People say that what we’re all seeking is a meaning for life. I don’t think that’s what we’re really seeking. I think that what we’re seeking is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonances with our own innermost being and reality, so that we actually feel the rapture of being alive.
For the last five months I’ve been diligently working on a photography contract with Sobeys. It’s far from over, but today feels like a massive victory that deserves recognition. Huge shoutout to @donovanmyburgh and @dylan_swart; I couldn’t be doing this without you. #You ’reonlyasstrongasyourteam 💪🏻🇿🇦
I haven’t done much backcountry in my snowboard career but it was refreshing to get out and explore some of what Cape Breton has to offer. We got lucky with waist deep powder and untouched lines. I see more backcountry in my future 👀

This is what it looks like to walk through public transportation. I can’t tell you how many fucking times I’ve hit my head on these signs.
I don’t have much to say, it’s a photo of my favorite Kid @kidcudi . Side note he is wearing a Tupac shirt! Last thing is this is my most lucrative photo ever totaling me $1000 dollars in sales.... #Fujifred

"i have always felt that my heart was made of iron, a material that could be bent but never broken however, as i have grown older my once iron heart has turned into glass and there is caution tape strung across my heart in every direction saying “caution do not break”, this is a warning not for lovers but for myself i break my own heart far too often and i am tired of being a glass greenhouse of insecurities."

Can you believe that there was a time where I hated looking at myself. It was right after I had London. Postpartum depression wasn’t out in the open like it is today so honestly I didn’t know what was wrong with me!! Out of my girlfriends I was the first one to have a baby so I couldn’t talk to them about what I was going through and my relationship with my mother is a little odd. Therefore, it was just me, my thoughts and my sweet baby, London Victoria. I remember my Husband asking me what was wrong, but unfortunately I couldn’t formulate my words. I just wanted him to shut the door behind him and leave me to myself. ——-
I’m so happy that times have changed and there are multiple outlets for women to plug themselves into when dealing with any sort of depression. ——-
Have you ever dealt with postpartum depression? If so, how did you cope with it? 📷: @spaceplaceandgracephoto .

It’s January 27, so that means it’s 127 Film Day! These are a few frames from the last roll of 127 film that I shot. The film was a bit defective, but it gives it a certain charm, I think.
One of the reasons I like shooting analog is precisely because it can be unpredictable. You never really know if you’re going to get a good image, but you always have the process that went into making it and the memories you made while shooting.
That said, I’m carrying my Yashica 44A with a roll of Kodacolor expired in 1973 today. We’ll see how/if they turn out.

I remember when Ryan and I were engaged, a few people asked me “seriously, Christine- how are you going to handle Ryan’s dance moves during your wedding reception? I mean...he’s such a good dancer, aren’t you worried he’ll outshine you on the dance floor?” 😂 I had to admit, Ryans dance moves were (and are) still pretty spectacular, to the point of slight jealousy, but I wasn’t worried. I’m not that cray! Haha! He did end up dancing so hard during our reception that he lost some of the feeling in his big toe to this day. Even the night before our wedding, we were listening to music while folding our wedding programs, and he twisted his his knee doing the wobble 😂 Seriously though, watching this dance performance ☝️the other night makes me want to take a couples dance class. So beautiful! How about y’all, anyone here love to dance?!
