Freediving and everything connected to it has become an integral part of my life and I feel it will be for a long long time.
This is surprising to me on many levels as I usually get bored of a new sport and/or activity pretty easily. I am probably not the most patient person. A monk in Thailand once told me that "mediation is not for everyone and maybe I should try reading a book or spinning a fire stick around", before sending me away.
Freediving got me though. It feels like sports, meditation, fitness and yoga together, all in one package. For impatient people.
Diving down into dark ocean has become the perfect counterbalance for my work in front of the screen, I consider this to be one of the most effective ways to relax and to be in the present we as humans have available.
I remember how my life was different after coming back to the surface from my first dive and how interesting the relationship between instructor and student his. The instructor gives you that feeling of "I am not alone down there, he/she knows what he/she is doing". I decided to become one of those freediving instructors myself and am absolutely looking forward to guiding breathing, stretching and diving sessions for my future students. Turns out I live in an amazing place to do freediving - Montenegro! For some reason there is no school or teachers yet. That had to change!
Proud to present freedivebootcamp.com (link in bio), the first freediving school in Montenegro.
Hope I'll see some of you in Montenegro soon, in the water, taking that deep relaxed breath that gets you down in to the deep blue,
Feel free to hit me up with any questions you might have!

Can anybody in the UK (or Europe) offer 9 month old Mimi (10kg) a foster or adoption place?
Mimi is currently in Balkans near Greece and her travel to the UK or Europe would be funded. Mimi has paralysed back legs due to a severe spine injury after being hit by a car but she has got some feeling in her back legs and tail.
The prognosis is that she wont be able to walk again but there is a chance with physio and / or hydrotherapy that she will be able to. The costs for this and a thorough examination of her spine would also be covered.
She is currently incontinent but with nappies / expression this is easily manageable. If she cannot walk again a wheelchair for her would be funded. Mimi is great with other dogs and just wants someone to love her 💜🐾
Can you believe February's drawing to an end? 🤯
Anywaaay GUYS! I got my chair! I swear it's just a regular Eames chair but it makes me so freakin happy! It's grey, has an armrest, and supports my bum so very well 😂
I've been putting off my room makeover plans since 2 years ago, but as part of my 12things30 project, I finally decided to do it this year. I've repainted it, got rid of shabby furniture, cleaned and organized 15 years worth of papers (and diaries haha), put the books out of the storage into a decent shelf (major dream come true 😆), bought a new table... and my chair! It's still ongoing (hello budget) but I'm so glad I've started it. It's just a matter of time! Just need some lovely plants and photos on the walls then I think I'm done ☺️
PS. Just a reminder, Pinterest is a trap
PPS. I'm more excited about the chair than my visa getting approved for 1 year 😜 still very grateful for that
