I’ve really been digging @hungryroot lately! I had some odds and ends leftover from my last delivery so I did a mini shop to supplement it. For dinner, I spiralized a zucchini and mixed it with their Thai peanut sauce and topped with their hot smoked salmon. No joke, 4 #smartpoints dinner in under 5 minutes! Easy peasy! 🥒🥜🐟 For those not familiar with Hungryroot, it’s a plant-forward, meal delivery service that sends you prepped components & sauces you can mix and match to create clean, delicious, healthy meals in about 10 mins. It’s been a nice break from cooking everything from scratch and I’m really looking forward to my next delivery! Our truffle hunters are now harvesting excellent quality Burgundy/Chatin Truffles!! Our Burgundy Truffles are available from September through December. Our experienced truffle hunters harvest them from the hazelnut, oak, chestnut, hornbeam and black pine tree forests of Central/Northeastern France and Central Italy. This truffle has a dark black, highly faceted, skin – and its flesh is coffee-colored with white veins.
Our Burgundy Truffles offer a unique, earthy, aroma and they have flavors of roasted corn and hazelnut.
We like to pair them with meat, rice and pasta dishes, eggs, pâtés, stuffings, salads or as a finishing garnish for sauces.

I definitely have a serious taco sous chef. She’s been making tortillas with me for a few years now. Tonight we went with flour, using the recipe in @EnriqueOlveraf cookbook.

It really feels like there’s a movement away from mass production and cheapness and the race to the bottom mentality and were continually barreling toward an abundance of quality handmade products that people can truly enjoy and love and appreciate. I’m so glad to be a have my small part in that movement.
