Whistler’s coziest cabins are located right by Spa Scandinave. Riverside resort also have camp grounds & offer a woodsy alternative within 5 minutes drive to Whistler village. Plus it’s a bonus to be so close to Spa Scandinave with hot pools, relaxation rooms & massage services
This walkway winds its way along a cliff, 300ft above Capilano River. While the views are insane, what’s even crazier is that the granite walls of the cliff (directly to my right) are 160,000,000 years old 🤯
You can’t go to Canada without picking up a butter tart or two. ♥️
The first time I tried a butter tart was when I was in Canada about five years ago and I had never heard of them and had no idea they were a traditional Canadian pastry, but I still remember how different they were from anything I had ever tasted and I fell in love. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This trip I did my research and found The Queen’s Tarts downtown and knew I had to make it there. I tried their classic and the maple walnut flavors which were both just perfect. I could eat the classic over and over again but they also had so many different flavors to choose from..maple whiskey bacon, creme brûlée, blueberry. Seriously so many. Stopping here next time I’m in the area to try the cinnamon raisin. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Have you ever tried a Canadian butter tart?

A little bit of snow to remind you to head outside and enjoy the nice weather while you can. It's going to be +1 this weekend people! This is not a drill!
Anyone else love the snow as much as I do? I remember it was freezing when I took this picture, but at least I wasn't still on the ice (I would've broken my phone 😬)! This turned out to be my all time favourite shot, because not only did I capture tons of memories in this picture, it also reminded me not to give up on your hopes and dreams (I was trying to learn to skate again, but let's just say I slipped enough times to break my back 😅)
It's clean up day, how much snow did you get yesterday? I've gotten way too much, and I'm ready to ship you some hehe.
It's not too bad; I had seen much worst the last few years or when I lived in my hometown of Moncton.
Plan's today? It's going to be quiet, but if you read this all the way. I'm hosting a Photowalk tomorrow at 9 am, leave a comment if you're interested in joining, we start at 9 am sharp, at the Ottawa sign in the ByWard Market.
The walk is with the Indian Student Society for a reading week activity; You can join us. It's a two-hour walk, stopping at some of my favourite locations, learning new angles.
See you tomorrow
Having fun with my LensBall and the greatest Sunset.
Throwback to when it was cold outside and I was rushing to get this shot before the sun went down and the bubble popped.
As happy as I am when I get shots like this, I hope it stays warm outside 🤞🏼 #dbbloomphotography
A McChicken with some extra summer sauce please

Reminiscing on this past weekend. 💫
Spending the weekend relaxing in a cozy cabin without wifi or cell service was truly refereshing.
I can honestly say that this getaway is at the top of my list — for so many reasons.
Thank you @whitelakecabins for making this trip so memorable. 🤍
When temps drop well below 0°C, giant icicles take shape at the base of the falls, and at night, the lighting illuminates them just right. This was shot during a -30°C night from a few years ago.

I don’t know what we had more fun taking pictures of, The wicked sunrise at Abraham Lake or the fiercest Adventure Kitten you have ever seen George. Little George is such a good model, she is a true pleasure to work with!
