Wife Appreciation Day. Tell me what did you do today to celebrate this important day?!? I added more gold to this clock. Will show it to you tomorrow. And decided that I like simple black with just a touch of gold, so I made another. Crazy me. I thought that it was not enough, and I made one more purple clock! All will be in my shop soon. 🤣🤣🤣

Although life feels like a whirlwind at the moment, I am always thankful for a chance to get outside and paint. Last night was one of the best I have ever experienced out on the Turnagain arm. Being surrounded by beluga whales, mountains and golden light made for the perfect backdrop to paint another seascape painting. Special thanks to @williedalton for taking some rad pics of the experience .
I am very excited to announce that “Halcyon”, my latest collection, will be premiering in October @steamdotcoffee on O’malley. I will keep you all in the loop as the details fall into place! Stay tuned for more.
Yesterday was an extremely LONG day that I'm still recovering from, so today has been a much needed day of self care after weeks of round the clock prepping and art making. I'd like to share a few things I'm so grateful for.
I've reflected a lot on yestersay's event and my heart is so FULL of gratitude for these particular moments...
💞 First one, my husband who put in many hours helping me with my display prep and all the other big and small things he did for me to prepare for the show. ✨
💞The second, my good friend Sue was directly across from me which made the day so much better in the heat and humidity. We laughed, shared life moments, and overall just were present with each other all day. A beautiful friendship between our husbands has now started after spending the day together. It truly was a great day of friendship. (check out her beautiful pottery Sue Bang Pottery)
Third moment of deep gratitude. This one touched me soooo deeply and to my core. This moment is the exact reason I create art and have a healing art service. This friends, is Artfully Healing, and the purpose of my art and my business. In just the right moment, I was able to help two friends let go of some energy that needed to be released. The first two photos show my letting go lantern with the pottery bowl, made by my beautiful and talented friend Sue of Sue Bang Pottery. ❤ Sending your intention of letting go, and placing it in the stone to be released in the water, is such a powerful ritual and act of letting go.
💞 Fourth moment, a young man wandered into my tent and asked me about my art and my story. I was able to share with him why I create, my own creative process, my mission as an artist and my art service. At the end of it he expressed his gratitude and shared how much he needed to hear what I had to say. It was in that moment, I was reminded how important it is to speak out vulnerable truth.
💞 Fifth moment of gratitude, sharing a deep, soulful conversation with my sweet friend, Beth Haas. ✨
So much love and gratitude for each moment. And man, the music was incredible all day! It made my feet move and my heart sing despite the heat and my tired body.

Dreaming the Ideal City... I have a real interest for maps.
Shaping civilization across ages, the myth of the Ideal City reverberates through Western city-form from Plato to these days. His Ideal City is mirrored in the human soul.

Styling art with cats. A how-to:
1. Put art on coffee table
2. Get out phone
3. Cat does whatever cat wants and is jealous it is not the center of your attention
4. Take picture
Happy Sunday everybody! 😅😽
I dropped off two paintings at @beckleyartcenter yesterday for their upcoming juried exhibition. Anxious for Friday’s opening artist reception at 6:00. Even more psyched that I get to bring @pickledirt with me! 🙌
57waves - Pacific Juice.
Outer reefs off Pacific Ocean islands concentrate the power of deep ocean swells as they rise quickly out of deep-sea trenches and explode on shallow coral encrusted reefs. This is a memory of one such wave I encountered in Samoa.
💥Checkout these cool textures!!💥 The late afternoon sun really making them shine! 👉SWIPE for full piece pics---> Did some more work on this 18"×24" multimedia canvas.
Thinking it is very close to finished. Just needs some varnish to really draw out those textures and add a bit more depth to the colors.
I love this little corner of my home! An oldie but a goodie on the wall. But see if you can spot some of my newer work.

⚪I played with photo collage this time✂🎞. I love interior mock ups. It's like creating a mood board around your artwork. Or creating virtual home for your drawing to live 😚🖼🏚
⚪ The drawing is gouache on paper 80 x 60 cm when framed/ 60 x 42 cm unframed.
It consists of 4 separate pieces of paper 30 x 21 cm each

Distorted perspective, exaggerated colour, a story that is part fact and part fiction. I see my role as an artist not as to report what is there but to use that as merely an impetus. This quirky haven is ‘Sonsie Wee Harbour’ 48” x 48” available @westendgallery#paintthetownred
Just made it to Helsinki, it feels so good to be home 😍
I've been living here for 6 years and every time I go away it feels so good to come back home. I got married at 18 and moved here from Saint Petersburg, still can't believe that my parents allowed me that 😅
At first it was all new and exciting but after a while it got very lonely and I got bored. First 6 month in Helsinki I was waiting a residence permit and I had no school or job, so it was quite different from what I used to. I always had school or some sort of daily activities to attend.
Probably most of the people who moved to a different country will get it, it's not that easy and fun as it seems, but I'm glad I did it and now I can call Finland my home and I really enjoy living here. But I have a plan in my mind to move again, maybe in a few years, somewhere warm and sunny, maybe in Europe.
Where are you from? Would you like to move somewhere else?
