“i am going to make everything around me beautiful. and that will be my life.” -
i love this quote so much. i feel like sometimes, it’s a lot easier to tell yourself that you can’t change your life rather than accepting the fact that in reality, it’s actually all in your hands! at the end of the day, you are the one who determines the kind of life you will live. choose people who uplift you instead of people who constantly bring you down. do things that make you happy. i can’t even tell you how many times i am not happy doing what i’m doing, and i HATE that i ever make myself feel that way. i should always be happy, every day, for the rest of my life and so should you! -
life is too short to surround yourself with anything other than beautiful things. if you just sit around waiting for your life to get better, you will be waiting a long time and that’s something i’ve learned. i hope we all find the strength to make our lives beautiful 💕

Enchanted Rose Now Open at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
You can step into a tale as old as time when they enter the new Enchanted Rose lounge at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
Inspired by the magic and romance of Disney’s popular live-action movie, “Beauty and the Beast,” the lounge features four unique gathering spaces inspired by Belle and the Beast with elegance around every corner. Above the main bar, Guests will take in the sights of a gorgeous chandelier inspired by Belle’s flowing golden ball gown, while the library showcases classical baroque designs and French furnishings. A garden room takes its inspiration from the enchanted forest surrounding the castle, and an outdoor patio evokes the romance of Beast’s garden terrace.

Duck Breast at Napa Rose- such a pretty plate! Also, the creamy mushroom soup was really rich but especially delicious- they had lots of great #glutenfree options including bringing some GF bread at the beginning of the meal. I’m not sure I’ll be rushing to dine here again, the lighting was very bright for late in the evening and they don’t do an AP discount like most other Disney dining, but I’m so glad to have tried it out. #naparose#disneydining#grandcalifornian#glutenfreedisney#disneyglutenfree

These are the droids they’ve been looking for..... A Long Time Ago, in Galaxy’s Edge, far, far, away...
Three younglings chose to build their own droid at Droid Depot.
These droids are not cheap (would be great if they cleaned), also be forewarned that they suck batteries as fast as my kids can eat a bowl of salsa at the Mexican restaurant. 🤣

Let’s talk about what bags are best for Disney park days with your family. If you’re visiting the park with littles in tow, chances are you’re going to be carrying a ton of extra items like spare clothes, diapers, wipes, bottles, snacks, etc. It’s a lot to carry, so here are some of my tips:
- Don’t overpack. Bags that are too heavy will wear you out quickly especially since you’ll be walking much more than you’re used to.
- Link a form of payment to your magic band so you don’t have to carry your wallet or dig it out of your bag every time you make a purchase. - Fit everything into one large backpack if possible. You’ll want your hands free to hold food, kids, strollers, and for selfies. Hands-free bags are definitely the way to go.
- Make sure your backpack’s side pockets are big enough to hold a bottle of water or your reusable cup. This may seem like a tiny detail, but it makes a HUGE difference.
- If you have small items you’ll be using frequently like sunglasses, hand sanitizer, chap stick, etc. Use a fanny pack! Items in a fanny pack will be much safer on rides than items in your pockets.
- Upon entering the park, you’ll have to go through security. They’ll ask you to open your bag and will also check the bottom of your stroller. To speed up the process, have your bag open and ready to go by the time it’s your turn in line. And make sure you don’t have any banned items!
- I would recommend eating in the parks if possible (it’s part of the experience), but you can bring your own food and into the parks if needed. You can even bring a cooler, just no loose ice, glass containers, or plastic straws (in Animal Kingdom). Coolers can be no larger than 24”x15”
- If you do find yourself needing to bring too many items into the park to carry, lockers are available to rent.
These are my top tips! Obviously if you don’t need to bring a ton of stuff into the park, try to get by without carrying a bag at all. This will get you into the park faster because you won’t have to wait in line for security to check your bag.
Contact me if you’re planning a trip, there’s so many other tips and tricks I can provide specific to your needs.
🔥 Remember Catastrophe Canyon from the Backlot Tour at Disney’s Hollywood Studios? The ride still exists at the Walt Disney Studios Park in Disneyland Paris, and the crew at @attractions360 was great enough to go film an updated video of this classic scene. Which scene (past or present) do you consider most classic from Disney‘s Hollywood Studios (including when it was still called Disney-MGM Studios)? ⛽️
Do your kids play sports? I had the opportunity to tour ESPN Wide World of Sports (and pretend to be an ESPN reporter 😉) and it was amazing! ✨
This impressive complex @waltdisneyworld is the home of many sports tournaments and broadcasts. ✨
Here are a couple of things that stuck out to me as a sports mom:
🏀 The size of this complex is massive and it has hosted at least 70 different sports 🏈 Disney wants to make sure each athlete feels special! Games are recorded, edited and broadcast on large screens throughout the property, so you might be able to see your child up on the big screen!
⚾️ Sports photographers are available to capture your athlete on camera, so you can enjoy the game!
What sports do your kids play? Let me know in the comments 👇
🇯🇵🏰🇨🇳 Today @peggdoddisney and I were supposed to be on our way to visit our last two parks, Hong Kong and Shanghai DL, and finally, join the Six Castle Club. But due to the ongoing protests in Hong Kong, we decided to cancel that part of our trip. Instead, we will now be going to the Tokyo Disney Resort. 🥳🙌🏼 Then we will be off to Shanghai Disneyland, where it will be both of our first time. This trip is to celebrate Heather’s 10 year anniversary of being sober!! 🥳💞 We have been planning this forever and it’s finally happening! 🎉
I have posted from Tokyo Disney a lot and feel like most of you probably have seen the same things over and over. But I also know there are some who haven’t seen much from there. So, I’d love to know what you’d like to see during this trip. They are celebrating Halloween and it’s one of my favorite times of the year to visit. 🎃👻 They allow you to dress up every day through Halloween, so I’ll definitely be posting some of the amazing costumes bc they are on a whole other level out there. But please let me know what you’d like to see while we are there.
Then we will be off to Shanghai and I’d also love to know what you’d like to see from there as well. If you’ve been before, please leave any tips or things we must see and eat! We will do our best to show you how we experience our first time there!!
So stay tuned for lots of Tokyo and Shanghai spam coming these next ten days...and many days after!! 😆✌🏼❤️ Now I’m off to bed bc I’ve got to get up soon and fly to my favorite place in the world!! ✌️🏼🇯🇵✈️

👻 My favorite part of Mickey’s Boo to You Parade has to be the grave diggers. Something about them has always been so captivating to me! What’s your favorite part of this parade? ⚰️
