In the early 20th century, the politics and civil wars of Republican China were the products of the international situation as Imperialist Powers had interacted with the different parties in China. Japan and Soviet were the active forces to directly and roundly intervene in Northeast Asia in that period.
Zhang zuo-lin's control of Manchuria was sandwiched by powerful and potentially aggressive neighbours. The international situation in Northeast Asia shaped the strategic of Fengtian Clique. Zhang also believed that the Clique’s position in the Three Northeastern Provinces would not be secured unless he controlled a central government in Beijing. For the purpose of realizing his ambition and defending Manchuria against Japanese and Soviet encroachment, Zhang had to launch offensives into North China and even China Proper.
From 1924 to 1928, Zhang rose from the Inspector General to the new master of Peking government. However, when Zhang became more deeply involved with the Anti-Bolshevik wars to control the central government from 1925 onwards, such development might provide a stronger deterrence against both the Soviet and the Japanese government. Faced by the internal and external challenges, Zhang decided to return to Mukden for another comeback but was killed by infuriated Kwantung officers. The case of Zhang Zuo-lin showed that the politics of the Republic of China were in the gorge of revolution and unity and in a complex international environment, especially among the neighbouring powers of Japan and Soviet.

I bought my first stock a few days ago, and it was Samsung Electronics. I didn't buy it only because I'm South Korean. For my first stock, I wanted to buy a healthy South Korean stock. And Samsung was the first one that popped up in my mind for a few reasons.
First of all, I assume that most people know about Samsung. At least, they have seen its products. Research says the company's sales of smartphones and TV accounted for more than 20% and 30%, respectively, in the global market in Q3 2019. More specifically, it sells the most smartphones and TVs than any other company. That alone is worth investing in.
Furthermore, Samsung is more than just a giant conglomerate. It is the backbone of the South Korean economy, which is the 4th biggest in Asia. For example, the company's 2017 revenue of $224.2 billion accounted for 14.6% of the country's GDP. Even the "Republic of Samsung" is a nickname of the country. So, I just can't think of any other Korean company more stable than Samsung.
Lastly, I'm just a fan of Samsung products. Maybe it's just because I don't get how Apple products work, but I've always just used Samsung. So, deep down, I just wish more people would use it. That would make me look cooler.
So, for these reasons, I chose Samsung Electronics as my first "safe," "healthy" stock. And I think the company will easily meet my expectations for a long time.

At the beginning of the 20th century, when Chinese students began to travel abroad and return home, the fashion for red wedding dresses slowly started to go away . The fashion for the West begins .
The fashion for Western is growing every day - in all major cities, people get married only in a long white dress (5-6 m), a bouquet appears! Men in formal tuxedos and white gloves. Witnesses appear - now they, too, must dress in the Western style.

Zhongliao Village (中廖村) is among 7 Sanya villages named National Forest Villages. As an ancient home to the ethnic Li people, this is a garden-like village featuring countryside scenery and Li ethnic culture.
You can explore the natural surroundings by bicycle. Seeing the area by bike provides a soothing experience. Paths are surrounded by fully grown coconut trees, betel nut trees and charming Li ethnic farmhouses and courtyards.
Riverboat cruises in Hong Kong. Although the lights and boats look primo, there’s a definite underbelly to these tours. Of course with the focus on capitalism and profitability.
During the day the harbour is a contrast; it’s polluted and disgusting. At night because it’s dark - you don’t see it, masked with the lights and sounds. It’s easy to take pictures and selfies without a care, when you just focus on the pretty and entertaining and don’t think about the environment and sustainability.
I’m not blameless, but in my defence I had a pre-booked my Asia tour package, and I don’t remember much of this tour, being as sick as I was. Since it was 2015, I still would have probably gone, but not me in 2020.

You never really know a person until you travel with them.
Over the years I have found myself with many different travel companions. Our situations have ranged from super fun to uncomfortably tense. I never thought that these two would end up in my top favorites.
They are ready to go at any time. They will eat whatever. They can carry and keep up with their own things. They go with the flow. And as you can see, they like a good photo.
Current situation in China another time proves that how life itself is unpredictable. You always have to be ready for changes. You need to accept that something can work not as you imagined or expected and adapt yourself in another circumstance in both - life and business.
Don’t postpone. Don’t say next time I will do it. Next time will not come soon.
Enjoy the moment. Don’t reckon that you can return and do it all over again.
And be grateful for today!
Rainy day in one of the most breathtaking parts of the globe: Zhangjiajie, China.📍
From the floating Avatar Mountains, to this deep-turquoise lake surrounded by wild forested hills, Zhangjiajie was packed with landscapes that looked straight out of a sci-fi movie. 👌🏼
The boat trip through this lake was so peaceful and jaw-dropping, that when @destinationchaser and I arrived back at the dock, we begged the captain to let us stay on the boat and drive around the lake a second time. 😆🙌🏼

I love how these towers in the Shanghai skyline mimic the natural red-rock towers of Sedona from my photo yesterday. 🏜🌇 Go Check it out to compare the two!
Which scene is more your style: mountain skylines or city skylines?

We’ve been back in Shanghai for a week now. For the first couple of days I was feeling anxious and second guessing if we really made the right decision in returning. There was (and still is) so much panic and fear being spread around, it was impossible not to be affected. Then I stopped watching and reading the majority of news and comments on WeChat, TV and online.
Now I feel optimistic. I feel calm. I stay focused on facts from solid reliable sources and keep a close eye on statements and recommendations from the Nordic region and my own government, which I find to have a very rational approach to the situation. .
I also see more and more people returning to Shanghai. More people are out in the streets (altho it’s still very quiet compared to normal). More businesses, shops and restaurants are reopening. Many grocery stores have been open all along, and @epermarket deserves a medal for battling through this entire period with incredible service and communication. 🏅
The extended Chinese New Year holiday has now ended, but schools remain closed and most companies are urging employees to work from home for another week or two, so it will take some time before life here looks normal again. Temperature checks have been implemented everywhere, and everyone is going to extreme lengths to stay safe. .
Remains to be seen what happens next, but I feel positive and hopeful. We got this, #加油中国 💪

Xuedou temple, located in the xuedou mountain in Zhejiang, Ningbo since A.D. 300. The Xuedou moutain belongs to the five most famous buddhist mountains in China.
During the widespread of Indian Buddhism into China, Maitreya Buddha was portrayed as an image of a Chinese monk with a chest and a naked belly and a smiling mouth, and was worshipped by Chinese believers over the years. This is a reflection of the integration of foreign cultures in Chinese traditional beliefs. The deeds about monks in cloth bags are recorded in "Biography of Song Monks", "Records of Famous Scholars in Two Zhejiang Provinces" and "Fenghua County Records": He came to Fengting Changting wenn he was eight. He often enters the market with a bag on the back, and when He sees foods left, he begs. He puts all his begged things in his bag. That's why he is always called the Budda with the bag. Legends about him is that his speech is uncertain, and he is sleeping and lying everywhere, like a madman.
