Photos should not be always cute; from time to time, it is nice so see something different.
What were you thinking when you were at the beginning of your journey in this “beautiful” business? Probably the same as me. That it is wonderful here, all of us are like one big family, colleagues that are ready to help each other, communicating. But is it so?
First thing that I encountered was aggression. Analysing I understand, that this aggression was probably a result of fear. I was standing out and people who considered themselves already a “star” didn’t like it. Therefore, attacks began. People tried to “break” me, force emotional reactions, and prejudice others against me. Yes, this happened. They tried to interfere in my development, because I was stepping on their territory. Can you consider such individuals to be professionals? Obviously not. I was always fascinated how such people have enough time to track what everyone else is doing. Think through and play dirty tricks. Is it worth the time?
Second. “Friendships”. I have heard tons of interesting stories throughout my practice. However, I always found stunning peoples’ ability to pretend as if nothing happened. Or being friends until it was beneficial. Also a very interesting option. I do have people that I am friends with, but their number is very limited.
Third. Teaching and business trips. Oh, a dream of many. They have travelled and educated in order to be invited. Pure fairy-tale. I am going to tell you a little secret. Everything in these trips depends on the organiser. They create overall atmosphere of the course and even your first impression about the country/city. I have organisers in my list that I will NEVER go to again, and some who I am always happy to visit.
We had the privilege to spend a day with our beautiful friend and model; Mercy. Blessed with perfect weather, the shoot was a breeze. Pun intended.
