Yesterday I got a reminder that THIS is some earthlings reality. Being brought up just to be pushed into small cages, shaking from fear while being transported in the crazy Bali traffic on their way to death. And oh, just to become our nugget, or fancy filet.
We, as humans believe we OWN everything we see on this earth. And we forget that animals can feel pain and fear just the same way we do. Yet we put them in factories to turn them into ham, chicken, and beef etc. and think it's totally "okay". (of course as long as we don't have to watch the misery they're going through)
This was her last egg.
Her body gave up. She was a slave to the industry. A slave to human pleasures. Not needs. What is it in us that makes us think we can do this to them just because they're smaller or have feathers or are less "intelligent"?
Doesn't this picture make you feel anything?
Her life was hell because we chose to eat her periods. Yes, that's what eggs are. Her freedom was taken away from her and she will be tossed away like trash.
She was someone.
This was her body. Not ours.
Please don't buy this bullshit.
This is not okay.
As many as 9,000 badgers took longer than five minutes to die after being shot as part of culls to control TB in cattle, a former government adviser has claimed.
Professor Ranald Munro and 19 other vets, scientists and animal welfare campaigners have written to Natural England to warn them that their culls are causing 'huge suffering' and are ineffective in reducing TB in cattle.

The new ARIWA undercover documentation shows the cruel fate of millions of pigs in German factory farms. Ignored, killed and disposed of.
We launched an online #petition to the Federal Ministry for Food and Agriculture to make their suffering visible. Please sign and spread it – link in bio („Jetzt Petition zeichnen“)! This is our first video with English subtitles. Germany is one of the biggest exporter of pork meat. Especially to China, Italy and the Netherlands. We want to expose the supposedly good German system for what it is: as cruel and unnecessary as animal exploitation everywhere. Please share!
Excerpts from the video text:
According to the law on the prevention of cruelty to animals, sick and wounded pigs should receive medical treatment and be relieved from their suffering without pain. But in German pig farms, a long and painful death awaits them. That’s what hidden cameras in 2 factories have shown.
ONE IN 5 ANIMALS WILL NEVER REACH SLAUGHTER AGE
In 2017 a study by the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover revealed that 13.6 million pigs are killed each year in pig farms in #Germany . One in 5 animals will never reach slaughter age. Many die of untreated diseases, resulting from injuries or accidents. Many of them are killed cruelly.
No one needs meat or animal products. Fight against animal abuse and its consequences for humans, animals and the environment. This is the only way to put an end to animal suffering.
PETITON: MAKING THE HIDDEN VISIBLE
Parallel to the publication we launched an online petition to the Federal Ministry for Food and Agriculture. Right now no one systematically checks how many and in what way pigs in pig farms die. Their bodys are brought to so called animal carcase disposal plants.
We demand the systematic documentation and examination of the dead animals disposed of in the so called „Tierkörperbeseitigungsanlagen“ to show the public how much suffering there is throughout the whole life of a pig in a factory farm.

🇬🇧 Remove the cages! For us it's not just a slogan, we really did it. In the 80s, Titti's uncle @tittiveg_ontheroad had a giant cage mounted as a bird-cage aviary on the hill behind La Casota.
Although empty for many years, it has always conveyed to us an idea of oppression, imprisonment and suffering for those who were forced to live there against his will.
Today we decided to make a symbolic gesture (despite the difficulties: the inaccessible place, the economic commitment and the work of two men for three days), we had it dismantled and taken away.
La Casota wants to be a place where even symbols of suffering are banned.
The cage, although far from the eyes, remains one of the most powerful symbols of oppression and exploitation. #lacasotavegan#untileverycageisempty#antispeciesism#compassion#ethicalvegan#torbolesulgarda#govegan#animalliberation#humanliberation

Hi er body,
For the next few months or so, you’ll start seeing this little ad on Instagram and/or Facebook, be sure to give it a like, comment, tag your friends, and/or share when you do. 🙏🏼😘 Thank you for your support 💙
Shout out to my beautiful friend Ms Liz G (vegan and animal rights activist herself) for taking the time to model for moi 🙏🏼🌱💚
10 answers about my brand:
1. I’ve always been an art kid 🎨 This brand is both a lifelong dream and my contribution to the fight against all forms of discrimination, especially SPECIESISM.
2. As a new brand, I’m nowhere near charitable. My ultimate goals are to be able to contribute to sanctuaries and animal rights groups when the brand is stable enough to do so. For now, I live adjacent to Broke Ass Mountain in Debtown Abbey 😝
3. As far as I know, this is the first 🌈transgender owned animal rights brand in the US! Animal Rights are Human Rights, no one is free when others are oppressed.
4. The vegan awakening overcame me in the winter of 2016. I went pescatarian after that. Then my pup 🐶and I 👩🏻 went full vegan and jointed the animal liberation (social justice) movement in July 2017.
5. We 👩🏻🐶 support disruptions, open rescues, lockdowns, protests, marches, speak outs, vigils, The Save Movement, Anonymous for the Voiceless, DXE, PETA, ALF, petitions, legislative advocacy, and Animal Bill Of Rights.
6. We believe compassion is not a crime.
7. We are based in Los Angeles, California - the state is the 5th largest economy in the world. We banned FUR recently.
8. Our shirts come from established manufacturers who produce their products responsibly. We then print with a small vegetarian-family owned local company. 1 day, I want to be able to manufacture my own clothes.
9. We try to be as ECO as possible - RPET (recycled plastic) and cotton/organic cotton fabric ONLY, water based ink, 100% recycled mailers, etc.
10. Yasss you can ask me anything 🤗
Reposted from @veganactionswales (@get_regrann) - Veganism is a moral baseline against animal exploitation and in support of animal rights.
We don't promote meatless Mondays, or free range, or organic, flexitarianism, grass fed, etc. for the same reasons we don't promote beatless Monday in an abusive relationship or welfarism on sex traffic.
We live in a culture that does not question the use of animals, not just their treatment, so we need to get people to question and reject their perception of daily use of animals to fight speciesism.
Our stance is nothing less than total liberation of individuals of all species.

Only a few days old, his legs are splayed out to the side.
Bred to grow to slaughter size in just 6-8 weeks, how are his legs meant to cope? They gave in only days into his short life.

An RSPCA-approved meat chicken farm.
One of the few things that distinguish this RSPCA-approved farm from the rest is the metal perch running down the middle of the shed.
Do consumers really know what the "RSPCA-approved" label even means?
Here is what the label means: https://tinyurl.com/rspcaapproved 📷 | Australian RSPCA-Approved Broiler Farm

Meat chickens (broilers) are bred to grow so quickly that their legs often cannot support their weight for their short 6-8 week lives.
This little one, found in an RSPCA-approved farm, was only a few days old.
Days old, and his legs could not support him.

Even with as much empathy as humans possess, it is difficult for us to even begin to imagine how a caged layer hen must feel.
To be trapped in a cage for months on end.
To be bred to lay such an unnatural number of eggs that your bones become brittle from calcium depletion.
To be tossed away like rubbish once your egg production starts to decline - shoved onto a truck and sent to a slaughterhouse at a mere 18 months of age.
We must always try to put ourselves in their shoes.
It is through doing so that we see why we must never exploit them, why we must never stop fighting for them.
It is through doing so that we understand that if we were in their position, we would want someone to do anything in their power to save us.

Back in 2018, a group of activists entered a duck slaughterhouse in Victoria.
Many of the 8-week old ducks, such as this one, were found dead.
When duck sheds are cleared out and packed onto trucks to be sent to slaughter, workers will pick ducks up by the necks or wings, violently and haphazardly throwing them into crates before slamming the crates shut like drawers into the pile of crates stacked onto the truck.
No amount of care is taken to avoid injury - as long as the vast majority of the ducks make it alive to the slaughterhouse. The sheds are cleared out at night by contracted workers. Labour costs are minimised by the fast-paced work, with the money saved by this haphazard and careless work justified as the profit lost by the few individuals such as this one who don't make it is nothing compared to the cost of extra time and wages.

She has broken legs
She is crying
She knows her life of misery is going to be ended soon
Though she’s still trying to hold on
Because she was given JUST ONE LIFE and she wants to fight for it
BUT THE EVILNESS OF MEN has no limit and they will kill her for their own selfishness .
🦃 Turkeys can lead complex, meaningful lives, when given the opportunity. They are wonderful mothers, being the center of their poults world. Because of our insistence on breeding them simply to be slaughtered for consumption, we deny them any semblance of compassion. Leave animals off your plate!
When I say vegan is the moral baseline, it’s not about you as an individual. It’s about us as a humanity. Because almost all of us were brought up to believe that (certain) animals were here for us to do with what we please.
But it doesn’t matter how we were raised. We all have the capacity to change. We have the capacity to remember who we really are. To remember who the real victims are. And to remember how powerful our capacity for love truly is.
Across gender. Across race. Across species ❤️🐄 #WeAreOne

"Be the nation that stops the race" ~@craig_b_vegan
As many of you may already know Melbourne cup is coming up.. If you don't already know what Melbourne cup is it is a horse racing event, that is held every year.
The horses are forced to race 3200 metres. But what you actually didn't know is that many horses don't even make it to the race track to race. From their "training" alone they get hurt!
Nothing says "we love our horses" like sending thousands of them to slaughter every year.
Failed and former race horses usually get made into food.
Just like humans, horses feel a fly on their skin, let alone getting whipped repeatedly with a whip. For the innocent horses whipping can cause them trauma and scarred tissue. You would whip your dog or cat?!! What's the difference between a dog or cat and a horse? They both want to live!
Many people celebrate the Melbourne cup with champagne, people dress up, and bid on their lives. When really you are paying for them to be abused and killed.
In Australia one race horse dies every three days! With so much money at stake many trainers use drugs on the horses, to try and push them beyond their physical capabilities.
YOU PAY, THEY DIE!!!
