🦢🦢🦢 Bird #3 is a group of geese in silhouette. 🦢🦢🦢 I enjoyed the last ocean background on bird #2 so much I decided to keep with the theme. Also, I had way too much blue paint on my palette at one point and pre-painted a blue background on one of my mini canvases. After that I just started mapping my shapes out with a paint pen and did some details with a smaller brush. All the while trying to capture the geese's awkward, flighty motions as they make their way across the ocean. A quick little flock.
So I know I posted something the other day on leucism but this happened earlier, this is a leucistic Canada goose. Geese fly in those “V” shaped pattern for two reasons: 1. It is more efficient to help with wind resistance 2. It allows for better communication within the gang #animals#geese#conservation#canadagoose#canada
I miss my goose, Ellis, very much.
I was just scrolling through my photos to find something semi-good and I found this treasure.
Ellis is doing very well, and he seems to really like it out on his own.
I’m still heartbroken over having to rehome him, it’s the first time we’ve ever rejoined a pet, because we believe that a pet is a commitment, but the circumstances were different.
I want to see him again, and visit, but I feel like that might make things bad for him, if he sees me again.
I was going to write some more about him, but now I’m having a hard time seeing the screen- so have some hashtags-
