One of the most fun bridal bouquets I’ve ever designed! Thank you Siedah & Jon for allowing me the creative freedom to design wedding florals that were so perfectly YOU 🌺😊
P.S. if you recently got engaged and are ready to talk wedding flowers, please inquire through our website or the link in our bio! 💐
Missing these cute summer blooms today! Did you know these flowers grow in many other colors too? Pinks, purples, oranges and yellows are some color variations you’ll see in the Zinnia. What color would YOU pick?! 🌸🌼🌺
I love it when a centerpiece provides just the right touch of elegance on a reception table 😊️

Today I’ll be working on my 2020 vision board! I like using these boards as a creative way to stay focused on my goals throughout the entire year. This method can be used for both business and personal goals!
Have you created your 2020 vision board yet? 🌷🌷🌷
Flowers this season are so vibrant. How about these sweet peas?? 🙌🏻

Along the way, a lot of people have asked me where the name of my business stems from. I knew I wanted it to be one word, meaningful to me and something simple/easy to remember.
I had this verse from Isaiah framed on the wall in my laundry room long before Wellspring Floral was even born. One day, as I was thinking through names (and doing laundry), I glanced up at this verse on the wall. Immediately, I just knew that “Wellspring” had to be it! This word perfectly fit my “criteria” and I felt that it described the joy and sentiment that flowers can give to people. 💐

Up close with Tulips in the sunlight. ........ I’m just experimenting here. Seeing if a video is interesting to anybody. Also experimenting with macro video. Never done that before. . . .
Guess what today is?! #HOUSEPLANTAPPRECIATIONDAY
I know not everyone is blessed with a green thumb, so here’s something that anyone can keep alive. Succulents only need a little 💦 and a lot of ☀️. They are great for any occasion! Just because, get well, birthdays, even Valentine’s Day! (hint hint)🥰😍 Do you have a favorite house plant? Tag us!!
Amnesia roses are one of my favorite standard rose varieties. They are a wonderful “blender” flower for lavender, mauve and dusty pink color palettes. Can’t wait to use them for a wedding later this month!
Double tap if you agree!
We picked up the woof pack this morning after three weeks of being away from them! They sometimes drive me crazy but I sure missed them a lot while we were gone. 🤪
Do you take your pet(s) with you on trips or do you board them/hire a pet-sitter?
You know you love your job as a florist when you’re ready to get back to work again after taking time off 😊️ If you’ve been waiting on an email from me, thank you for your patience- I promise to get back to you real SOON.

Do you see the resemblance to peonies?
Garden roses are the rounder, fluffier alternative to traditional roses, which makes them especially popular for weddings. This soft shape and texture has an undeniably romantic look and the voluminous bloom adds lots of texture to bouquets and centerpieces.
This building brings me all the feels for Tuesday! Stay green!!

Oh these two-toned tulips! I used natural light from the window in my dining room. I placed a dark blue poster board behind them. I aimed a small hand held light straight up and set it on the table in order to light the stem a bit. Then I let the camera do the rest, well I spent some time in Lightroom too. #canon6dmarkii

Happy wedding day to all the couples who are tying the knot on this first weekend of 2020! 🎊
My hubby and I are enjoying a few more days of vacation time before getting back into the swing of things next week. As a small business owner, I’ve been learning that it’s important to take time off to step away for a bit to rest and recharge. It’s actually a similar mindset with designing flowers. You’re very “zoomed in” on the arrangement for a long time and it is important to step away from it to let your eyes and brain rest for a bit before going back to edit the design with fresh eyes.
If you’ve set a date for your 2020 wedding, I’d love to start talking flowers with you soon! Inquire on our website through the link in bio 🌸

A potted plant I have in my front yard. Brought it into my kitchen area to snap some shots of these small little blooms. Placed a black background behind it and adjusted the blinds to get some interesting lighting.

I can plan every tiny detail, every aspect of your big day.
Girl, in case you didn’t know, I can even make your bouquet. 💐
Okay, I know. That was super corny. But you get the point. Floral design is just another box I can check off your list of “to do’s before the I do’s.” Breathtaking Bride: Kelly

Did you get engaged over the holidays and are beginning your search for a wedding venue? First, I’d like to say congratulations!! 💍 Second, I recommend looking for a venue with neutral wall colors like this beautiful reception space @pearlsnaphall. This helps your photographer capture the big moments of your day without anything distracting going on in the background. White walls also help your florals to be the focus of each table in the room without getting lost in an otherwise busy-looking space.
If you want to see more of this space from Chase & Kelsey’s wedding day, head over to our most recent blog post at wellspringfloral.com (link in bio)

As my hubby and I were making our way back to our vacay cottage from the pool today, I had to stop and admire this hibiscus bloom 🌺 Its vibrant colors and delicate details were not created from laziness or comparing itself to others around it. It’s beauty came from growing consistently and diligently each day just as it was made to be.
Some of you may know that I like to choose a word for each year. My past two words were “patience” and “fearless.” Owning a small business requires both of those virtues and I’ve chosen a new word for 2020...”diligence.” The meaning of diligence is doing careful, thorough and persistent work. I hope to be diligent in my business as well as in my personal life and I’m excited to see what God has for me and Wellspring Floral this year.
If you have also chosen a word for 2020, I’d love for you to share it with me! 🌸
P.S. I’ll be back in the studio January 8th. If you’re waiting on an email from me between now and then, your patience is much appreciated 💜
