The MR2 a car that went head to head with some of the best exotics of its time!

The MR2 started as an experiment in 1979, the lead designer Akio Yoshida was trying to build a car that would have great gas mileage, but also a fun car to drive daily. Yoshida decided to toss the engine in the back to create a good aerodynamic shape while having a good weight balance for tight turns. The engine was powered by the world's first production twin cam. 16 valve engine. The 4A-GE, another legend of an engine. Toyota got the racing legend Dan Gurney to help finalize the design more optimal handling and speed, he liked the car so much he convinced Toyota to give him the prototype to test on the real roads to see how it would perform. It was his favorite car. Like the MR2's brother the Supra it got some help from Lotus to tune its suspension before its initial release in 1984. #Toyota#MR2#Celica#Supra

Switching pulleys from denso to remanufactured or China who knows. After measuring the designs were about the same, the material used on the denso pulley was much stronger. The reman pulley had a cover on a C clip inside but everything else measured the same. #2jz#supra#AC#2jzgte#china#denso#toyota#ebay#toyotasupra
New leaks for the Toyota Supra Mk V without camo. Looks like it kept a lot of its inspiration from the FT-1 concept that Toyota has had out for a while. What do you guys think about the new design?

We coated this GTR in Feynlab Ceramic a year ago and went back for its yearly maintenance treatment! It was already still in really good shape from having minimal miles driven but we still gave it a good decontamination and fresh top coat for enhanced gloss! Recommended but not required. Feynlab is so confident in their product that there is no annual requirement for your warranty.
So clean! This Pandem GT86 looks incredible in orange. 🍊 What color would you choose for this car?
