🌾 Oats are a versatile food that can be made in many ways, and carry a range of benefits!
➕ For those who are macro counting, oats are predominantly carbs. You’ll be pleasantly surprised to find out that a 50g serving of rolled oats also carries 6.7g of protein! It might not seem like much - but when your method coach sets your targets, you’ll often find out that you need to find sneaky ways to get in your protein! Impressively, this serving size also provides 5g of dietary fibre too.
We’re all about variety, so we came up with 4 different ways to enjoy this nutritional powerhouse!
• 🥄 PORRIDGE
We recommend using ‘rolled oats’ instead of instant oats. Rolled takes a little longer to cook than instant (aptly named). Rolled oats are closer to their original form, carrying more nutritional benefits.
@whoop and @willahmed just launched their #whoop 3.0 this year and come along with some new colors too 🤙🏻 whoop is a strain / recovery management tool with some cool aspects and as usual also with some shortcomings. It measures cardiovascular strain 24/7 and your recovery via resting heart rate, heart rate variability and sleep performance during night. So it can possibly show you how prepared you are for the day. It measures HRV during the last 5 minutes of your slow wave sleep and strain on a non linear scale from 0-21. 21 means that you need to be on your maximum heart rate for 24 hours - which is just not possible 😉. So no one ever reached that unicorn number 😂.——————————————————————-—PROS: - comfortable to wear 24/7 - 4 day battery life - no need to take it off for charging (battery pack) - well designed app - good enough heart rate tracking for cardio sports -impressive sleep tracking - nice community features - easy to understand numbers - very motivating ecosystem (strain vs. Recovery) - accurate at Rest heart rate tracking from wrist - helps to better understand your body and establish healthy behavior over time - impressive little buddy for the „whole picture“. - new strain coach (live workout strain) - sleep coach (tells you how much sleep you need and when) - accurate Nap tracking ————————————————————————
