Hot summer nights, killer sunsets, and sick cars = a near perfect night. This GORGEOUS 1956 Chevy is one of my favourite 567 chevys in the province.
Made a video that will be live on YouTube tomorrow about shooting cars and using the nifty fifty. This was one of my favourite shots from the night. Tip #1 was to get low and find the cars body lines. In this case, my camera is at about the height of the hood ornament and headlights. Really helps make the front end appear more bold and pronounced. Get even lower if you have a wicked backround and want the car to be viewed bigger and more powerful.
1/3200, f/1.8, iso 200, 50mm. Shooting at a car show with a longer lens can be tricky with so many people around, so just be patient, and be ready to snag the shot when no one's around.
Rx7 All primed up 😎
Feel like I am getting somewhere now!! 😁
I have posted a video of the tear down on YouTube - the link is in my bio.
I am slowly getting better at editing and my camera work as I progress with the build.
I lost some of the footage as I had problems with a faulty memory card 😮
What do you think of the progress?!? @bignoisemotors
1952 Mercedes-Benz 220 Cabriolet A "Rose Garden" by Hiro Yamagata
An extraordinary art car on a fully restored 220 Cabriolet A
Hiro Yamagata can rightfully be called the foremost modern restorer of Mercedes-Benz 220 Cabriolet As. Since the early 1990s, Yamagata has worked on some three dozen of these cars, sourced from around the globe. He then creates his masterpieces with his bright and beautiful paintings.
As much as I am happy with the progress being made to the 66, I have no emotional attachment to it. However, Sally (My 65 that I wrecked 12 years ago) I am VERY attached to. She's been seriously neglected... Pushed off in the corner, filled with spare parts and junk.... It made me sad. So today, I cleaned her out and did a little mock up. For the first time, IN TWELVE YEARS, I got to see what she looks like as a car again. I think it's time to forget about the 66 and get back to reviving my car. #1965mustang#65mustang#fordmustang#mustang#classicmustang#vintagemustang#classiccar#restomod#projectcar#mustangsally
