New look Blue - living and working in a township of 800 permanent people and then having to cope with increasing visitor numbers is a major problem for all coastal towns. No permanent accommodation for workers means it’s hard to source staff for the busy summer holidays - we were faced with either closing our doors or finding a solution - our solution was to trim down service to takeaway food and drinks only - so far it is working, with more fresh food variety, less stress on the staff and management, we have halved our water usage and we are actively looking for a solution to getting the compostable waste recycled.
We are lucky we are situated on a beautiful Headland where picnic possibilities are just across the road. Please feel free to bring your own containers and drink cups.

YES! I have stayed active all through out but you can never, I repeat, NEVER, “outwork” nutrition.
One of the biggest reasons WHY I get my workout done each day is because my energy is high due to how I am fueling my body.

Finally, brought Luna in and gave her a mini pamper. Mini because she was too wet to groom so could only brush her neck and belly💧 Either way she enjoyed coming in to have a fuss over😊
I took this selfie with Ave this morning & couldn’t help but think back to our mornings a few years ago. They’re so different now & it makes me so thankful for our life today. I will never forget-
Waking her up at 5 in the morning crying & fighting me bc she was so exhausted! 😭
Her crying typically led to me crying bc not only was I rushing to get her ready but I had to rush to get myself ready as well & make it to work in time (hah 😂)
Rushing her to daycare & running in the door & up the steps to drop her off hoping she wouldn’t cry! 🤞🏼
Leaving the daycare & then rushing to work at the before & after school program, almost always late at that point 😅
Leaving work & going to my multiple classes & field sites to meet all of my hours (the gas I went through was insane) 💸
Going back to work at the after school program for a few hours 👩🏼🏫
Then typically leaving again for a night class that ran from 6-9 📚
Running through a drive thru to have some sort of dinner (healthy, right) 🍟
Getting home to Avery just in time to bathe her & tuck her into bed. 🌚
Then it was time for homework, showering & watching Grey’s bc that was the ONE thing I did for me... 👵🏻
Just to wake up & do it all over again. ♻️
It was exhausting, but I had no other choice. 🤷🏼♀️
TODAY I am thankful for my flexible income that allows our days to look completely different 🙌🏼
I’m thankful for her being able to wake up when her body is ready 😊
I’m thankful for our drive together to school in the daylight as well as our drive home... while it’s STILL light out ☀️
I am thankful to be able to do homework with her, eat dinner with her, hear all about her day & get her ready for bed with time to spare 🍽
All of those early mornings & late nights & everything in between were so worth it, because of what we have now- I appreciate it so much more 🙏🏼

MY STRESS FORMULA MAY NOT WORK FOR YOU?
Many times a client signs up. But at home, their partner just follows along for the ride. Hoping they see some changes as well. I do remember once a client carried literally all her body fat around her belly button. She had a history of worrying; easily irritated; hot flashes and craaazy food cravings.
I put her on serenagen by Metagenics. A great product for her. Along with modifying her meals and other issues she was able to drop body fat in that stomach area.
Her husband took it as well. Nothing changed at all. Why? He wasn't a wired guy. He was always tired. Would fall asleep at parties, in the middle of conversations too.

How are you? Gosh it’s mid November already! How? Where did the time fly! I’ve been pretty quiet on here for ... let’s look at my last post. 5 months!! Jezzz ok I better keep up better. 🙈How on earth do people post everyday? Yesterday I was out for work for 16 hours. I just about have time to eat, any one totally agree with me here? Anyway! I can tell you my summer up til now has been MANIC!!!! I have not stopped and I’m so grateful.
Freelancing for me is EXACTLY what I needed in my life! Plus friends weddings it’s all been dreamy. I have stacks of photos on my phone (still not posted I am RUBBISH at this game) It’s all flowers, flowers, flowers, and a bit of food of course.
I have met the most talented, fun to work with, hard work and dedicated yet some (extremely nutty) florists all across London and Hertfordshire it’s been incredible.
As I am contracted to some wonderful places I am not even allowed to post all the beautiful work. It makes me SAD!! I wish I could share more with you all.
But honestly the things you see and don’t see behind closed doors in London... Recently we had Engage19.. Over summer .. VIP birthdays, weddings, private houses, i have had my floristry fingers working on them and proud to be apart of them.
Again sadly I cant post ... maybe a close up or two! Let’s see.
For the last week I have been covered in glitter I am on my 3rd Xmas install already. Xmas has officially started.

Meet Abigail Van Meter! Abigail has worked part time at Pendleton Pens since 2016. She has trained many dogs in basic household obedience, AKC obedience, rally, and agility. Many of the dogs she has worked with have obtained their Canine Good Citizen Awards. She has been an active member and officer of her local 4H Dog Club for nine years and has received the Bill Brader Public Speaking Award for her top scoring 4H Presentation about grooming and showing her English Setter Juniper. She has volunteered time to walk dogs for senior citizens. She is currently preparing to complete high school and has already bred and raised her own litter of English Setter puppies and assisted in the breeding and raising of multiple litters. Abigail LOVES caring for your furry family members and she can’t wait to see you during your next visit!
