A day trip to Volterra, Italy 🇮🇹 ⠀
My Italian fam & I stopped at Volterra- this beautiful and ancient Medieval town at the mountaintop in the Tuscany region 🏰⠀
I was fascinated by everything! To the medieval streets, the old historic buildings, museums, and the incredible views overlooking the town. It was so good cheese tasting my way through the markets 🧀 ⠀
Did you know, that the Twilight Saga (New Moon) and Medici was filmed right here in Volterra?!!! 🎞🎬 This ancient town made a real and PERFECT setting!⠀

I didn't throw your toothbrush away, I didn't throw your cigarette butts. Your keys have not moved.
I didn't wash your towel, neither did my yellow dress.
I haven't changed the sheets.
I showered so late, losing all traces of your passage on my body. I rubbed in a cry of rage my cheeks which still felt your presence. And all those endless tears.
I see you everywhere at home.
Alas, we have come to the end of my photo series from Pompeii. I visited here in 2012 and so much has happened recently with the site. In a joint effort to both preserve the crumbling site due to wear and tear from the incredible numbers of tourists who visit everyday, and to continue uncovering the city still buried, Pompeii is as active now as it was when it was a functioning city. It was this thought that I was thinking when I took this photo, about how much we've learnt about the Romans thanks to Pompeii, and how much we can still learn from them by what has yet to be uncovered, starting with what was right in front of me! At the outskirts of the city, I'd found some quiet from the crowds, and more importantly, some shade to eat lunch along this simple street boardering Regio V, a large, still buried section of the city. It is within the last year that Regio V has continually hit the news as archaeologists have started digging here and have uncovered some incredible new finds like frescoes of Narcissus, and Leda and the swan, a horse skeleton, and the "World's Unluckiest Man" who had a door lentil fall on his head as he tried to run away. All that and more lay under those trees and bushes. It's so exciting to think of what else is hidden under there- it's an adventure literally waiting to be uncovered.
And please, whenever you have an opportunity to visit historical sites, please, be respectful of them, they're not an amusement park! They're very old, and we only have one.

Have you seen or climbed up the Hudson Yards Staircase?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There is a lot to explore around and under the Hudson Yards. If you ever take the Megabus you will pass them as you walk to line up for your bus or if you are at an event at the Jacob Javits Center you can see them.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Many things to see and do in NYC and NYS!

To whom it may concern// •
People out there get me so wrong. They think I'm the one who always boost my father bank balance/ money etc. To be very honest, I never judged anyone on the bases of their caste, status, money etc. •
“Yeh aap loagun ki zehniat hai meri nahi plus mera kuch bhi nahi hai" I'm dependent on my father rn.
And literally somedays it felts like I should be doing something on my own, I should be independent; doing things for myself and my family.
If you don't know me in person don't utter a single word regarding me. Thanks!

Tegakkan diri, busungkan dada. Ikhlaskan semua yang bukan milikmu. Mari membasuh luka.
My first time back on skies in close to 17 years! I was kind of afraid doing it after so many years. 🥺 But sometimes we must embrace our fear! This trip reminded me how much fun it is to ski. Are you guys doing any winter sports? 🤩
Icy reflections in Shasta ❄️🗻 a frigid morning in Northern California, fresh snow on the ground and no one around, the forecast called for cloudy skies but when the alarm went off I saw stars in the sky — a good sign for magic to happen. Found these icicles while scanning the area, a nice touch by nature indicating the sign of the season, a perfect moment...✨
