These two animal-loving beauties made my night at the @animalsindistress#wagsandwhiskersball fundraiser - I was a late surprise guest to their table (dressed like the downstairs maid at the Downton Abbey compared to their Dynasty glamour) but Chloe and Rebecca welcomed me with open 🐾 and an abundance of glitter - I’m still wearing my rose-gold smattering, it’s so happy-making! (Thanks @glitterqueen1216) Now all we need is for the donations to keep rolling in for #thebigbark to give the pups new cosy accommodations! 🤞 🐕 ✨ #shelterdogs#animalsindistress#everypennyhelps

You remember Leila? Leila was found electrocuted by an inhumane human being, where she lost three of her four limbs. Well, quick update from the last time you heard of her, she is now rehearsing for her upcoming daily soap audition for netflix. You'll often find herself imitating the most dramatic of scenes from Bollywood, like scratching the walls and brooding from her one limb, or looking down and playing with the cloth like she must be blushing, to name a few. Also she made new kitten friends, when no ones watching, they often enjoy a sneaky kitty tea party as well.
What does a dog and a cellphone have in common?
THEY BOTH HAVE A COLLAR ID. 😂
This joke was overheard by one of us, cracked by this little goof called Baby, we are not even kidding.
If you want to help Baby recover from her physical ailment, where she happens to bleed blood when she urinates, how about make a contribution, by clicking the link in bio.
Playing (interacting) with your new adopted pet, is building trust. Careing when it seems like no hope, especially when they have had a traumatic start to life.
A Big Thanks to all you amazing families that adopt and persevere with your pet. Your pet will reward you,

@animalsindistress Thank you for our Ron Weasley aka Ronnie, Ron Ron and Mr Weasley 🐱🐈 He's settled in so quick and was showing Monty and the dogs who's boss after a couple of days! Trying to get a picture of him with Monty, 2 Staffies and a Lurcher is near impossible because they play constantly and Ron doesn't sit still for long 🙈 he loves ponies, chickens and is getting used to his new fields! His favourite things are cuddles and climbing up the curtains 🙈🐈🐱 #AdoptDontShop#animalsindistress#ronweasley#rehomed#kingkitten#hestheboss

Spotted this goose at Willowbrook Park, Staten Island, NY today with a 6 ring plastic can holder around it's neck. While I wanted so badly to intervene and help it I came home and reported it as advised. I wish there was a better way to make sure someone tends to this bird asap. .🦢
Its disappointing considering that this park where the geese, ducks and swan hang out are located right infront of the Park's Department Staff Building. Someone must have seen this bird already. Unfortunately, all staff were gone when I saw him as well and building was closed. .
If anyone has suggestions or more information that can be useful please advise....share...tag away. Feel free to use my report number provided. .
NOW! If you see these plastic rings laying around in the street or park or beach, PLEASE pick them up and rip them apart before tossing away. These rings kill hundreds of animals every year. Do your part to save wildlife and our environment..
India is flooded and animals need your help!
Every year large parts of India receive heavy rainfall affecting thousands of animals who have no place to go. This year is no different. 90% of Kaziranga National Park, Assam was flooded - severely affecting all wildlife there. Here's how you can help! Please donate to the following charities, volunteer for rescue work or just share and like. .

July 30th 2019 - Those who have been following us for a while might remember Mum did some shelter work in Spain last year where she met some super special doggos in need of homes and some of you might already remember this particular super special doggo from a previous post. For everyone else, meet my special friend Brise with the Long Legs!
Brise was found together with his five brothers when they were very young. He was taken care of by a foster family until he was five months old where he then went to the Animals In Distress rescue shelter with 2 of his siblings, the rest were adopted. He still sits there with his brother Bargins waiting for a home.
Brise is an active dog and looking for an active family.
Mum has met Brise and can vouch for him being a brilliant pupper!
Brise has had all the required vaccinations, is microchipped, castrated, had his EU passport and may travel now to his new home.
Location: Pizarra, Malaga, Spain.
Contact: email@example.com or DM me so my Mum can put you in touch with the right people

One of my pawsonal nurses Beth (I have several as I'm special 😊) is doing a skydive for my friends at @animalsindistress. I was there this time last year and they are super lovelly and really care for us pets who find ourselves looking for our new homes 😍. Please follow the link to donate so that they can continue to help animals like me xxx
I have had an unforgettable time as a volunteer in the Animals in Distress shelter in Pizarra, Spain. There live about 40 rescued dogs with their own stories and personalities. As a volunteer your main job is to give them love - because they don't have a home to get cuddles every single day. I felt I did not only give but also I got much love. There was no problem with some of the dogs, but the dealing of others meant challenge. Lot of them was unimaginably scared of people because of a horrible spanish tradition, in which generally the hunters mortify and kill them.
I am very happy that I could work with this nice team (George, Elena and Joe). If somebody wants to help their valuable work can visit this link:
So Gris and I completed our skydive today to raise money in memory of my mum! Perfect weather, awesome experience! We reached our fundraising targets, but it's not too late to donate on our justgiving pages. Thanks for the donations so far.
It feels like we are posting videos or stories about entanglement more and more. Unfortunately they do not all have happy endings of successful rescue stories. Even when entanglements have happy endings, there can be future issues like infection and scarring its not good for the whales and its not good for the fishermen
We at Whale Tales want to help you help the whales. Head over to our "Animals in Distress" resource page to learn about what to do if you see a marine mammal in distress as well as the appropriate numbers to call for assistance
