I came home from this session tonight and immediately wanted to say, “Hey Alexa - play Dan + Shay - When I pray for you.” I listened to this song over and over when I was pregnant with Connor and while some photographers really love the wedding day - I love the journey. I love the engagement, the wedding day, the maternity, and the moment you become parents. It’s all part of the story that makes your love special and this was a special session for me as Kasey + TJ prepare for their son in May❤️ #elizabethhillphotography#ehpcouples
Let’s talk bridal portraits! Before I began photography, I had no idea it was an option to get bridal portraits done before your wedding.. I thought you just did them once you were ready on your wedding day. Which is totally fine & what I did & still loved my bridal photos!! However if you’re on the fence about getting some done, here’s a little benefit list I’ve put together for ya! -Great opportunity for final hair, makeup & bouquet trial runs. -You can print them & use them for focal points at your reception. -And my personal fave — You will have 10x the photos!! 🙌
It amazes me how much our babies grow in such a small amount of time. I remember like it was yesterday breastfeeding him almost every hour during the newborn stage, being so exhausted, but also feeling empowered that I was able to do so. Or that time we took him to the beach for the first time and he felt the sand between those tiny toes. I was literal mush.
An abundance of memories with Avery have filled my heart in the past 14 months. Many were beautiful and some were messy, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. Mama will always be here for you as we grow together, little man😊
