Tea party planning is in full force over here! My current dilemma is whether to go ‘full mismatched’ and pair teacups with different colored contrasting plates, or to pair cups and plates that are similar in color. Which do you prefer?

Back from NYC! Currently busy catching up on life around the house, work, and making up for leaving miss Lexi Marie. Next up on the to do list: Tea Party Planning (TPP) because November is busy!!! p.s. I recently picked up this cup and I can’t handle how the blue in the roses really pops against those leaves! It’s not very season appropriate but I’m loving it anyways✨.

Here at Free Range Towers, we're really keen to support other Independents or Small Businesses where we can.
We're finally allowed to share a photo of these wonderful Champagne Saucers that were bought from Natasha at @the_urban_vintage_affair. We've had them for nearly 6 months, but were a surprise birthday present for Vic's little sister.
We could not be more pleased with them, and they've gone to a great home.
My Immy turns three today! Being her auntie is one of the best roles I’ve ever been given. I love her for SO many reasons, but I have to say her love for umbrellas and tea parties takes the cake - I think we must share some genes! I’m currently about to hop on a plane to pick her up from school (again) it’s quite a fun errand to run. And then we partayyyy! ✨ Thanks to my sissy and bro-in-law for creating her! 😘 @sarahjoykg@dkam136#imogenjoykg (P.S. there are photos from her being a baby to now in my stories if you want to see more of this cute kid!)

Did you know teapots weren’t the only form of pottery in many British homes in the 19th-century? Hearth spaniels were commonly set on mantels as Victorian-bourgeois status symbols. They were primarily manufactured in Staffordshire from the 1720s and were modeled after King Charles Spaniels. I’ve come across a handful of these during my antiquing adventures and finally picked up a pair for myself, which I placed on my hutch in the office. It’s quite fun having a different form of pottery in the house for a change.
Love this image as it has a great selection showing our Antiques, Vintage and modern handmade items for sale.

International Coffee Day is 1st October,
Today a higher standard of coffee making does exist. Coffee is a ritual to many people, in the mornings especially on the weekends. Far and beyond the just sitting down for a coffee. Some people lay out their coffee for the day in their kitchen. Starting with selection your coffee choice then inhaling the aromas of freshly grinding your roast beans in a vintage coffee mill. A morning coffee ritual is can be part of your self care routine, it's time to stop thinking and be IN the moment when grinding and brewing and inhaling for a good 15 to 20 mins. The whole ritual can allow you to use and awaken all your 5 sences. When drinking is gives you time to reflect and plan and get excited for your day ahead.
In partnership with @dogandhatlove coffee club, our antiques and coffee are for creative minds.

I just found the coolest book and a perfectly coordinating Aynsley teacup. It’s quite a neat resource, full of information for those china lovers among us. With the help of the book and the imprint and backmark on the bottom of the c&s, I know this pretty blue cup was made around 1934! Twas a lucky day✨ #antiquingadventures

It’s up on the website! This tea was amazing, inspired by the GOH’s love of Downton Abbey and a flare of fun vintage character that I drew from the shop she helps run. To see how hosts can add their own vision to the tables was so neat to experience. It was truly beautiful and everyone should visit the website to see more gorgeous photos taken by the gorgeous @taylor_bird ✨ happy birthday, @kristaleemc ♥️ // link in bio! #thewanderingteaparty

A change in plans used to give me loads of anxiety but now not so much. I had so many things written in my planner for today, one of which was to finish the tea post! But sadly I woke up with a bad headache. Hopefully it’ll wear off soon but until then I’ll continue to look at photos of roses deciding which to print and frame.
This is one of my favorite settings from last Friday’s tea. Two different makers, teacup by Tuscan and the plate Aynsley, yet it’s almost like they were designed to be together. Who wouldn’t want to sit down to these pretties?! ✨ | photo: @taylor_bird | #thewanderingteaparty
Its that time where I should re introduced myself to you all and welcome my new Instagram followers.
My name is Tash and I’m the founder of this brand, which to date is 21 months young. I love to source all things antique, desirable and importantly useful. Products that will fit into any modern lifestyle and setting giving the pieces a new and modern and current end use.
I live a busy life in London 🇬🇧 and also work in Fashion 🧵🎩 Love discovering fabulous restaurants, creative workshops, hunting for treasure and spa breaks. However I don’t have time to do this all as I’m actively working on developing this brand.
I’m a fan of supporting independent and thriving new businesses with the mission of collaboration over competition. I support and give to selected charities and am constantly raising awareness towards a more accessible sustainable lifestyle.
With my creative experience, I aim to keep my approach to the brand, fresh and now. Because we're not just an e-tail store, but a lifestyle brand also offering tips, facts, stories and creative inspiration into the world of design and creativity for the 21st century.
Just launched our new story feature by Idette Warburton 'The Affairs of The Goth Kelly' is now on our blog. See link in bio. Have a read of this short story of a the life of a vintage leather suitcase and do share. We love collaborating with creative writers and bloggers.
Life’s a rollercoaster, and it’s amazing what an afternoon off can do. I’m feeling a bit more grounded and even randomly came up with a new idea for a tea room one day - hint: I’ve been watching #thegoldengirls since about noon so they may just be a part of it 🌺🌴 #thewanderingteaparty
I could really use a week off in this cottage in England. Thank you @kflemingantiques for finding this photo, the world is a little bit better knowing a home this idyllic and quaint exists ✨

Craigievar Castle in Scotland is too much to handle. Holding onto this photo to remind myself that winter will come when I can knit, drink tea, and sit under a blanket without overheating ✨

Officially less than a week until I’m back in Charleston with this gleeful smile on my face - that place does something to me ✨ but first a tea in a couple of days! Although I’ve been busy as a bee, I may try to squeeze in a lil ‘treat yo self’ morning at @scottantiquemarkets to decompress because amazingly I’m ahead of schedule. Huzzah!

Pink depression glass always makes me want to smile. Maybe that’s the magic of it and why I am slowly collecting it? Because even when life isn’t full of sunshine, holding something old, delicate, pink and just overall adorable is a special moment to have.

Here’s a lil sneak peek of the Galentine’s Tea Party yesterday! A table covered in blush and gold with plenty of food, sugar doilies, and great company. Oh and mimosas, of course. More to come soon! #wanderingteaparty photo: @taylor_bird

This is one of my favorite bright spots at a local antique mall in Charleston. I’m just trying to pretend we have that sunniness over here in Georgia because it’s yet another dark and gloomy day outside. I’m tired of being housebound tidying and catching up on life. Thinking I may try to squeeze in a quick antiquing trip followed by tea time at home perhaps? Happy Saturday ✨

This is what tea prep often looks like - a collection of settings smushed together on my desk to see if the theme feels cohesive. I don’t just throw cups and plates together willy nilly (well hopefully not because then they’d break lol) but rather I select the right pieces that will complement each other. These were all the settings for the Mad Hatter Tea Party. It was at this moment that I sent the photo to a couple of my friends to see if I myself had gone mad. Starting this process today for one of my events next weekend! 🍄 🎩 🌸 ☕️
