Patience. Burning with passion and motivation, I finished the race with full of determination. The intensity, sweat, and cramps. At the end of the day, i was recognized. 😊 #runrioleg32019#runriotrilogy2019
A big √√√ on my bucket list to finish a full marathon by myself. With the podcasts as your guide, God and Family as you motivator and that glorious snicker bar as an energy provider! 😎
T'was a life saver that snicker bar tho 😅😅 #runriotrilogy2019#HeartToFinish
Today I achieved a lifelong dream of mine. I've been a Lord of the Rings fanatic for as long as I can remember. As a kid I would run around the house yelling "Toss me!" As I guzzled down coffee attempting to stunt my growth so that I could be a dwarf like Gimli. This universe has had such a positive impact on my life and to be in the place where it all happened was truly special. Happy birthday, Frodo and Bilbo Baggins. This International Hobbits Day goes to you!
People always ask others what their perfect date would be. For me, the answer has [for a very long time] been: "macaroons and wine". Today, after a day full of picking organic apples and wading through the ocean, I am finally having macaroons for the very first time. #perfectdate#achieved@mskent1128

Common preconception... debunked. Do you agree?
I was fooled. I tried both. And from personal experience plus reflection I found out which one was better.
I hope you find something to take away from this!

My 3 Secrets to Getting Better At Speaking
𝟭. 𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗡 𝗧𝗢 𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗥𝗦
Just like you would watch tape of someone who has a perfect golf swing if you want to get better at swinging a club, you should listen to great speakers speak.
Our minds learn by modeling and mimicking what we see and hear (that's how we learned to walk and talk in the first place).
You'd be surprised how many people think they can just become an excellent speaker all on their own.
𝟮. 𝗦𝗔𝗬 𝗬𝗘𝗦 𝗕𝗘𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨'𝗥𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗬
Take every opportunity to be on stage or on camera. You will never feel fully ready or "good enough." But to get better you must start. You just have to feel the fear and do it anyway.
Now that you've taken notes on some of the greats and what they do, and you've gotten over your silly fears and started to speak, it's time to evaluate.
Watch your speech back over again, as soon as you can after speaking. Watch it as a spectator in the audience would have seen it.
Compare the results to how you intended it and what techniques you tried. How did you do?
Repeat this process a few days later when it isn't so fresh. To this day, I watch my Monday night calls as soon as I finish them so I can self-critique and get better.
𝟰. 𝗕𝗢𝗡𝗨𝗦 𝗧𝗜𝗣
Cammaaan, you didn't really think I actually only had 3 tips did you? Bonus tip is to decide if you're a script or off-script kinda person. I personally get into flow state and work best without a script. Others are paralyzed by the thought of having no script. Split test and find out what works for you as early as you can.
With these tips in mind, you should make considerable progress in no time.
Now do me a favour and tag 3 friends if you got value!
Make sure that you do not settle, you are in control of your life! ✊🏻

Okay, I’m having some fun with this one but this quote reminded me of an important lesson…
𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞, 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩!
One of the factors that allow me to sleep so well at night is my financial security.
For most of my adult life, I have lived WAYYYYY below my means.
Sure, I’ve bought nice homes, exotic cars, crazy amazing exotic vacations...
...but if you added up everything I own materially, it’s a small fraction of what I’ve been able to put into investments.
Many entrepreneurs are running around with lots of flashy cars, clothes, and homes but they have little to no investment income.
And when the shit hits the fan and you have a financial emergency, which it sometimes does, they are scrambling to make ends meet...
stressed beyond belief...
and have to go into debt!
I’m thankful that I had mentors who taught me early to be wise with my money.
It’s allowed me to get into a situation where I could live on the interest on my investments if I had to.
That’s peace of mind, my friends.
Here’s my suggestion…
don’t wait until you’re making a lot of money to start saving because if you can’t save and invest when you’re making a little, you won’t be able to save and invest when you’re making a lot!
My wish for you is that you act intelligently with your money and be able to create generational wealth for your family!
