Accurate Statement ☝🏻
Someone asked Ryan and I last night which we liked better...
Bali or Tulum.
We said Bali with no hesitation because well... it’s Bali. We didn’t feel as if they were in the same league.
Ryan did feel the vibes of Tulum felt more to him what he expected Bali to be like. Beachy and small town vibes vs. such a diverse island from one spot to the next. If that makes sense.
What I did absolutely love about Tulum was we walked and rode our bike 🚲 almost everywhere, with the exception of our Cenote excursion.
You never are quite sure when you travel what is going to be you preferred mode of transportation. Walking, so I can stumble upon rare finds, is always mine!
Or boats. Those are cool too.
One of the reasons we decided to go to Tulum is because of the major Bali vibe we were hearing about here. Plus from Los Angeles you can take a 5 hour non-stop to Cancun (about an hour and a half drive to Tulum from Cancun airport). So you are not looking at the full 24+ hours it takes us to get to Bali.
📷 This was taken on our last full day in Tulum beach and was the only day I had coffee, 2 lattes from 2 different spots. I drink coffee every Morning at home but I run on pure adrenaline when we travel. Must be love ✈️

We just happened to be invited to to camp in Area 51 [disguised as sand dunes] last night before scootin’ off to the @mysticmanorla for a week of woo with @0ptimystic@samantha_lotus and fam. This world works in such weird ways. While we didn’t witness any extraterrestrial activity, we did catch a magical sunrise this morning. 👽☀️🌏
“We all come from the sea, but we are not all of the sea. Those of us who are, we children of the tides, must return to it again and again, until the day we don't come back leaving behind only that which was touched along the way.” - Frosty Hesson
This will always be my favourite quote!

Arriving in Scotland, Shaun made a mistake and routed us to Dunnottar Castle as our first castle experience and set the bar too high for all the other castles to come. Ocean and greenery are 2 of my treasures, so this was a beautiful scene to take in.

Seat of the Roman Empire, leading light of the Renaissance and fervent advocate of la bella vita, Italy is renowned for its art, architecture, style and passion. Such is the depth of Italy’s cultural treasures; even the most modest church façade can hide work by the likes of Michelangelo. From the triumvirate of its great cities (eternally magnificent Rome, artistic treasure-trove Florence, and magical Venice) to stunning natural beauty of its landscapes from Alpine peaks to rolling Tuscan hills to deserted Sicilian beaches, the seductive chaos and charm of the Italian lifestyle soon casts a spell over visitors. Visit gorgeous Positano or explore the island of Capri and the Blue Grotto by boat. Don’t forget the Adriatic Coastline, where you can explore Puglia, the heel of the boot, known for its Trulli architecture, delicious olive oil and ecclesiastical buildings done in every major style from Romanesque, to Gothic to Renaissance. This isn’t a place where you go to vacation – this is a place where you go to live.
