece que la genética 🧬 juega un rol importante. Lo que sí se sabe es que ocurre con más frecuencia en muelas de leche inferiores y en dientes que han sufrido un golpe 🥊

⁉️ ¿Cuál es el tratamiento?
▶️ Depende. Si la anquilosis es leve (o sea, la muela de leche está “hundida” sólo unos milímetros), se hace un seguimiento para controlar que caiga sola. Por el contrario, si la muela anquilosada está muuuuy abajo (a nivel de la encía) o si el diente permanente (que se encuentra por debajo) tiene dificultades para salir, esa muela se debe extraer y se coloca un mantenedor de espacio.

#consejoschis ✅ Si a tu hijo ya le han salido todas sus muelas y notas que alguna de ellas se encuentra un “escalón más bajo” que las otras, saca cita con su Odontopediatra para descartar que se trate de una anquilosis dental. .

John William "Bud" Rogan died on September 12, 1905. He is one of 17 known people in medical #history to reach a height of 8 feet (2.44 m) or more and also the 2nd tallest person ever recorded, after #RobertWadlow .
Biography
Rogan, the son of William Rogan, a former slave, was born in Sumner County, #Tennessee , between 1865 and 1868. He was the 4th of 12 children. The identity of his genetic mother remains unknown. Rogan began to grow very rapidly at the age of 13, leading to ankylosis. Already accustomed to walking only with the aid of crutches, by 1882, he could not stand or walk at all. By 1899, he had grown to a height of 8 ft 6 in (2.59 m) and often appeared in newspapers, referred to as the "Negro giant". He got around on a goat cart he had made for himself and was always the center of attention, often noted for his deep voice and playful attitude.
Although he could not work, he made a living by selling portraits and postcards of himself at the train station and, as noted in a 1897 article in the Kansas City Journal, had had a number of his drawings published.
He refused all offers to join the #carnival and side shows. Shortly before he developed #ankylosis , Rogan was 8 feet 6 inches (2.59 m) tall and weighed 300 lbs. The disease hindered and eventually ended his ability to walk, eventually prompting the use of the #goat cart.
Rogan's hands measured 11 inches (28 cm) in length and his feet measured 13 inches (33 cm) in length. He continued to grow until his death; his exact height was not measured until after his death. At that time he measured 8 ft 9 in (2.67 m) tall, but weighed only 175 pounds (79 kg), making him the tallest person of #African descent, and the second tallest person ever recorded, exceeded only by Robert Wadlow.
Rogan died in 1905 from complications of his disease. His body was buried in the family yard under solid concrete to prevent anyone from exhuming and examining his body.

Poorly managed trauma. 11 year F. She had an avulsion accident in May of 2019 and replantation was done about a few hours after. A month later the patient presented to my office as the ‘watch and wait’ method was starting to develop symptoms for this patient. We took a scan (patient movement). Notice the severe external resorption. Both teeth (central and lateral) were necrotic. 2.5 months of CaOH. Patient is now symptom free. The #11 has an ankylotic percussion sound. How would you monitor this case now? Decoronation? ☠️dental trauma and it's sequences ☠️
It can cause a variety of injuries,categorized to: tooth fractures(crown,root or both),periodontal tissue (concussion,subluxation,luxation,avulsion) and injures to supporting bone.
After a while even pulp inflamation and necrosis may lead to pulpoperiapical lesions,internal and external root resorption and ankylosis.
In first image you can see root fractures of Rt A,Lt A and B with crown displacement of Lt A,B.
In second image you can see subluxation that is shown with widening of apical PDL of Lt central
And at the end you can see external root resorption and ankylosis of Rt central with history of trauma ☠️تروما به دندان و عواقب آن☠️
با طیف گسترده ای از اسیبها ممکن است مواجه شویم که می توان به سه دسته تقسیمشان کرد:شکستگی دندان(تاج،ریشه یا هردو)اسیب به بافتهای پرودنتال(کانکاژن،ساب لوکسیشن،لوکسیشن و اوالژن)و اسیب به استخوان ساپورت کننده.با گذشت زمان التهاب و نکروز پالپ دندان و التهاب بافتهای پریودنتال می تواند منجر به ضایعات پالپ و پری اپیکال،تحلیل داخلی و خارجی ریشه و حتی انکیلوزیس شود.
در گرافی اول شکستکی ریشه دندانهای Aسمت راست وAوBسمت چپ همراه با جابجایی شدید تاجهای AوBسمت چپ را مشاهده می کنید
در گرافی دوم ساب لوکسیشن را بصورت گشادی PDLدر اپکس دندان سمترال سمت چپ می بیسد
ودراخر تحلیل خارجی ریشه و انکیلوز در دندان سنترال سمت راست که سابقه تروما دارد را مشاهده می کنید

Another controversial case! The patient wanted to save the tooth so of course I did! Instead of doing an extraction and placing an implant, after studying the CT-scan we decided do go ahead with an unusual treatment plan: Re-Root canal therapy: full protocol (hypochlorite and EDTA activation, etc) but sealing the canal with a fiberglass post!! and self-adhesive resin cement instead of GP!!!, in order to reinforce the root. Then I proceeded with an apical microsurgery to remove the fractured root fragment with a special incision bevelled 5mm far from the gum margin to avoid gum retraction. Retrograde apical root obturation with bioceramic putty cement in the same session and placement of a collagen membrane, to allow bone regeneration without soft tissue invasion. It was splinted with wire for just 2 weeks to avoid ankylosis.
At the 3 months follow up the bone has regenerated, there was no pain, no TTP and normal mobility like the adjacent teeth. Now pending for a fully ceramic crown in 3 months. Here we present a case of a patient who reported at Chandan Hospital with a chief complaint of inability to open mouth, restricted jaw movement and poor aesthetics. He had undergone bilateral TMJ Surgery 15 years back which showed initial positive results but after 1 month his mouth opening reduced, which affected his routine lifestyle. Here at Chandan, he was referred to the oral & maxillofacial surgery department under the guidance of Dr. Saurabh Gupta. Thorough clinical & radiographic examination revealed the case of Right TMJ Ankylosis. He was suggested for the surgery. The initial surgery was accomplished under general anesthesia for the Interpositional Gap Arthroplasty of Right TMJ & Coronoidectomy of Left TMJ Surgery. After the successful surgery, the patient’s mouth opening has increased significantly to 37mm. The patient is very happy with the outcome of the surgery.

#toothfacts : "Ankylosis of the tooth" It is a condition characterized by absence of periodontal membrane in a small area or the whole of the root surface. They are more common in deciduous molars and the tooth affected appears submerged or infraocclusion. This can occur as a result of congenital absence of the permanent successor, failure of resorption of the deciduous tooth, trauma to the tooth or as a result of infection. Ankylosed deciduous teeth do not get resorbed and therefore either prevent the permanent teeth from erupting or deflect them to erupt in abnormal locations. These teeth should be diagnosed and surgically removed at an appropriate time to permit the permanent teeth to erupt. In case of absence of the underlying permanent tooth a decision should be made as to extract the tooth or buildup the vertical dimension of the tooth and retain it. This decision may be based on the health of the tooth and it's periodontal condition.
