Lean into every phase of life, each one has something different to offer you. And when it’s gone something new will replace it, but you will never get it back. .
In a strange transitional time, living out of packing boxes and every day is a guess. My Love has been working out of town and some days feel heavy. However, I am trying to enjoy the little moments, and grow from the lonely ones. Soaking up the here and now while dreaming of the future. .
Today, I had the absolute honor of speaking in front of a fantastic group of moms at @downtownhopemops
I went to serve and teach but instead left feeling so encouraged myself by all the fiercely strong women I met.
I was so touched by a few stories and met what felt like my long lost twin. All in less than a two hour period. The warmth and welcoming spirit of this place will be hard to forget.
This is why I do what I do. I get the absolute privilege to walk along side and live life with people. The blessing that is what I get do never ceases to amaze me. The connections I have the honor of making everywhere I go, all the different versions of beautiful I get to meet...
We talked about decision fatigue and quieting the never ending noise that is motherhood so we can be more present.
Thank you for opening your group to me. I absolutely plan on crashing it again soon if you’ll have me! #healthandwellnesscoach#holisticnurse#holisticnursecoach#nursecoach#entreprenurse#connection#bepresent#mindfulness#healingjourney#hashimotos#autoimmunedisease#lymedisease#holistichealth
••• Be mindful of being PRESENT. Be PRESENT. Be persistent. •••
Someone said to be PRESENT in what you're doing in the now. Most of the the time we worry about what to do later in the day or what your next few days. But it's not what you're doing later in the day or a couple days from now. Focus on now. Whether it's work related or your personal life related. I like to take 'BE PRESENT' into my workout life as well. It not only pushes me towards my goals but I know it's good for me. A huge thank you to @melissamade for putting it out there for me. #bepresent
Pause for a moment.
Stop scrolling. Close your eyes and take a deep breath.
Calm your mind just for a moment.
It’s always running at high speed. Thinking about what you need to do, what you didn’t do, and doubting your ability to have it all (or any of it period.)
Stress is real. Struggle is real.
You’ve been through the ringer and you’ve been fighting your way through it. You’ve come so damn far. You’ve already achieved so much.
But you find yourself getting caught up in thinking it’s never enough!
I am all for DREAMING BIG and creating a life you’re in love with. In fact, it’s how this business of mine came to fruition. It’s how I’ve had the honor to touch so many lives and how so many have touched mine. 💜
But we need to stop for a moment and take a look around and more importantly WITHIN.
Look at how far you’ve come! Look at the things happening in your life that you once DREAMED of! See yourself from the eyes of compassion, admiration, and inspiration. Because that’s how I see you.
Take a moment. Take it all in. And then let that feeling, that gratitude, that inspiration drive you forward.
Ok, I’ll admit it: I’m one of those mindless scrollers at times!! Im not proud of it, but sometimes the IG stories, the TikToks, Snapchat, Pinterest they just suck you in!! I maybe need to be on my phone a little less, and be more present/productive in my everyday life....although it would be hard to give up. ESPECIALLY because I use my phone for my businesses (yeah I got a few) by connecting with customers and potential #tribe members.
How long could go without your phone??
we fail you, not by fault of our senses,
or the eyes which do the seeing,
for they work perfectly in that
they see what can be seen;
its that light which we cannot see
is not meant to be seen, but rather felt,
such as the warm embrace of the sun
around your soul
through the eyes of our soul
we can see this presence
exists all around us,
we just need to get out of our way
such as the sunbeam which illuminates
the surface of the moon, but only if
the moon has a clear path to the sun
for the sun does not seek
it is you who must present yourself
to the Sun, if you wish
to be illuminated, and exclaim,
“here I am”

Day 5: #spinaltwist | I am listening and I will shift slowly. I will go slow and not rush my day. I will simply enjoy the moment.💙
❄ This was a hard mantra today, as I lost 2-hrs due to a "snow" delay for my kid's schools!! So it was a great reminder to stay present & not rush!! 🧘♀️

Yoga is for any “body” and it belongs to far beyond the young and flexible. This week we will share and encourage “Restorative Yin” practice. It’s a peaceful and soothing practice that compliments breath, blends with any style yoga, and sport. It establishes the deepest connections with our physical body such as benefiting our connective tissues , balancing internal organs and improving joint mobility, and calming the mind by reducing stress and anxiety. So with this being said, let’s favor health and practice YIN, a healing medicine from the tips of our toes to the crown of our heads.
Please share with us your day after practice or during the pose. Enjoy and have fun!
Daily Yin Restorative Poses: Props welcome and holding the poses 1-3 minutes in stillness. Find your edge and never stretching as far to cause pain.
1. Forward fold - I am safe
Be gentle softening your knees. Never bring force or threaten your sense of well being.💗 2. Dragon fly /Dragon- I am supported and stable
Look in front of you, close your eyes and find refuge.💙 3. Malasana/Squat - I am grounded
Value stimulation, close your eyes and turn away the outside world, focus within.🖤
4. Pigeon- I am content.
Be patient it takes time to release or break the waves to life. Take comfort there is nowhere to go.💗 5. Spinal twist- I am listening and I will shift slowly.
I will go slow and not rush my day. I will simply enjoy the moment.💙

But going forward, I have decided this week, that it's a #lifestyle , and there are a few things that I have been slacking in regards about changes in my habits.
I am planning on getting moving and spending less time on my phone and more quality time spent with myself, preparing meals and one on one time with my son.
The other shocker, after my mother has moved here with us, is that, I am distracted, and its affecting my time with my son, so I am deciding this has to change and being more present with you Theo as I move in a new direction.
My mother's health has been quite a change since she has come to Alberta and got a doctor right away. They have been so efficient in getting a new baseline and on some medication that she has needed. Her quality of life has leveled up and she is more happy now that she is spending time with Theo and I. She doesnt have to worry as much and has such an amazing support, she can just enjoy her life.
This has made me reflect on a few things: that my health is important for myself and my family, nothing is guaranteed and be more present. Being present with children is an absolute blessing for both, and let's be honest it keeps us young.
That time keeps passing, and you need to appreciate the people you have in your life cause things can change so quickly. And your health is not always guaranteed, or take for granted.
I am blessed I was able to get my mother life insurance before she was diagnosed with COPD , or before her symptoms get worse. To leave a legacy for myself and my brother, for her to enjoy life not stressing. Time with her grandson and not waiting another 5 years until she sees him again.
It’s so easy to get lost in musing over what happened in the past. To some degree we can learn from it and move forward with better decisions but at some point, we need to leave it in the past so that we can fully move forward. Live in the present.

🎶 sound on 🎶
My life is a blooper reel 🎥. Feeling good, may be snowing and blowing but the temperatures warmed up!.... and bam, back into a tree! 🤣
Be present and not in the conversations, fantasies and expectations of your mind. That is a road to miscommunication and pain.

One thing I’m guilty of is not looking back and acknowledging where I was and what I’ve accomplished. I’m usually focused on the next thing and telling myself to do more instead of reminding myself how far I’ve come. This can be counterproductive because you begin to forget what you’re capable of 👎🏼
Don’t let your anxiety or other factors get in the way of you stopping to appreciate and actually enjoy the journey. I don’t believe life is meant to be just checking off the boxes and onto the next thing but enjoyed with good company and moving towards your vision of happiness and success.
Embrace your struggles, endure the pain and let your resilience guide you. You’re stronger than you think 🕊

Why am I doing the same things everyday? Why am I thinking the same thoughts? Why am I feeling the same emotions? Why am I in this little bubble ...this little box that I’ve kept myself in?⠀
It's because people tend to be unaware that they can get out of the mental constructs ...out of the mental reasoning ...and into experiencing life. This life truly is completely new every single moment.⠀
Dying to the past is about realizing you’re new every moment!!!! Living in the past is all about labels, mental constructs and repetition. ⠀
Instead, experience life just for what it is ...without mental labels and from a level of presence. Live life in the Now, and you'll truly die to the past once and for all.
I’m going to keep this one real brief because it’s Friday night and me and the hubby are listening to Chilly Gonzales and making some fries.
So I’m just going to stay here in this sweet moment and let you know that tomorrow I have a big promise to keep.
My initial plan with this account was to post first thing in the morning, and it’s obvious that that hasn’t caught on just yet. Hah.
So!! I’m going to keep this one real sweet and simple. Tomorrow I promise to share my promise before noon. I also promise to keep my sense of humour throughout this process. 😂 I can be silly sometimes.
Have a great Friday evening everybody. Big love to you all.
With love and vulnerability,
Just know that this post applies to you even if you aren’t experiencing grief. Bc it could happen to anyone at any time. Appreciate the small moments and flavors and things you love to do for yourself and with and for your person. Pizza dough did this exact thing to me just the other day! Bc my friend loved to make his own pizzas. Posted @withregram • @hopeliveshere_ Have you ever been on the Rockin’ Roller Coaster in Orlando? If you haven’t, all you need to know is this: it’s a roller coaster, inside of a building, •in the dark•. It is filled with twists, turns, and sudden drops that you can’t see coming. With no way to anticipate the ride, the experience is a nail-biter.
Minus the upbeat Aerosmith soundtrack and quick trip, this is very much what life feels like when someone you love is plucked from it. You have no idea where you are on the ride, can’t mentally prepare yourself for what lies ahead, and therefore can’t brace yourself for the sudden jerks and falls. You are at the mercy of the cart; since you can’t control it, the best you can do is endure it.
Grief—especially fresh grief—feels much like that roller coaster ride. One minute you can feel safe, thinking “Hey, I’ve got this,”; next, a sudden drop or turn unsteadies you, triggering the agony you were sure you’d learned to manage. Simple things like a trip to the grocery store can prompt an unexpected memory, cuing the heartache and waterworks. I have literally left a store because I didn’t want to lose it in public, again, and have people wonder why. Because how do you explain to them that something as benign as a tomato set you off?
So here’s to all of us who bravely face each day, not knowing where the grief landmines lay. Someday that tomato will JUST be a tomato 🍅 . Until then, we have each other to lean on. Because together, we can get through ♥️ _____________________________________________ #grief#griefrecovery#griefquotes#hope#hopeliveshere#hopeliveshere 💛 #cope#coping#heal#healing#loss#missingyou#youcandoit#loveandloss#togetherwerise#truth 💯 #bepresent#bereavement#bereavementsupport#imissyou#loss#lossofalovedone#griefandloss#lifeafterloss#griefjourney
You could probably go through your bedtime routine with your eyes closed!Try taking control of those simple, routine moments throughout the day and be present.

✨ "𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞.” -𝐉𝐢𝐦 𝐄𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐭 ✨
Do you remember when multi tasking was a thing to brag about? When doing 45 things at once made you better than everyone else applying for that job or a better Mom since you could be everywhere at once.
I do. I fully bought in.
I was a multitasking expert. I could answer the phone, create a spreadsheet, plan a work event, get my kid a snack and solve world peace simultaneously and in 30 mins flat.
𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞.
I wound up making mistakes, focusing way to much on my to-do list (as opposed to how I was feeling) and ultimately, not connecting with my friends and family anymore because I had forgotten how to be 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐓.
𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇-𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒉 𝒊𝒔 𝒅𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒚 𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒄𝒌 𝒐𝒇𝒇 𝒂 𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒕, 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆.
You forget that allowing yourself to be fully absorbed in those everyday, special moments one at a time IS life, exactly how it's meant to be.
P.S. I just enjoyed a bathroom dance party with my 4 year old & husband to Boom Shack-a-lak and was fully present. 🥳 I'm gonna be ok.
When you’re done feeling sad and want to reach for a better feeling thought - well here’s some:
• ..It must be part of a divine plan..
• Everything is working out for me
(even if it doesn’t seem like it now..)
• The Universe is ALWAYS on my side (and on love’s side)
• Love always wins
• I am loved and I AM love..
• things will get better (they always get better!)
• Everything is happening for a reason (FOR me not TO me)
What would you add??💖
I just want to thank all of you for being here. Every single one of you. Whether you were looking for my writing or my writing found you, whether you’re in the eastern or the Western Hemisphere, whether you’re going through a season full of light or you’re in a season where you’re just trying to hold on, thank you so much for being here with me.💛 .
I once told a friend that you should always be kind, you should do your best to be a source of warmth, show a little grace... It took me years to realize why exactly I truly believed it:
You just never know who needs your kindness the most.
We all make mistakes, get frustrated, and let things get to us. And I’ll be the first to raise my hand and say I’m very far from perfect from being kind all the time.🙋🏼♀️ But... I’m trying. And I think at the end of the day, if we’re trying our best to be a light, well... I think it’s all worth it then.💛
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being here. Sending love and light to wherever you are right now.☺️💛
"It's a commitment to meditate daily. It is a discipline. It is holy work. It is everything.
When I take the time to connect to my soul, slow down my breath, and connect to this beautiful heart of mine, the hard bits of my day are much easier to get through. The grind of life is balanced with the sound current of my soul. The vibration coming from me is clear and unencumbered by the chatter of my mind.
Life is not easy. These are challenging times that we live in. Things are moving quickly and if we don't stop and gather ourselves we will get swept away into the rat race. No one wins the rat race—no one." @carrieannemoss
