Just a few images from a project we've been under taking in 2020.
This is possibly the biggest cat cable pull in that we've done.. estimated 1500m+ of cat6a cable used so far. That's 40+ data points, Ubiquiti access points, CCTV and HD matrix system with 2 cat6a to each tv position.
Also @sonos 5.1 speaker system to put in place for the lounge and wall/ceiling speakers from sonos connect amps.
The Rako smart lighting system is a first for us, but we'll step up to the task to cater for our customers needs. With this, most of the lighting throughout the property will be controlled via a mobile phone/tablet or use of sequence switches with dimming functions.
Plus all the 230v supplies, accessories to wire and position, plus cables to run for future use.

I might be recycling a an old photo here but it only because it has new relevance as of today !
This morning I spent my time getting Kali Linux installed onto my Raspberry Pi. It didn’t really make too much sense to be using Virtual Box on my MacBook when I has a perfectly good computer still sat in its box which was up to the task !
I just now need to get my desk space set up so its easy to switch between the two operating systems on the one display but I am sure I will find a way !
#codexfuturae • @welcome.ai "Xenobots" are programmable "living robots" created from the skin and heart cells of frogs.
Researchers created these organic robots by cutting together and joining stem cells harvested from frog embryos into models designed on a supercomputer. The result? Clumps of cells with a cluster of pumping cardiac cells on one end acting as a motor, pushing the biological machine forward through water.
The team created a series of living robots to perform tasks such as pushing objects around or carrying a tiny payload. The tiny robots are also self-healing: the researchers sliced one nearly in half only to watch it slowly repair itself.
"These are novel living machines," University of Vermont robotics expert Joshua Bongard, who co-led the new research, said in a statement. "They're neither a traditional robot nor a known species of animal. It's a new class of artifact: a living, programmable organism."
That's awesome. And also incredibly creepy.
How do you feel about organic robotics? Is this incredible, or just wrong?

VIDEO: Here comes M/V American Century #M /V AmericanCentury #Ship#Steamship#Tech#theColumbiaStar#Titanic#Travel#Video

It was built by Bay Shipbuilding Company, Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. It includes self-unloading technology. The ship, formerly called the Columbia Star, is 1,000 feet (300 m)…
One of the best monitors out there: Apple Pro Display XDR
The monitor produces an industry-leading 1000 nits of full-screen sustained brightness and 1600 nits at its peak. It gives you the power to maintain extreme brightness without ever dimming. The result is an incredible 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio and stunningly real XDR imagery.
Although it comes at a crazy price of $4999 for the Standard glass model, it is by far a future proof display.
There is also a Nano-textured version which comes in at $5999. “Nano-texture” glass is Apple’s term for its nonreflective, matte texture option.
Apple says that the nano texture is “etched into the glass at the nanometer level” to help maintain contrast on the display despite the matte finish.
I’m not gonna talk about the $999 stand ‘cause that’s just insane.
