In cont. with last post .. Day 2 was quite an unexplored and infact an unheard place (atleast for me). We went for a family picnic to Sunder Nursery @sunder_nursery in Delhi . This was a real picnic place where we carried homemade food, mats , board games along with us and literally enjoyed the last leg of winters under the sun while we played some fun games sitting on the mats and also ride the electric scooter brought by a friend which literally was the highlight of the day. So, in all means it's a place with lot of greenery around , where you would see kids playing hide & seek, running around , playing ball games & what not!
Also, they have an organic market nearby where you can buy some organic food where we couldn't go because we were too busy eating & playing 😀
So, if you are looking for one good place for picnic with your friends & family , go for this one !.
Thank you @saurabh_singhal79 for recommending this , we had a great time !
Public school was cancelled here for the first time since 1996? because of the weather. Chores still had to get done though! It was beautiful and cold and miserable all at the same time! Us homeschoolers still did school but weren't very rigorous with it. I had the creative bug bad today. So, with the wind and snow beating on the house, I made bread, butter, yogurt and buttermilk between morning and evening chores. Recipes to come!! We all need to remember no day is wasted, when we walk with Jesus and love those around us! My loves are enjoying some yummy, from scratch goodness tonight! Hope you all enjoyed your snow day! #wheregritmeetsgrace#rawdairy#eachdayisagift#fromscratchcooking#simplelife#winterwonderland
Inspired by a winter's walk here in Minnesota, dramatic shadows pass atop the fallen snow. The Mississippi River shines in the distance as a forest of trees reach up, creating a mosaic of colors in the sky
