What a beauty day out as the sun shines on the untouched snow. Even though this area is pretty flat, you can still find the beauty and always great to spot the pumpjacks #oilandgas#alberta#beautyscenery#myhome
Carl, Nathalie & Clark all worked in Alberta’s oil & gas industry. Now their jobs are completely different. They chat career reinvention & tell us what it's like to go from engineering to teaching, a corporate office to mountain guiding & oil sands electrical projects to solar energy. Part 1 of a 2 part episode.
Don't just take it from us - listen to our attendees! Benjamin Nadareski, Global Business Development and Strategy with DrumG, attended Inventures in 2019 and had only great things to say about his time. Are you ready to experience Innovation Unbound?
‘The Snow Roans’.
Deep in a snowy forest in Alberta’s Rocky Mountain foothills, it was pure magic to see these wild horses. All wild horses are beautiful. But every once in a while, nature reveals a stunning gift for those who are fortunate enough to find it. I affectionately call them the ‘Snow Roans’. Two of the most stunning wild horses I have ever seen. Come along and join us for an Alberta wilderness horse retreat May 31st to June 6th, called ‘Find Wild Horses, Find Yourself. For the first time ever, this retreat will bring together the healing spirit of domestic horses AND beautiful connections with the wild horses of the mountains. With her @eponicity program, my retreat partner Debbie Draves Legg has been changing people’s lives through the healing power of companion horses. Guests will enjoy rustic lodging next to an alpine river in the mountains, home cooked meals, campfires, sessions with Debbie and companion horses, and I will be your guide to find, enjoy and connect with the wild horses in the nearby foothills. No photographic experience or experience with horses necessary, but I am happy to offer photographic tips. Horseback riding is an option for guests too. There are just 3 spots left. For each guest we are making a donation to #helpalbertawildiessociety to help them with their excellent advocacy on behalf of Alberta Wild horses. For more details, please email me firstname.lastname@example.org or message me here. See you in the spring! .
Did you know we offer three youth granting streams for environmental projects in Alberta? See how you could receive $$$ for yours on our website!
Pictured: Hillcrest Christian School, who received a Youth Environmental Engagement Grant for an outdoor exhibition. They partnered with the Wolverine Nordic Society in Tumbler Ridge and completed some small projects that need doing in the area around a community cabin 🌲
It’s a pretty simple argument which comes down to maintenance. The more moving parts, the more maintenance needs to be done to avoid issues down the road.
Did you know one of these railcard tanks can hold up too 114,000 litres of oil?

Be curious. Get outside.
Go to bed on time, some of the time. Drink water.
Breathe from your diaphragm.
Eat broccoli. Eat chocolate.
Get a routine baggy enough to live in.
Don't beat yourself up.
Be kind to other people. And yourself.
Accept that not everyone will like you.
Appreciate those who do. Remember the bad times
don't last. Don't be defined. Allow fuck ups.
Want what you already have. Look up to the sky.
Not just down to your phone.
Remember to be alive ❤️.

The grand finale to a perfect day in the Rockies. 🌄
#throwback#canadagames2019#quebec#bleuetblanc#junior#wheelchairbasketball#bronze#reddeer#alberta . @charli_homes
