Uhhh, foi por pouco!

This whole outfit is toooo cute! Finally hit the gym again for more rehab exercises and light cardio. It feels so good to be a bit more active again!
On the other hand, I will be uploading a mini try on haul for all the new @buffbunny_collection release in Jan 25th at 1pm CST. Be sure to sub to my YT channel so you get notified when I upload ;)
Life/Health Update 🔅
I started classes this week at USF, and I love the university so far! This semester I’m taking experimental bio, comparative vertebrate anatomy, and evolution. In May, I will receive my B.S. in Biological Science 🎓 I’m still studying for my MCAT and pursuing a 1-year masters program, then medical school!
As far as my health goes, I’ve been struggling. My nerve block has worn off, and the pain in my neck and head has come back full force. I’ve been diagnosed with occipital neuralgia, and I’m thankful that we’ve narrowed down the cause of my pain, but disappointed at the same time. This condition has given me a new threshold of pain, and battling the worst pain you’ve endured nearly every day can wear you down.
I’m going to see a neuro-opththalmologist in 2 weeks in attempt to diagnose and correct my vision issues (fingers crossed🤞🏻). I never imagined at 22 years old I may have permanent visual disturbances and blurriness, but I will never take my vision for granted again. I’ve also started a new nerve pain medication, and I will be getting another nerve block in 2 weeks to hold me over until I have an appointment for Botox injections.
I haven’t been posting much because I’m truly disappointed with my health and where I’m at. I’ve worked so hard for 9 months since this injury to do all of the right things and see all of the right doctors (even moved across the state my last semester 🙃), and my symptoms are worse than they were before. I saw a CT of my neck this week and seeing how misaligned my vertebrae still are was upsetting. I went from bodybuilding, tracking my food, and working out 6 times a week, to struggling to lift weights at all. It’s hard to watch your hard work slip away. •••
I’ve been through a lot, but I refuse to give up on the things I love. I’ve had to make adjustments and move slowly, but what matters is that I’m still moving. Adversity can hit you at any time and you have to find a way to adapt and overcome. From here on out I’m going to be sharing more instead of only showing my good days, and I hope that I can help anyone else who is experiencing some major adversity in their lives right now 🤍
