پودرهای اُپَک(Opaque Powders): این پودر، اولین پودری است که در هنگام پرسلن گذاری بایستی استفاده شود. پودراُپَک 3وظیفه اصلی دارد:
1-اتصال پرسلن به ساختار فلزی زیرین:
نکته مهم در مورد رِستوریشن های پرسلنی متصل به فلز این است که، در واقع پرسلن بر اثر واکنش شیمیایی که بین پودر اُپَک و اُکسیدهای موجود در سطح فلز ایجاد می شود به فلز، باند(متصل) می شود و یا به عبارت ساده تر می چسبد. لازم به ذکر است در فلزِ این رستوریشن ها، ترکیباتی بکار رفته که وقتی که در طی مراحل آماده سازی مربوط به فلز، در کوره حرارت می بینند، اُکسیدهایی بر سطح فلز ایجاد می کنند که نهایتاً همین اُکسید ها، باعث اتصال فلز و پرسلن به یکدیگر خواهند شد.
2- پوشاندن رنگ ساختارهای فلزی زیرین:
همانطور که از اسم اُپَک این پودر بر می آید رنگ حاصل از این پودر به حدی مات و کدر است که استفاده از این پودر، مشابه یک پرده، مانع از بازتابش نور از سطح فلزی زیرین می شود.
3- ایجاد زمینه ای برای تطابق ته رنگ اصلی با دندانهای مجاور:
زمینه را برای رنگ واقعی ته رنگ اصلی فراهم می کند.
پُرسِلَنهای دِنتین اُپَک یا کُروماتیو(Opacious or Chromative Dentin Porcelains):
این گروه از پرسلنها در واقع جزو گروه پرسلنهای بادی(Body) می باشند که در واقع، میزان ترانسلوسنی(درجه شفافیت، Translucency) نهایی رستوریشن را کنترل خواهند کرد.

قوس های فکی
۱-قوس اسپی(Curve of Spee ):وقتی از دید باکال به قوس های فکی نگاه میکنیم میتوانیم قوس اسپی را ببینیم که به شکل خط منحنی راس کانین ها و کاسپ های باکال پرمولر ها و مولر ها را به هم متصل میکند. این قوس دو بعدی از جلو به عقب ابتدا به پایین سپس به بالا میرود.
۲-قوس ویلسون: انحنای عرضی سطح جونده دندان های خلفی است. این قوس نیز دو بعدی است اما در جهت مخالف قوس اسپی ، بدین معنی که قوس اسپی قدامی خلفی ولی قوس ویلسون عرضی طرفی است و قوس اسپی را قطع میکند. به علت وجود قوس ویلسون و تمایل دندان های خلفی است که کاسپ های باکال دندان های پایین و لینگوال مولر دندان های بالا غالبا بلندتر به نظر میرسد.
۳-کره مانسون: اگر قوس اسپی و مانسون را که در رو جهت متضاد قرار دارند با یکدیگر متصل کنیم انحنای سه بعدی میسازد که امتداد ان ها در فضا میتواند به شکل کره ای به نام کره مانسون مجسم شود. این کره برای دندان های پایین معقر و برای دندان های بالا محدب است.
۴-محور طولی: محور طولی دندان که عمود بر سطح اکلوزال است، غالبا با محور عمودی زاویه فرضی میسازد که بسته به نوع هر دندان متفاوت است ، تمایل دندان ها در فک عموما در جهت مزیودیستال و فاسیولینگوال در نظر گرفته میشود. تمایل تاج و ریشه درست در جهت عکس هم عمل میکنند بدین معنی اگر تاج تمایل مزیالی داشته باشد ریشه تمایل دیستالی دارد و بالعکس.

۱-کاسپ ها(Cusp ): به برجستگی های اصلی سطح جونده دندان ها و یا برجستگی های لبه انسیزال دندان کانین ، کاسپ میگویند. قسمت اعظم دندان های کانین را کاسپ ها میسازند و از این رو به انها Cuspid هم میگویند.
دندان های ثنایا کاسپ ندارند. پرمولر ها دارای ۲ یا ۳ کاسپ و مولر ها دارای حداقل ۴ کاسپ هستند.
۲-توبرکول ها(Tubercule ): برجستگی گرد و کوچکی است که استثنائا در سطح تاج دندان دیده میشود . اندازه و شکل انها متغییر است و غالبا به انها مینی کاسپ هم میگویند. توبرکول اکثرا در سطح لینگوال دندان های قدامی بالا دیده میشوند.
۳-سینگلوم(Cinuglum): برجستگی بزرگ و کاملا گردی است واقع در سطح لینگوال دندان های قدامی که دایره وار سطح مزیال را به دیستال متصل میکند.
۴-ریج(Ridge ): نوعی برجستگی در دندان ها است که تشکیل شده از دو دامنه که در یک خط به هم میرسند. اجتماع ۴ ریج یک کاسپ را میسازد. به طور کلی ریج عنصر تشکیل دهنده یک کاسپ است. به طور کلی ۵ نوع ریج به شرح زیر در دندان ها وجود دارد :
الف-مارژینال ریج(Marginal Ridge )
ب-ریج مثلثی (Triangular R)
ج-ریج عرضی(Transvers R)
د-ریج مایل(Oblique R )

سطوح دندان
۱-قدامی ها: تاج دندان های قدامی دارای ۴ سطح و ۱ لبه به شرح زیر است:
الف: مزیال(Mesial ):سطحی که به خط وسط نزدیک تر است.
ب:دیستال(Distal ): سطحی که از خط وسط دورتر است.
ج:لیبال(Lebial ):سطح خارجی که مجاور لب هاست.
د:لینگوال(Lingual ): سطح داخلی یا مجاور زبان را میگویند. به این سطح در مورد همه دندان های بالا گاهی سطح کامی یا پالاتالی(Palatal)میگویند.
ه:لبه انسیزال(Incisal Edge ): به لبه برنده دندان میگویند.
۲:خلفی ها : تمام دندان های خلفی دارای ۵ سطح به شرح زیر است :
الف: مزیال،دیستال و لینگوال: به شرحی که در مورد دندان های قدامی گفته شد.
ب: باکال(Baccal ) یا سطح گونه ای: گاهی برای رعایت اختصار به تمامی سطوح خارجی دندان ها چه قدامی و چه خلفی باکال گفته میشود.
ج:سطوح اکلوزال(Occlusal ):که به ان سطح جونده هم میگویند که در دندان های قدامی به ان انسیزال میگویند.
۳-ریشه ها(Roots ): سطوح ریشه عینا شبیه تاج دندان نامگذاری میشوند با این تفاوت که لبه انسیزال یا سطح اکلوزال در این قسمت وجود ندارد و به انتهای ریشه اپکس(Apex )میگویند.
۴-پروگزیمال(Proximal ): سطوح بین دو دندان مجاور را سطح پروگزیمال میگویند(سطح مزیال و دیستال دو دندان مجاور)
د:لاین انگل(Line-Angel ): زاویه یا خط فرضی که از به هم پیوستن دو سطح تاج به وجود می اید را لاین انگل یا L.A میگویند. در سطح هر دندان ۸ عدد L.A وجود دارد.
ه:گوشه(Point Angel ): از به همرسیدن سه سطح دندان به وجود می اید.
