Hey yooooo! 👋
My kids have been on a oatmeal craze lately. My step mom got me some maple syrup straight from Canada🍁 itself and boyyyyy is it a perfect sweetener for oatmeal. Today I added the maple syrup and some Clif brand blueberry granola and talk about YUM 🤤🤤! QUESTION: do you make your oatmeal with water or with non dairy milk!?
Tom made some Live Edge Maple Charcuterie/Gathering/Serving Boards in a variety of sizes. Substantial in size and weight. Each one unique. I plan on using mine as a centerpiece when not in use. $50 DM for pickup/shipping.

This is my end grain serving table that I built back in September 2019. This was my first dabbling in end grain projects and it was an amazing experience.
First off, like most builds, it started off in my head and originally the table was supposed to be all end grain, meaning the side and the bottom would also be end grain. Secondly, I wanted to add a hinge and strut to the top so it could fold down when not in use.
As you can see, the end result is never exactly what you set out to build. And that’s not me saying I’m unhappy with the build, it’s quite the opposite. I’m thrilled with this!
It’s this time of year - when it’s -5 degrees outside especially - that we start getting excited to get back out with the bees. For now all we can do is build frames and hive bodies, make plans and dream of warmer weather and healthy bees 📷: @calebkenna

Anyone else grow up hating Brussels Sprouts...because they were only served boiled? Thankfully the sprout world has evolved and includes these Roasted Balsamic, Chilli & Maple Glazed Brussels Sprouts with Pecans. Definitely not your childhood sprouts!. Recipe and photo: @nourishingalex. #MeatlessMonday
- around 620g Brussels Sprouts, halved
- a couple handfuls pecans
- a Handful dried cranberries
- 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp garlic granules - 1/2 tsp dried chilli flakes (how ever much you like)
- olive oil, for cooking
- salt & pepper
1. Preheat the oven to 200C/180C fan/400F/gas mark. Line a large baking tray with non stick baking parchment.
2. Add your sliced sprouts to the lined baking tray then drizzle with a little olive oil, rub the oil into the sprouts using your hands, then season with salt and pepper.
3. Roast in the oven for 10 mins until slightly soft.
4. Meanwhile make the glaze by adding the balsamic vinegar, maple syrup, garlic granules chilli flakes to a small bowl of jug, then whisk everything together until combined.
5. Take out the sprouts, add the pecans & dried cranberries, then drizzle with the balsamic glaze.
6. Place back into the oven and cook for another 5-10 minutes, until the sprouts are roasted but soft. Enjoy!
