Glamp like a pro in the grand airstream.
по цене 12000₽ ночь без такс.
как вам? хотели бы там пожить?
или больше за что-то классическое?
During our travels in Maine, we made a few pit stops in between destinations.• •
On our way to Bar Harbor, we stopped at the L.L. Bean flagship store in Freeport to check out the big boot, Riverbed Aquarium and “The Final Charge” locked antler moose. The L.L. Bean flagship was part of a larger outlet mall and there was RV specific parking which made it a very easy pit stop for us. When we returned to the RV parking after shopping & exploring, we were surrounded by a few Class A’s that completely dwarfed us!•
When we left Bar Harbor to head to western Maine, we did a quick drive through Bangor to see the Paul Bunyan Statue and Stephen King’s house. Stephen King’s house was absolutely beautiful with an amazing iron fence surrounding it. The iron fence had awesome details - spider webs, dragons and a symbolic red balloon tied to the front gate. The house is currently under repairs and will become a museum in the future.•
Taking these pit stops were a lot of fun! It helps break up a long and sometimes bumpy drive as well as giving us the opportunity to see some of America’s smaller tourist attractions.
We came across the perfect place to spend our first week back out on the road. The Michaux State Forest in PA gave us a nice selection of primitive camping spots that connected to multiple hiking/biking trail systems, and featured several state parks, all with free admission. This park, Pine Grove Furnace, is the halfway point of the Appalachian Trail, and plenty of south-bound hikers were still passing through! I know Nate wishes he could join them 😊
This beauty helped us check for leaks today. We’re at a stage where there isn’t a lot to show for what we’re doing when outsiders look at her, but we’re working hard and chipping away nonetheless. Conquering all the leaks is tedious but SO important to moving forward.
We finally found a solution for 3 car seats being anchored in, and it’s going to be expensive but I’m so thankful to have that off of our list. It was important for me that the kids have more than a lap belt, and that everything was anchored to the frame not facing sideways. A booth just can’t cut it when it comes down to safety. Now they’ll be able to transition when they’re size out of car seats and be able to get a snug buckle into a standard cross chest belt. 🤗
Final sealing will happen today and then we start the subfloor. PTL! We’re tired!

Buster seems like a grump but deep down he loves fall.
the anticipation of fully moving in is killing me 😅 so I just HAD to go buy a few new things from @tjmaxx. The previous owners painted the interior a cool blue color. Instead of painting, we are going to wait until we fully renovate to change anything. So, I decided to buy some warm toned items to cozy up the place 🧡 TJ Maxx is the gettin’ place 🙌🏼

It’s been a few weeks since my last post and as you’ve probably noticed I’ve been very busy trekking and photographing for @fjallravenofficial
This week I returned from S. Korea and JeJu island with @fjallraven_korea where I completed my 8th Fjällräven classic! What an amazing trip and the Fjällräven Korea team organized and executed the event flawlessly. I will definitely return again next year!
If you’ve been following along and have any questions about one of these events leave a comment or shoot me a DM and I’ll answer them right away. I look forward to seeing you on the trail!
Blue crocs, blue hair, blue sky 🦋
So after our first “official” stop in Moab to see Arches NP; we decided to continue on our way to California through Monument Valley- where we (like all the other crazy tourists) jumped out of our car and stood in the middle of the highway for a photo 😳 Such an amazing landscape, so glad we routed through it @airstream_inc
Day 102 of full-time Airstream living.
We have so many little friends at our new campsite!
I wish we would have captured a photo of Whitman when he saw ducks for the first time. His eyes were wider than they’ve ever been. He’s been faithfully stalking the ducks through the Airstream windows ever since. He seems both fascinated and horrified by their existence.
We love how much stimulation the cats receive from nature and from our ever-changing surroundings. Whether they’re chasing flies in the Airstream, running after leaves outside, or observing a new creature, there’s always something fun for them to be doing. Sure beats living on the 5th floor of a NYC apartment. These camping views are so much more favorable than the concrete jungle we’ve left behind.
#5 of the #5Things You Should Know About Douglas Bentham: A fun fact about #DouglasBentham - he collects #Airstream trailers! The trailers are scattered all over his property, just outside of Saskatoon, amongst his sculptures. Airstream trailers are known for their rounded shape and “aircraft grade” aluminum body. They tend to be passed down from generation to generation, sentimentally more similar to artwork than a motor vehicle.
My favorite people on the planet are women that aren’t 150% focused on themselves. Personally, I have never needed to unscrew another woman’s lightbulb in order for me to shine. I’m perfectly capable of admiring someone else’s beauty, accomplishments, and success, without questioning my own. I’m all about supporting and cheering on my friends and loved ones from all walks of life, but especially my entrepreneurial pals. It takes about 57 hours in a day to start up and run a successful business. It can be hard on relationships of all types. I’m so lucky to have such a fantastic support group! I appreciate everyone in my life, from my family who cheer me on and take care of the kids when I’m busy working, to my friends who make time for me even though I have to cancel and reschedule often due to customer service, to my clients who take the time to tag me and give photo credits when they post photos. That’s how I market. Photography is an art form. Don’t forget to credit the artist who has afforded you the luxury of blasting that gorgeous mug of yours all over social media ✌🏻📸❤️🔥.

They say (or sing) don’t go chasing waterfalls. But, I say it’s Wednesday. Go find a waterfall!

We are so excited to begin the unveiling of our latest renovation...it’s an AIRSTREAM!! 🌿 We were lucky enough to get to renovate this special trailer and personalize it for the owners with beautiful things they love. 🧡 I don’t want to reveal too much until they see it first, so here is a teaser of the kitchen. #renovatedrv#rvfixerupper#cozyonwheels#airstream#airstreamrenovation
It’s now beginning to look and feel like fall around here. Today should be another beautiful day, starting out in the mid 30s and warming up to about 65 degrees today. Time for my morning cup of coffee.

Everyone that walks in here—almost without fail—says it's so much bigger in here than they would have guessed it'd be. The seemingly impossible task of making 200 square foot feel spacious was one of my goals with this build. I think I owe a lot of that to my decision to build this skinny bar table rather than a large U-shaped seating area. For the longest time, this concept was just a little idea floating around in my head ever since we got our first Mavis. Seeing it built and now using the space is everything I hoped it'd be. And it's exciting to see customers at @moontrailers follow suit and incorporate this design in their own builds. If anyone is out there is in the design stage of your Airstream build, I highly recommend this little setup! We'll be sitting here eating our breakfast and peeping at you guys through the windows in a campground near you in no time. HAHAH 😂
