Many times your body will use other muscles instead of the ones it should be using, therefore causing pain in areas that aren't stabilised. So, work those little muscles! Get them glutes to fire, those abdominal muscles to strengthen and for stability and don't forget to stretch out the areas that need it!
Faça as coisas pequenas serem grandes.
Faça alguém sorrir.
Faça a diferença.
Faça as pazes.
Faça com que as pessoas se sintam amadas.
Faça com que você não tenha nenhum arrependimento.
I’ve never posted a picture like this before but I’m extremely happy and proud of my progress this last season. I have never seen so many veins on my body before. 👍🏼 😃 It took a lot of hard work, dedication (especially on my diet) along with the supportive and VERY understanding people around me. •
In the next few months, I’m going to work hard to add more mass to my frame. I know it won’t be easy. Especially trying to stay as lean as possible, but I’m determined to make it happen. •
New pictures will be posted in the future so I can hold myself accountable for my new goal and progress. •
A special shout-out to my trainer Mike Ergas @mikeergasifbbpro for helping and guiding me through this process. Especially with my diet! You are amazing and very inspiring. See you tomorrow! 😉

To be honest, I’ve been feeling very disconnected from social media lately. I go thru phases. 🤷🏼♀️ Maybe you guys can help... why do you continue to follow me and what kind of content do you want to see more of?!

FUN FACT and reason 615516 why i love taking anatomy is bc the brain is the most interesting and incomprehensible thing to me
🧠👹 think ab something as small as how your clothes are touching your body all day, yet you stop thinking of it within minutes of putting them on.
this is bc ur brain is CONSTANTLY interpreting signals from the outside world and deciding which is a threat and which isn’t. your clothes touching you isn’t a threat, so that signal is literally just forgotten about. so you’re technically still feeling it, your brain literally just ignored the signal for you
idk about anyone else but that just makes me so in awe and confused bc it’s like WE ARE our brain, yet it can do things without our conscious decision. that’s some real matrix shi to me
sorry to get all deep but i had to share bc i could literally learn and talk about the brain and anatomy for hours😂😂 can anyone else relate or am i just dr. frankenstein at heart 🧟♂️

the last ab vacuum i did before show day! i’ve been practicing these for about 6 months now. they’re still extremely difficult to perform and definitely a work in progress but it still amazes me how much control is involved in this one simple movement. next goal is to gradually stand more upright and eventually hold for a longer period of time without feeling like i’m choking 😪

Between the holidays, the new year, and a trip to Arizona... getting back into the swing of things in NYC has been rough to say the least. & yes, I realize it’s almost the end of January and I’m slightly behind (whoops 🤷🏼♀️😂).
When I returned back to the city, I went a week without working out, plus got sick, prohibiting me further from moving my body. I realize that isn’t such a big deal - but definitely out of the norm for me. It’s okay and it’s necessary to give your body rest when it needs it. But, I’ve found it difficult both physically and mentally to get back into my typical workout routine.
I wish I had some magic answer for you how to get back motivation after stepping off track for a bit. To be frank, sometimes you just gotta push yourself, even if you don’t always feel like it or are tired. I may not be in the mood to get up extra early to break a sweat or head to a class after a long day - but I do know how much better & accomplished I feel after I move and challenge my body. That’s truly what keeps me going. #calynbrooke
