Concordate? Lo avete letto IL PAPÀ DIO?
Sometimes deciding to donate a conservation easement can feel like jumping off a cliff (in a good way)! #30UOLfunfacts // WHY WOULD A LANDOWNER DONATE A CONSERVATION EASEMENT?
Most if not all of our lands donated by landowners were done because of the owner’s love of the land. Lands that have been in the family for generations, lands that mean more to families than money.
When donated to a qualified public charity like Utah Open Lands, conservation easements constitute a charitable donation and consequently have favorable tax consequences for the landowner making the gift. These tax benefits range from income tax deductions to estate tax benefits.
In some instances, the benefits are so great that the value of donating a conservation easement can match the value of developing the property. However, typically the reason for donating a conservation easement is the landowning family’s love of the land, not the associated tax advantages. #Throwback to #Summerof19
We landed in the picturesque town of Vernazza, wedged between the cliffs and the sea , on a sunny afternoon. Wanting to feed our rumbling stomachs , we hopped from one restaurant to another only to be told that the minimum waiting time was an hour. (Yes , that is Italy for you in summer). We decided to wait and were rewarded with a yummy lunch of pasta drowned in fresh pesto sauce alla Genovese straight from the hillside terraces and pizza margherita topped with an entire tree of olives. .
The five colourful fishing villages of Riomaggerio , Manarola , Corniglia , Vernazza and Monteresso are so unique that the entire zone of Cinque Terre has been named as a UNESCO world heritage site , a protected Marine area and a national park.
We kept riding the train back and forth from one end of the Italian Riveria to another ,
Trekked from one village to another on the narrow cliffside trails while admiring the terraced hillsides cultivated with olive trees , vineyards and orchards on one side and the bright blue sea on the other side ,
Meandered through the colourful streets , .....
But when night fell, we felt like we still hadn't had enough and had to drag our feet away , promising ourselves that we would come back. .
My mom: pls stay away from cliff edges.. 🌊 Nachdem ich das Bild meiner Mama geschickt hab, dachte sie, dass es Fake ist 😂 und ich da nicht wirklich gesessen habe. Sorry mom! 😬 #sydney#bondi#cliff 📸 @aily.smile

Panga cliff is the highest bedrock outcrop in western Estonia and its islands. Siluri bluff is a long escarpment, which starts on the island of Gotland in Sweden, passes through the Baltic Sea, and rises to the surface on the western coast of Saare County. Its maximum height is 21.3 metres and it runs for about 2.5 km. Panga cliff is situated right on the coast, cropping up like a 'wall', and its highest point used to be an ancient ritual site where people were sacrificed to the sea.
Visitors of the nature reserve can admire a breath-taking sunset, have a picnic, observe birds, take beautiful nature photos, and have fun on the village swing. 📸 @veineleissa#travel#cliff#europe#nature#wilderness#baltics#nordics#coast#balticsea#wanderlust
