This is @JeremySayers who is gearing up for the 2019 NPC Nationals, which will be be his first national show. The 20-year-old will compete there in Classic Physique and he is less than two weeks out from the contest.
Just a regular dude, chasing some abnormal as fuck dreams! 😎
Don’t consider myself ‘special’, single parent background, was poor as hell growing up in a neighbourhood where all the other kids seemed to have everything.
Went to school, got kicked out of school.
Went to college, hated it, got shit grades as spent all my time in the gym.
Left the education system not having a fucking clue, resulted in me being 18 & ‘jobless’ for a couple months (fantastic right?)
Worked 2 crappy jobs which made me feel undervalued and worthless.
I had a passion, something I knew I could be great at, but was told by everyone ‘there’s no money or career in doing that’
I continued doing the same shit, shit I hated, dat in day out to ‘survive’
I decided to stop following the direction society is designed to make you go.
And decided to put everything I had into doing what I loved and woke up wanting to do...
And now that it is what I do.
Still a regular dude, but just decided to take an irregular risk and go all in on it.
It’s important to realise that the only thing which is stopping you from doing exactly what you want to do every single day, for the rest of your life, is yourself.

I choose this...
I choose Slim and Active to keep me healthy and give me the energy to get through my workout.
Weightlifting, because my physical health is important and so is my mental health and it helps. I sit in front of a computer day in and day out and this is where I reset. #plexusgetactive
Happy freaking Monday♥️ Moms understand when your child won’t let you be great and go to the gym we have to implement some at home workouts. Yes being a stay at home mom can be overwhelming but this is the fun part.
One of the exercises I did today I used Keith (my son) as weight to hit some squats (which by the way he ways 37lbs😂)I couldn’t get all of them but I did at least 20 before he tried to grab the ceiling fan😂

"Fit at 50!!"
I turned 50 years old about a month ago!! While I’m still wrapping my head around that number, and I do have some aches and pains, I believe I am possibly in the best shape I have been since high school!
Back then, teenage me wasn’t a big runner. My sport of choice from 3rd grade on was basketball, and when I decided to give running a shot: I ran a couple years of track, and one year of cross country!
In 2003 I decided to run my first 5k. I trained all summer and even though it was a tough race, it was different than running as a kid; I was hooked! So much so that I ran my first 1/2 marathon in the fall of 2004 and my first marathon in the spring of 2005.
In 2010 I introduced a little bit of cross training through home workouts (including weight training) into my plan so as to avoid injury and to see if it helped my time. Since Jan of this year (2019) I dedicated myself to being consistent and have felt the results of my cross-training! I’ve seen fewer injuries, increased stamina, and my time has improved! On Sunday, Oct 20 just days after my 50th birthday, I ran my 44th marathon, checking off my 26th state, and one of the highlights of that marathon is that I ran it 24 seconds faster than the marathon I ran on my 40th birthday.
As I’ve progressed, people have asked me for tips or plans, so it’s sort of morphed into coaching people who like me, want to age in a healthy way. Whether you want to become a runner like I have, or cross train with me, I’m happy to share what I’m learning and what I use. I’m looking into gathering some people together – from beginners to weekend warriors like I was, to start a plan. I’m excited about how trying something new has turned into a passion for me! Who would have guessed? Certainly not teenage me!
It just goes to show that we are never too old to try something new, or try something again! Even if we weren’t great at it! Look for me to continue to share more about my training to run a marathon in as many states as I can get to – going for all 50!! If you’d like to follow along on my journey, or even join me – I’m happy you’re here! Please drop a note below so we can get to know one another!

15 mins to create this tasty low carb recipe 🍤. Low carb doesn’t have to mean low plants or little flavor 🔥. Love this yummy recipe by the talented @livevitae . More info below:
Add more seafood to your diet can be great as items like shrimp contain essential fatty acids, iodine and selenium. Shrimp is also low in fat and a high complete protein source.
Seafood is easily digested. This is a great low carb option for those who prefer this style of eating.
Zoodles are also one of the quickest ways to cook vegetables and is one of the reasons I love this method.
This was all cooked in one pan on a wok. Cooked under 15 minutes. Double up the recipe to serve more.
1 tbsp extra olive oil or avocado oil
1 large courgette / zucchini
Large handful of kale or other fibrous green
1 plum tomato
175 grams wild tiger prawns (I do not consume farmed fish! Usually contaminated and are fed antibiotics! Save money and buy frozen wild shrimp)
1. Preheat pan to medium add 1/2 tbsp of the oil.
2. Add the spiralised courgette and sauté for 5 mins until softened.
3. Add the kale and continue until softened.
4. Remove the veggies from pan.
5. Add the other 1/2 tbsp oil. Add the prawns and cook until cooked through approx 4 mins.
6. Remove from heat.
7. Prep the tomato + avocado
8. plate up and enjoy.

I love traveling but it’s always great coming back home 👊🏻🔥.
