We all have days where it's hard to BELIEVE in ourselves, and remember to LOVE OURSELVES.

Saying you’re stressed and anxious is one thing, but taking action to improve your mental state is another.
It’s a hard talk you have to have with yourself allowing other people in to help in one way or another. But one that is necessary to navigate your way through this crazy thing called life.
One thing that came up in some therapy sessions is that I LOVE the beach. Being at the waters edge allows me to breath deep and fully. Which if you have anxious tendencies you know this can be hard to do.
So I’ve been making an effort to get out and sit in the sun listening to ocean sounds and visualising myself sitting on the beach. And it has been helping me to clear my thoughts and provide more focus on my tasks for the day. I would highly recommend this for anyone else needing more focus or just stress relief in their life. I can’t tell you it will be easy. I can’t tell you that it’s a quick fix. I can’t tell you that you will get results.
But I can tell you that you are capable. I can tell you that if you want it bad enough, you will get the results you want. I can tell you that this can change your life.
And most of all, I can tell you that you are worth it.
Stop putting your health on hold. Don’t wait to make a New Years resolution. Start now. There are 45 days left in the year. Don’t waste them.

To anyone that says they “don’t have the time” to workout or eat healthy...
👉🏻 so taking 10 minutes to steam veggies, grab some rotisserie chicken & a tortilla takes longer than sitting at the drive-thru? 🤔 👉🏻 so taking an hour on a Sunday to plan your meals is less convenient than deciding which place to pick up food? 🤔 👉🏻 so watching Netflix, scrolling social media, or wasting time on YouTube videos is better than doing a quick workout? 🤔 .
Those tiny decisions add up and before you know it, you’re wasting time at a doctor’s office because you chose “convenience” over your health. And I don’t know about you, but I AIN’T GOT TIME FOR THAT! ✌🏻 .
Let’s talk about self care for a moment. Self care is not selfish. Self care is exactly that, taking care of yourself. To me self care isn’t waiting until you’re on the verge of falling apart to run a hot bath and have 15 minutes to regather - don’t get me wrong, baths are an excellent way to relax, but why do we feel the need to wait until we’re on the edge before doing so?
To me, it’s taking some intentional time each day, to focus on myself, to support my body in whatever way it needs. This could be having a hot coffee in peace once Patrick comes home, rolling a calming or emotionally supportive blend on my wrists, or sitting on my butt watching Netflix while Nora naps instead of getting to the 101 jobs on my to do list.
We don’t have to do anything luxurious or have a pamper session (because honestly, what busy mumma has the time or energy for that?) it’s about taking intentional time to focus on yourself, your mental and physical health, each and everyday, and there is nothing selfish about that.

Kod kuće sam od malena navikla da jedem kvalitetnu i lepo spremljenu hranu(hvala mama).🙌🏻 Tad sam shvatila da ja ne mogu da se hranim tako i da moram da nađem drugi način. Da li sam razmažena ili se samo ne zadovoljavam prosečnim, ne znam. 🤷🏼♀️ Svakako, to mi je bio motiv i pokretač da obećam sebi da ću uvek planirati svoje obroke unapred. To obećanje ispunjavam već 3 godine i više ni ne razmišljam, postalo mi je rutina.🏃🏼♀️
Trening i sport su od uvek na neki način bili deo mog života(hvala tata). 🙌🏻
Ono što hoću da kažem je da je u početku potrebno malo više truda, dok se ne stekne neka navika. Za početak je važno da dovoljno jako želite promenu.
Važno je i da budete uporni i istrajni. Vremenom sve legne na svoje mesto i kao nagradu dobijete svoj fizički izgled, zadovoljstvo, samopouzdanje, disciplinu za ceo život.
Smatram da je motivacija polazna osnova i prolazna stvar, a da je disciplina ono što nam daje snagu da izguramo i kad nam je teško. 🏋🏼♀️ Šta vi mislite o tome? Kad ste vi odlučili da menjate navike? Ako niste, šta čekate? 😊

I have so much to be thankful for in my life. .
I cannot explain to anyone how much training for races has changed my life and my outlook on life. I look forward to going out and pushing myself everyday. I look forward to my alone time and being in my own head clearing the negative. I look forward to working thru and on my weakness and trust me I have lots. I have cried on this journey, I have smiled on this journey, I have literally broke myself on this journey. I have come to grips with alot of the dark on this journey and appreciate the days that I get to be me 100% no other thing or journey has given me what I have given myself. .
Today was one of my last long workout days before #CarolinaBeastweekend Hills, Hills, Hills oh and more hills. I already have that excitement, worry and butterflies I typically get then of course the refresh the weather every 5 minutes 🤣🤣
The work is done now time to put it all to the test next weekend for my longest and hardest of the year🤘🏃♀️🤘🏃♀️.

Been working on perfecting my acai bowl this past week, and I’ve finally gotten a good combo.
I’ve never been much of a recipe person. I usually use them as more of a guideline, wing it, and hope for the best.
Here is what I’ve been using.
To make the base, blend one frozen acai package, frozen bananas, and frozen strawberries with a small amount of apple juice. I’ve also gotten creative and used a variety of different frozen fruit combos.
Then top with your favorite fruits and toppings. This one includes raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, granola, coconut flakes, and a Nutella drizzle.

My past decisions have gone something like this. ❌I’ve spent 200$ on a Powerwheels car that my kids drove maybe 4 times in the past year and now is covered in the shed for the winter. ❌ I used to spend 10$ on a pack of cigarettes a day which cost 70$ a week 280$ a month. I smelled Terrible and felt worse. ❌I would go to Dunkin Donuts every day, spending at least 4$ if I was just getting a coffee, throw in the bagel with cream cheese I was at about 10$ a day. Almost 400$ a week!! ❌I would spend 50$ on shoes my kids would wear a couple times then grow out of, and could have cared less if I spent 20$ ❌ I have clicked “Check out” in a shopping cart online more times than I would like to admit in times I needed to release stress. 💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛 ʙᴏᴛᴛᴏᴍ ʟɪɴᴇ ɪs, ɪ ᴀʟᴡᴀʏs said ɪ ɴᴇᴠᴇʀ ʜᴀᴅ ᴍᴏɴᴇʏ ʙᴜᴛ ᴡʜᴇɴ ɪ ᴛʀᴜʟʏ ʟᴏᴏᴋ ʙᴀᴄᴋ, ɪ ᴄᴏᴜʟᴅ ʜᴀᴠᴇ ʜᴀᴅ so ᴍᴜᴄʜ ᴍᴏʀᴇ ɪf ᴏɴʟʏ ɪ ᴋɴᴇᴡ ᴡʜᴀᴛ ɪ ᴋɴᴇᴡ ɴᴏᴡ 💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛 In June of 2018 I was going through that cycle. I had no money, living paycheck to paycheck.
But I also knew that how I was living, I was always going to have “no money” there would never be an opportune time to make a change, I just had to do it.
So I put 175$ on a maxed out credit card and signed up for a health and fitness program. Little did I know a year and a half later. I would still be committed. I would have made that money back ten fold. All of those bad habits and money wasted I no longer had. My kids didn’t care about those big fancy things, having a mother that can keep up with them and be fully present in their lives means so much more!
And now, the price is even cheaper. To change you entire life and change your bad habits you only have to pay 140$! 💥It blows my mind. 💥

This morning I woke up bursting with a smile on my face. This is the most surreal feeling right now, I can’t contain my smile.
Because when you start seeing your dreams and manifestations become a reality, it’s just so wild to see this stuff actually happening.
I owe it all to my mindset coach. She’s helped me so much with not only believing in myself but believing that what I want can be and will be a reality.
And I can’t stop smiling ear to ear right now because I’m actually seeing exact things that I have dreamt of and have visualized and have manifested for the past five or six months coming into play and it is the wildest experience ever.
I almost have to pinch myself because it doesn’t feel real, I feel like I’m living in a magical world right now and it doesn’t feel like reality.
I’ve never felt so limitless in my life, I’ve never been so excited in my life and I’ve never been so happy!
For the first time I feel like I am in the right place at the right time and so overwhelmed with gratitude and humbled with all the universe is continuing to shower me with.
I guess what I’m trying to say is, when you want something, GO FOR IT WHOLEHEARTEDLY.
I just know I could have never gotten to where I am today without my coach!

1 year ago I decided to make a change for myself. I knew that I was living a life that was NOT a true reflection of my potential. So I said yes to an opportunity that has significantly improved who I am. Over the past year I have learned that I SHOULD believe in myself, and I SHOULD love myself. I want to present a DIFFERENT & BETTER physique next time.
Since the day I stepped off stage I knew what I wanted to improve. Ofcourse we always want to improve the ”total packade”, but other than that I wanted to work on my back & ”width” aswell as my legs & thighs. Now this is a stage pic compared to my shape right now.. so it may not be a fair comparison. But I really hope that I have brought my physique to the ”next level” next time I step on stage 🙈🙌🏼 And not only by the look but also by the posing and ”total package” 😉

A common question I get is “how do you balance it all?” You know... it was NEVER easy at first. It was tough finding the motivation & energy needing to slaaayyyyy the gym after a long A$$ day of classes. There would be days where I would walk to the gym and leave because I had this guilt that I had HW or studying to do😡 BUT, it all came down to how bad I wanted it🤷🏽♀️ How bad did I want to accomplish my goals. How bad did I want to lose those 10 pounds? How bad did I want to put on muscle?? Truth is, I began to use the gym as a therapy! A chance to clear my head from all stress and to allow me to focus on self-improvement! Knowing that I can make any desired self-improvements ALONG with education.... I began looking @ the gym with personal therapeutic sessions!! Sessions that allowed me to gain MORE of an understand of who I was💓💓
As y’all may know... school can get super stressful and overwhelming📚HOWEVER, we must ensure that we are taking breaks to focus on OURSELVES to keep clear visions of our truest passions in life. Set about 1 hour (either before or after classes) towards your #fitlife . Whatever the need may be... Use it as a relief from your stress and overwhelming periods (school). Use it to focus on keeping a close relationships with your internal peace!! Again, it’s you above all💜💜
