Studies show that many Americans racked up more than $1000 in holiday shopping debt in 2018.
If using credit cards while holiday shopping, use your credit cards to earn cash back or points, and pay off your debt before the next billing cycle.
Or take cash only when shopping and once the cash is gone, the shopping is over ☺️ If you don’t have the extra cash this holiday season, give your loved ones sentimental gifts. (DIY)
Comment below how do you plan on not going into holiday debt this Christmas season 🌲

When people use the term " no filter " now a days. I secretly smerk, so not to offend. But I can tell the phrase has obviously changed or better yet evolved......But let me tell you what it meant back in my time for whatever it's worth to you.
No filter, meant authentic. Something you're clearly not. No filter meant I don't care who likes me. Your generation " incredibly " even pays for " likes ". We got people with more followers then $$$ in their bank account acting boshy. And you hash tagging no filter ? My no filter stays the same for me. I'm not here to be liked by all. That actually was once a curse I lived with. I'm here to be loved by a few. I'm not here trace every step that I take. I'm here to value every precious moment I make. And I'm not here to meet anyone's expectations but mines. That's why I stay on my grind. ~C-Note
Post when you bought you first house. Your dream car. You took your dream trip.....I love to see people winning !!! Don't worry about me.....God and me to this......It's been an amazing year for me and those around me. We did everything I envisioned that we could be.....God isn't good.....God is great
Have a blessed day all 🙏

One of my favorite memories as a child was the day that my dad took me to the bank to open my very own savings account. Nerdy? Sure. But being initiated into the adult world of banking made me feel very mature at the ripe age of 7. From that point on, I filled out a deposit slip every time I went to the bank (my parents would not do it for me), so I was intimately familiar with the process.
Do your kids get cash at Christmas? Instead of taking them to the nearest store, consider teaching them to save that money so they can use for another purchase later (or if they're like me, to have a good start on savings as a college student. Told ya, I was a nerd). If you want to make it a gift, add your own contribution to get their savings jumpstarted. Best of all, you can review monthly statements together to teach your child how to review them, and the joy of interest payments (which aren't great these days, but a penny is a penny). Do your kids already have their own bank account? If yes, do they make their own deposits? If not, what do you think about getting them started? .
. . .
If you own a house, consider refinancing your home to save money. By refinancing the remaining balance that you owe on your house, you can enjoy a lower interest rate than what you were originally paying.
The holiday shopping season is upon us! Are you (and your finances) ready? ⠀
Here are a few easy tips to avoid stress in this season of giving - and spending! ⠀
🎁 Put a Budget in Place: Figure out what you can spend, before you start spending! ⠀
🎁 Set Expectations: Set clear expectations with friends and family - especially your children. It's important to discuss reasonable and affordable gift-giving options ahead of time. ⠀
🎁 Create a Gift List: Decide who's getting what, and write it down. This will help control impulse purchases while shopping and keep you on track! ⠀
🎁 Keep Track of Purchases: Keep reciepts and record your purchases to ensure you're staying within budget. ⠀

Who else just loves giving Christmas presents?! ⠀
It is so exciting to watch others receive gifts they have been asking for. But is there such thing as going overboard on gift-giving? ⠀
According to a Gallup study, American adults projected to spend approximately $920 on gifts per person, up from $885 per person last year, with total holiday spending exceeding $1 trillion nationwide.⠀
We REALLY love buying others gifts! ⠀
Helpful tip: Even though you may want to spoil all of your children with tons of toys this year, you and your spouse may want to talk over a budget for each kid before spending tons of money this year. That way it is fair for each kid and you stay within budget. ⠀
