This walkway winds its way along a cliff, 300ft above Capilano River. While the views are insane, what’s even crazier is that the granite walls of the cliff (directly to my right) are 160,000,000 years old 🤯

About this time last year I was backpacking to this magical place with my best friend.
We were out of shape and could barely move the next day after our hike in, but we managed to make the trek down to Mooney and Beaver Falls anyway, and I’m so glad we did.
Icelandic glacier study.
So I have to admit that I cannot remember the name of this glacier! If anyone recognizes it please do let me know, it's in the mid south of the island if that helps atall. I have tried researching it but no photos on Google look like this particilar glacier.
We walked through wild blueberry and bilberry patches for about an hr from the main rd to get to the glacier. Turns out when we finally got there to the left of us was a viewing platform with about 30 tourists. We had missed the turning and sign post for the glacier on the main road! The adventure through the field was really nice though.
Would it not be fascinating to go there - to that area above the waterfall? That’s what I tried to do on July 1, 2019 - when you are on the google satellite images - you will notice that when you get to this point - if you work your way to the right of the glacier lake - there’s what looks like a ramp taking you to the glacier above the waterfall. But alas it would not be because it was choked full of snow and ice and Peter had a semi - hard fall and could not self arrest himself 😔 I managed to slide a good 30 feet before managing to stop myself. I was a little bruised but ok and walked back to this very point and sat down and took this picture. If you waited to late July some of that ice and snow would melt - and you could walk up there but June and early July you would need crampons and ice screws etc.
[ I’m just brainstorming some ideas as to how I will do this in early July 🤔 ]

Iceland has some of the most diverse landscapes on the planet. Definitely one of the most fascinating and unique places we have visited. When we arrived at this location, I was a bit concerned because I am not comfortable with heights and usually freak out if I am on the edge of something and don’t feel secure. This section of rock look terrifying when I was standing back watching @christianwinward test it out, but it was deceivingly wide and completely safe... so no freak outs! 📷 @christianwinward

Do you ever sit there and feel lost? Maybe you are truly lost. Maybe you need to reevaluate your life and see where change needs to take place. Maybe you need to hear that there is always hope. Maybe you need to seek counsel. Maybe you need to seek the Creator of the Universe. Don't stay lost.

There are so many incredible sights in Sedona, and this particular one is so amazing I had to visit it for a second year in a row. Last year at this time, these pools were overflowing so much that they all joined and became a waterfall, whereas this year they were individual, distinct pools. I have to say I like this version much better because the reflections were just so incredibly dreamy. I stayed here for over an hour just soaking up the views, snacking on @stryvebiltong - a high protein, zero sugar snack that kept me going for miles on these jaw-dropping trails. 🧡
This little goober and I have been soaking in every minute we can of this amazing sunshine! Hope you guys find some time to get outside this weekend, rain or shine, it should be beautiful! Happy Friday!! .
Mt Rainier in all her sunny day glory.
The first full day of our trip started off with waking up at 5am due to the time change. But that gave me plenty of time to pack my bag for our day trip to Mt Rainier National Park. After driving to the Paradise visitor's center and soaking up the vistas along the way, we headed to Narada Falls to showshoe the Wonderland Trail from Narada Falls to Reflection Lake. Putting the snowshoes on was a challenge in itself but luckily we had @dreaming_0ut_loud to help us and also to teach us how to walk in them. We were the first ones to hike in that section and the trail wasn't marked so we had to keep stopping to check the AllTrails map. We did have to turn around before Reflection Lake but I still count it as a win! I've always thought snowshoeing looked cool and now I know it is very cool (and very hard to get used to 🙃). Plus I'll take hiking at almost 5,000 ft on top of ten feet of snow any day!
I’m afraid winter is my least favorite season, especially in Utah...apparently I need to get back into snow skiing🙈 Also, yes, Luna was extremely jealous that I would dare to love on someone other than her...this is also a major issue with anyone that I date😂😆 #savannahsomewherewithluna & Jeb💜

This photo brings back so many good memories! Can’t wait to finally make the 40km canoe trip back to this beautiful island! Who else is making the trip this year? We’re going in July! 😁🇨🇦🌦
