Aurora - Northern lights in Arctic Circle!
I had Aurora sighting in my bucket list since I learned about it in my childhood.
I planned for northern lights in Iceland and Norway 6 years ago, but I couldn't travel at that time.
Finally after driving up to Arctic Circle on one the most dangerous road - The Dalton Highway, I had Aurora sighting for all 3 nights I stayed there 😇, even while I was inside flight landing in Fairbanks, AK 😀

Turn around, every now and then I fall apart
And I need you now tonight
And I need you more than ever
And if you only hold me tight
We'll be holding on forever
And we'll only be making it right
Cause we'll never be wrong

At what cost are we willing to follow Jesus?
Paul, after being beaten, arrested and bound by chains, still tried to address the crowd and preach the gospel. This account in Acts has greatly convicted me. If I was just beaten, ridiculed, and about to be put in prison, what would I do? Honestly, I would probably be so focused on my physical pain, terrified of prison and full of sorrow that these people hated me so much. The Holy Spirit warned Paul that he would be met with suffering and prison. Yet he went.
“And now I am going to Jerusalem, drawn there irresistibly by the Holy Spirit, not knowing what awaits me, except that the Holy Spirit has told me in city after city that jail and suffering lie ahead.” Acts 20:22-23
Then he says, “But my life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus — the work of telling others the Good News about God’s wonderful kindness and love." Acts 20:24
This is a man who went from severely persecuting the Christians to being severely persecuted as a Christian. All because of an encounter with Jesus.
When Paul is about to be taken inside the jail, he asks the commander, “Please, let me talk to these people.” He wanted to address the very people who beat him and wanted him killed. What LOVE. What love for God to do His will at ANY cost. What love for people. Paul so desperately wanted to spare them from a life without Jesus and an eternity separated from God.
The will of the Father might be difficult at times. It might be uncomfortable and painful. It might involve suffering. Are we okay with this? Are we willing to trust that His plan is for a greater good that involves salvation for souls, reaching broken people, shining His light on those who are blind? Sometimes the path to do this is difficult, but if it’s for His Kingdom and His glory, our hearts must be willing. Holy Spirit, give us the boldness.
