So here’s the finished product which I’ve been posting process pics of all week 😎. This piece will be heading to @westlandgallery for there January group show along with a few others. I’m excited about this sort of new direction 😁
Fields of Gold. No underlying meanings. Just that Sting song. The person who introduced me to Sting, The Eagles, Queen, and the other legends I won't mention for lack of space, was also the only person I knew who diligently solved the daily crossword in the newspaper, just like me. We moved to different places but I am sure he still does the crosswords every day.
On the subject of art: Starting a new landscape. Technically started it a couple of days ago, priming and underpainting and all. Just blocking the colours today.
Hi guys, happy amazing Saturday! Here's bright and sunny, awesome light to paint!
I felt such an energy springing out when i made this painting, I wanted it to reming a crack where light go through filling everything with dynamism and liveliness! 💡 Nature, waterfalls, light peering through... 🎷 Emotional rescue by Rolling Stones @therollingstone

I always love seeing where my paintings land. This is ‘The Early Ebb’ 29cm x 29cm, (bottom left) acrylic and mixed media on 360gsm paper, float mounted under glass (see previous post from earlier this week) which landed yesterday with a collector. 😊👨🎨🎄 #Repost@cornwallcontemporary with @get_repost
How marvellous to see this David Mankin painting arrive in its new home, where it is temporarily living next to a Neil Pinkett before finding its own perfect hanging spot. I think they look pretty good together.
Thank you so much for checking.
It arrived yesterday.
We love it!
Here it is, just south of Mister Pinkett, waiting to be hung!”
Hey everyone! Here is my choice of paintings from this year.
Thank you for being my audience this year, for following me, for your likes, the lovely comments and for the inspiration to carry on. You all have been so important to me! This may sound really silly. but it's true.
I decided this morning that it's time to take a break, enjoy the December month without (too much) IG. I want to focus on the here and now, spending some time in nature, be with my loved ones and maybe take some time to see some museums and exhibitions.
So for now, I wish you all a wonderful Christmas, a great New Years Eve and I will hopefully see you all next year! xxx *

I'm creating a whole universe over here, and I feel a bit like an author. Today I painted some of the closeup elements of last week's paintings, rounding out this colorful world for a special 2020 project 😉.
