A mf’n WORD. I know y’all hoes hate when my posts go viral & you see MY SHIT all up in your timeline. Could’ve been on the winning team buuut you’re NOT. That’s what happens when you allow jealousy & entitlement to eat you alive. You shouldn’t have to tear somebody else down to make yourself feel high & mighty. #NowLookAtYou#RP via @bia 🧡
The expectation of perfection is unrealistic and unfair… It’s ok to acknowledge the changes that we’ve made, the lessons we’ve learned and the growth we’ve shown. But as a wise man once told me #KeepGoing We gotta keep getting better every day. #HappySunday#rp@seanringgold
A Message! 👏🏾 — Happy Monday! Sometimes we have to celebrate ourselves. All your hard work, all your strengths, all the nights you cried and persevered through all the BS! No more dumbing ourselves down to please the world. Believe that God created a masterpiece when he created you. Let your laughter be heard and let your light shine even if you have to do it afraid. Celebrate your single self, celebrate your married self, celebrate your thick self, celebrate your thin self or whatever you have if your still alive celebrate you! It’s alright! 📸 @robertector — ( #rp ) @therealmaryjblige

Today from the archives... 🔎 Tseng Kwong Chi captured Keith Haring sharing his book “Art in Transit” with Mayor Koch in ‘84, when the two met after Keith’s anti-litter campaign design. We don’t think he liked it.
@juleslatimer and myself performing Miles by Jules L. on our @the_peace_studio tour at @jasminehillgardens.
We are thank for our Co-Founders, Maya Soetoro-Ng @matsunagainstitute@climateandpeace. Thank you! and Todd Shuster for providing us platforms to be world ambassadors through the power of story telling. #RP :
“This is ‘Miles’—A song I wrote about feeling perpetually stuck and having to find the power within myself in order to go where I never imagined.
Making art is my home. Making human connection is my purpose.
Wherever you are today know that your dreams are valid. I believe in you and the road may be long, but the journey is the best part.
#RP Read this message and tag someone. “Trials and obstacles are the Lord's chosen methods of discipline and His appointed conditions of success. He who reads the hearts of men knows their characters better than they themselves know them. He sees that some have powers and susceptibilities which, rightly directed, might be used in the advancement of His work. In His providence He brings these persons into different positions and varied circumstances that they may discover in their character the defects which have been concealed from their own knowledge. He gives them opportunity to correct these defects and to fit themselves for His service. Often He permits the fires of affliction to assail them that they may be purified.
The fact that we are called upon to endure trial shows that the Lord Jesus sees in us something precious which He desires to develop. If He saw in us nothing whereby He might glorify His name, He would not spend time in refining us. He does not cast worthless stones into His furnace. It is valuable ore that He refines. The blacksmith puts the iron and steel into the fire that he may know what manner of metal they are. The Lord allows His chosen ones to be placed in the furnace of affliction to prove what temper they are of and whether they can be fashioned for His work” (The Ministry of Healing, p. 276).
