Fly Back, Agnes by Elizabeth Atkinson
It's snowing!! And the snow is sticking! Which is SO exciting!! I love snow! 🥀
ALSO,, I recieved a copy of this book by @booksparks so a big thanks to them! Fly Back, Agnes is about a 12 year old girl named Agnes, who during the summer is having to stay in a whole new state, far away from her regular life. So she decides to change everything about herself, including her name. It's such a cute concept and I'm excited to read it! It comes out March 3rd!!! 🥀 (I don't know why I chose this emoji of all emojis but I did) #bookshark#books#bookmarks#savethebees#bookshelf#book#TBR#bookstagram#bookmark#booksofinstagram#bookish
I absolutely adore when I get photos back of my journals out in the world. Tonight, I got this 🥰 Debi loved the gift wrap and tag I made so much that she turned the string and tag into a bookmark to use in her new journal!
This is so cool and honestly I never would have thought about doing that but now I'm obsessed!!😍 Thank you, Debi, I hope your birthday was as fantastic as you are 😊
Two posts in a day? Am I crazy? No. Today's been a good day, I guess you can say. Siege and Storm is what I'm currently listening to on Audible. I don't know if it's just me, but is the Shadow and Bone trilogy kind of not as spectacular as you thought it was going to be too? To me its just ok. Sorry for all those that just got triggered reading that lol.
Also this is the first book I've ever made with watercolor😅.
° #QOTD What is an unpopular opinion you have on a book or series?
I love to read. I didn’t always - I didn’t become a “serious reader” until my 30s. Because of that, I missed out on a lot of books people read as kids or growing up. This is definitely one. I’ve barely scratched the surface of Dune, but I’m definitely digging it. Already feeling immersed in the world. I’m excited to finish it!
I’ve been to hundreds of shows thru the years, and I have always tried to get real tickets and to save them. And it turns out they make great book marks! This gem is from the @rxbanditsofficial “farewell tour” from 2011. They are absolutely in my top 5 bands ever, definitely one of the best live bands I have ever seen. Thankfully they didn’t go away for long back then, but they are as far as I know on another hiatus or break (even tho they played a show down in LA in January), but I’m still holding out hope for another tour and maybe (oh please oh please!!!) a new record someday? 😁
One of my goals this year was to post something every day. I don’t think I expected it to be quite this hard. I mean, sometimes I just don’t have anything to say or show and recycling posts seems like cheating. That leads me to scour #lightroom looking for something I didn’t post. Which is where I found this bookmark. I really love how it came out ❤️
#currentlyreading Find Me by @tahereh. Actually found a tiny bit of down time to read at work yesterday (it’s been sooo busy this year), but I forgot my bookmark so I used one of our Ticketmaster envelopes that I ruined with notes on the opposite side. 🤫 Anyway, Kenji is my favorite Shatter Me character so these novellas are a joy!!
The first thing that catch my attention about this book is.. the cover!! Its deadly gorgeous for me 🥰
The second is the title. Since I have interest in plants and gardening, the title is really tempted me to get the copy.
Misalnya, taman X isinya tanaman beracun semua, taman Y isinya tanaman penghasil parfum semua, and so and so…
But how ever.. this book is still unique.
Baiklah.. Jadi secara keseluruhan saya ngasih 3.5/5⭐️ How about you guys? What do you think? Please let me know 😊
Do you like simple candles or ones filled with extra fun (glitter, wax melts, colour!)?
I’m sure you can tell, I go TOTALLY EXTTA with my candles! Which is why @magicscentsations is totally my aesthetic 😍 they definitely do have simpler candles if that’s more your thing, but I always go for the ones that scream “extra”. Pictured here is the ‘Unicorn Barf’ candle and it’s one of my favs ever 🦄 not only am I a total unicorn lover, but the scent description on this is “if unicorns drank sparkling wine, this is what it would smell like”. Isn’t that the greatest?! Tbh one glass of sparkling wine ensures I’m on the floor hysterically laughing and unable to walk, but hey, that in itself is a glamorous aesthetic 😂 you can use my code GABBY15 on your orders over at @magicscentsations - and trust me, you’ll want to check out their amazing creations 😍 while you’re there, check out some of the sneak peeks into March releases!!
Also featured are the gorgeous rainbow mini bookmarks from @bibliophileletters - there’s sooo many colours, aesthetics and fandoms to choose from, all in gorgeous colour sets that’ll make you want to buy them all 😍 definitely check out Melodies store if you haven’t already!!

I.. don't even know where to start with this one.
I'VE GROWN SO ATTACHED TO THESE CHARACTERS AND I'M TRYING SO HARD NOT TO CRY RIGHT NOW so bear with me if I sound a little emotional.
synopsis: after Benjamin comes out to their parents as non-binary, they kick them out. The only person they can think to call is their long-estranged sister who left home 10 years ago and who they haven't heard from since.
Their journey to self-discovery starts from there.
Among the many important subjects discussed in the book are: mental-health, what it means to be non-binary, how hard it is to come to terms with who you are when you're constantly scared of being rejected, and what it feels like to fall in love for the first time and have it scare the living shit out of you!
Things I loved:
-The relationship between Benjamin and Nathan, despite them being completely platonic (because these idiots can't admit they're head over-heels for each other) was so fucking adorable. I love how the notion of them holding hands and being physically affectionate was so normalized, LIKE FUCK YEAH.
GENDER NORMS WHO? WE👏🏻 DON'T 👏🏻 KNOW 👏🏻 HER 👏🏻
-I loved how real Benjamin seemed for someone who just went through something completely traumatic. In most books the issue is quickly put away and often not addressed until later, and we usually don't see any permanent effect on the character, and I got so used to it that at some point I thought "why's Benjamin so quiet and isolated and refuses to just tell people how they feel?" and then realized, well, their entire life just got turned upside down so it only seems reasonable. And that just felt so real and raw.
-OH AND we got a badass non-binary Muslim in the book AND THEY'RE A GODDAMN ICON.
As @beckyalbertalli said: "this book will save lives."
It's gonna be important to so many people, and it sucks that books like these are rarely written or discussed, but @mason_deaver created something for the ages, and many people are gonna be so thankful to them after seeing themselves represented in this.
AND it was so wholesome and informative AND FUNNY!
EVERYBODY GO READ THIS RN!
Hi everyone! 🦊🧡 @lyrical_fox shop will be reopening THIS WEEKEND (Friday-Sunday) with past bookmarks that won’t be returning in March! The March merch won’t be available during this sale but you can look forward to the new merch on March 1! Make sure to grab some of these bookmarks before they are gone forever!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #gothandliterature | This was yesterday’s prompt but I’m posting it today😈
I feel like Kell and Rhy are the ultimate bromance because they’re practically brothers but not really??
So I got the audiobook for the raven boys on Libby and I can finally change the speed! So far I’m kind of obsessed with it
What are you guys reading? I’m still working on the dragon republic and the starless sea 😪 I need more time in the day
idk about you guys but it’s been so rainy where I live and it’s making me exhausted. SOS. Send coffee
