Today we are honoring friendships. ⠀
Albert Schweitzer once said, “In everyone’s life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit.”⠀
Alice Walker claimed, “No person is your friend who demands your silence, or denies your right to grow.”⠀
Tag the human that has rekindled your inner spirit; that friend who never denies your right to grow.
The weekend is coming fast! Don’t forget to come tour your future home. Saturday we are opening the Hudson Woods show house to the public from 12-3. The house is the final home available at Hudson Woods and it could be yours! Get the uhaul ready.
Desires - we all have them. Some desires are relatively healthy - nothing wrong having them. It is when our desires becomes the end all be all, that leads us into trouble. I remember hearing Lysa Terkeurst say that we steer where we stare. That we get so fixated on how God is moving in someone else’s life that it can become our obsession. From a healthy desire to coveting what someone else has. I think about the story of Achan in the book of Joshua. He came across beautiful items, he coveted and then HE took. Due to his disobedience Achan and his family were punished because of his sin. .
His story is like our own. We stare into someone’s life and wonder why we don’t have what she has. We can sneakily find ways to get what she has, through manipulation and so forth. Where we disregard someone else to get what what want - even to the point of a big issue like infidelity. The crazy thing is that it starts in our minds. We see, we covet, we take.
There is hope though. Confess your sins to trusted people in your life. Confess to God. There is nothing wrong with having desires, but if God isn’t our number one, we will try to obtain those desires in an illegitimate way.
It’s Small Business Week!

The last of my grandfather’s dahlias are fading and the last of our leaves on our trees are falling. That can only mean ONE thing: 62 days until 𝓬𝓱𝓻𝓲𝓼𝓽𝓶𝓪𝓼 🎄 .
As much as I feel basic AF loving all things pumpkin and Autumn, I love Christmas EVEN MORE! I even told my husband that I may or may not start putting up decorations this week. Is there even such a thing as two early?!

I know, this looks super finished, but I've been working hard on just this shawl - the San Fior Shawl - almost exclusively this week! . .
I'm normally an avid note taker when making a pattern - forcing myself to slow down, to write out every row in detail. But this one, I deviated from my normal routine. It is just one of those patterns that, once you start, you just can't put it down! Each row added another layer of beauty - slowing down was NOT an option. . .
Oddly, I only have one other wip right now. Shocking, right? Don't worry, I'll start an alarming number of projects as soon as I get through this! 😅😉 . .

Make videos they said. A new one every day they said. Do it while you're waiting in line for the bus, cooking dinner, in the bathroom. Videos all day every day, they said.
If we're spending all our time creating videos, are we actually still living? I hate when I see people on their stories, live videos, etc. ALL the time. Maybe it's none of my business but I want more for their lives. And for YOURS.
You need videos to run an online business these days (unless you're the exception to the rule and are running just fine without them - go you!) BUT you don't have to spend all your time behind that iPhone screen cuz that sh*t s*cks. #truth
Instead, I want you to become the queen of repurposing 👑 When you create video content, think about how you can use it multiple times. When you go to create new videos think about what you already have. Can you use 1 or 2 lines from one video and past it together with another video? Can you take a long video and edit it down to be under a minute? If you take just a bit of time, you'll find that you can get so much leverage from just 1 video.
In case you're not sure exactly what I mean, here are 7 ways you can repurpose videos you already have to create FB & IG ads...
🎥 Teach people how to work online and travel the world? Repurpose your travel vlogs into a 15 second Story ad for your webinar opt-in. Overlay it with some text inviting people to sign up for your opt-in.
🎥 Have a long VSL style video on your online course sales page? Edit it down to be under 1 minute and use it to retarget anyone who signed up for your freebie but didn't purchase your course.
🎥 If your students or past clients have created video testimonials for your sales page, mix them together as a compilation of testimonials covering the most important objectives your customers have when deciding to purchase. Use this as a retargeting ad as well.
🎥 Do you create educational videos for Youtube? Use them to warm your audience up before asking them to share their email with you.

Take a minute to think about your future. What do you want it to look like? What do you want out of life? Is what you’re doing now going to get you to that place?
These are the things I partner with people on DAILY! Casting the vision of what you want in your own life, and mapping out the plan on how to get there; more importantly how I can help people get to that end goal.
If you’re dreaming of more; more time freedom to be with family or to travel, more financial freedom to buy and do the things you want, more happiness...let me help you find it and let’s get there TOGETHER! My inbox is always open to the curious minds and dreamers ✨ #kenziereagan#lightupyourlife
More #megaspun beanies on repeat! They’re in our shop and ready to ship (we call them Winter Waves)! We'd like to welcome you to our facebook group, VV Cultivates.
Each month, we release a new practice, sharing to encourage each other in purposeful, beautiful, intentional, community living.
You may forget these little tricks for a few weeks, or you may be on fire for every single practice. However you find yourself, this is a no-guilt space - these practices are meant to continue our engagement with ourselves and one another. Click the link in our bio to join the conversation.
3 REASONS WE’VE BEEN SUCCESSFUL
1. Show up every day. That’s CONSISTENCY. It will change your life!
2. Focus on Building. What’s next? What else can you create that’s new and innovative?
If you’re a coach, that’s cool. But what else can you build? An app? An event? A vlog? Your own show?
You have to think BIGGER and BETTER and build something new!
3. Find Your Purpose. Whatever it is you can’t stop thinking about. There’s a reason you can’t stop thinking about it. It’s your purpose. You’re MEANT for it.
Now, it takes A LOT of strength to follow your purpose.
It takes a lot of determination. .
And it takes a lot of action.
But, it’s totally worth it.
Found this beautiful quote this morning and wanted to pass it to you:
“Be brave enough to live the life of your dreams according to your vision and purpose instead of the expectations and opinions of others. Believe in your heart that you're meant to live a life full of passion, purpose, magic and miracles.”- Roy Bennett
So good, right?! 🙌
I have to admit, one of my favorite series of moments on any wedding day always happens during the wedding ceremony. I love capturing my brides as they walk down the aisle toward their grooms; I love seeing the faces of your family members filled with so much pride and emotion; I love listening as you recite your vows to each other; I love watching you share your first kiss together; and I love watching you walk back down the aisle together as husband and wife. The details you so carefully choose are important, but I’m always so excited when my couples cannot wait to celebrate their new MARRIAGE! 🥰

It’s been almost a week since the latest @knowtribe Edmonton ladies event but I’m still feeling so energized from being in the same room with these most incredible women. I’ve had new collaborations AND friendships come from this awesome opportunity and I feel like I’m just starting to scratch the surface here. It really does feel like I’ve gained 100+ new sisters that have my back and together we can do ANYTHING! I’m feeling intensely grateful today and even more driven than usual to go out and slay the day. Love you all, my Know Sisters - and I cannot wait for the next group of incredible women to join our tribe.

I've been reading lots lately about how social media is bad for our health. There's no denying social media addiction can be incredibly harmful, like any addiction. Social media as a highly filtered barometer for 'normal' is never good news either. As a mum of a teenager and a younger child, I do limit social media use for my kids. Not because I see a lot of 'bad' content, but because I think the real world has to be experienced first before you can filter out what's realistic and achievable and what's just not real! I hope I'm teaching them that a good life is not a perfect social feed!
BUT that said, I do think social media can do MASSES of good!
Where else can you keep up with family hundreds and thousands of miles away with a simple photo or share?
Where else can you share how you're really feeling without having to say the words?
Where else can you find people all across the world who you connect with, people who think like you, people who relate to you, share your feelings? Don't we all just love to see someone sharing the 'real' them, perfectly imperfect and 100% human.
Living on an island, it never ceases to amaze me that I can work with people all over the world and help them connect with the right people for them.
Social media lets us do this, mostly for FREE!
Let's appreciate the good that social media can do, be a little kinder than necessary in our online world and appreciate all the good that social media brings us! It's brought me soooo many awesome friends, connections, groups, business insight, like minded people and community.💛👏
Another large piece completed and installed in its forever home 💪🏼☺️

I DON’T HAVE ALL MY $H*T TOGETHER.
There, I said it. Friend, I’d be doing you a huge disservice (and I have been) if I acted like I had my crap together all the time. People seem to think that because I have awesome workflows and systems and teach people how to do the same that I am somehow a magical fairy that never feels overwhelmed.
Can I just tell you that between August 1 and October 1 I had about 11 panic attacks? We’re talking full blown crying, hyperventilating laying on the floor like the world was ending meltdowns. I looked at my schedule and couldn’t believe how busy it got. I left ZERO margin in my schedule. Like… to the point I wasn’t even sure when I’d shower. Every minute was scheduled down to the second in my days with back to back meetings and sessions and travel, and on top of that, Scott and I were closing on our house, planning our wedding shower, getting a kitten, and my family had 3 medical emergencies. Scott hugged me tight on the couch one night in the middle of a meltdown and pleaded to get down to the bottom of what was causing all this anxiety. “I just want you to feel happy again.”
And do you know what I did during this time? I hid. I hid because as the person who teaches people how to avoid overwhelm and burnout, I was feeling exactly that, and I felt like I wasn’t allowed to feel that way.
But you know what my good friend told me? “There are no rules that say you cannot lead and struggle at the same time.”
And with that I say, that overwhelm, burnout and stress plague all of us, no matter how organized and streamlined we are. But what I want to leave you with, is that you should never feel like this all the time. That there should only be seasons of these feelings, and that your business shouldn’t weigh you down constantly - there’s a better way of doing business and it’s NOT just praying for off season to come faster. But with that, winter is coming, you’ve got this friend.
Drop a line with how you’re feeling!

I am so thrilled to introduce you to our newest WordPress Theme, Splendor. It’s been about 7 months since the release of our last best selling theme, Beloved, and you’re probably well aware, there have been a lot of changes in WordPress over that time period. I wanted to wait for the dust to settle a bit and for everyone to get used to using Gutenberg before releasing a theme that fully embraced all that Gutenberg and Genesis 3.0+ has to offer, and I’m so thrilled to finally be able to do that today!
Splendor is the first theme we have ever released that doesn’t have a widgetized home page, but has a Gutenberg block based home page! What this means is you can entirely design the home page of your website exactly how you want it! You are no longer limited to just the available home page widget spaces and the widgets that can fit inside of them.
Haven’t started using Gutenberg yet? I absolutely encourage you to do that and there is no better time to do that than now!
To learn more about Splendor, see the link in our profile!

I’m back! Kind of.
After so many years living in a country with relatively clearer skies and larger stretches of greenery, I realize that I’ve taken for granted many of nature’s beauty.
I will no longer complain about a cloudy day because the sunset reflecting off the clouds are so worth the lack of a clear blue sky.
I will also no longer complain about a bad day because I know something beautiful will follow, even if it takes a little while of tolerance and persistence.
Are you a rainy day kind of person or a clear sunny day person?
Find me at @colormehappii for more daily dashes of color, positivity and inspiration!
We are releasing a candle a week for each enneagram number! And they smell AMAZING!
When looking at type two’s characteristics - I knew I wanted something warm and sweet because two’s typically love welcoming others into their space to care for them. But I also wanted to pair it with something relaxing for the two - since they seem to be often stretched and need reminders to take care of themselves. So @rafanatural took these ideas and made them into this beautiful, organic, candle.
The type two has tones of nutmeg and ginger, with a base of a warm floral vanilla. And on top of all those magnificent smells is a blue lavender - that really comes to life when you light it up!
So so so excited about this one - and it’s available online and in the shop! 💛☀️ Link in my bio!

Sometimes I forget that just because you’re following me on Instagram doesn’t mean that you know my entire LIFE STORY…or even who I am whatsoever! Maybe you clicked on one of my photos ages ago, and now you’re like “new phone who dis?” Well my friend, here are a few fun facts about me. Let’s get reacquainted!… 1️⃣ I do not have cute girly sneezes. Full stop. When I sneeze, it sounds like a gorilla mating call.
2️⃣ For the past 4 years, I’ve helped almost 15,000 entrepreneurs in my online programs on things like growing their audience, creating online courses, and healing from burnout and approval-seeking. I think of myself as a “teacher coach.” Meaning, I LOVE teaching tactical, step-by-step trainings...but I also LOVE coaching people to help them discover the patterns that are keeping them from being their highest and most authentic self.
3️⃣ I’m an Enneagram 7 (with a strong 2 & 3) and totally resonate with their adventurous, optimistic, and freedom-chasing nature.
4️⃣ I’m normally sweet and friendly, but if I feel like you’re saying something judgmental or offensive, I will happily be “that girl” who will let you know that I’m not here for it. 🙅♀️ Belonging and inclusion are some of my main values.
5️⃣ I have seven pets — 2 chinchillas, 2 Russian tortoises, 1 blue-tongue skink, 1 ball python, and 1 dog! All are rescues (except my pup), and I dream of starting a full-on animal sanctuary one day. 😍
6️⃣ I recently took a 6 MONTH sabbatical from my business. It was truly one of the most enlightening (and difficult) experiences of my life. My sabbatical ended in March, and nowadays I feel like my life is more authentic and exuberant than ever before. Taking the time to really look at my decisions and business with an intentional eye has helped me to reshape my entire life in the BEST way possible.
7️⃣ Yesterday my boyfriend was handing me something that looked like chocolate covered almonds. Pass. But then I realized they were olives. 😍 I’m not that into sweets, but I can eat savory food aaaaaall day!
Okay, now it’s your turn! Leave a fun fact about you in the comments below. Let’s get to know each other! 😊🙌🏼✨

We do it for them.
We show up, dig deep, change habits, heal ourselves and evolve - because when we do, they do.
If I am committed to raising exceptional women (and men) - I must commit to being an exceptional woman myself.
My growth is theirs and so... I commit.

Growth guaranteed. Will I see you there? 📷 @riaalvarezimbuido
✨ Assume Less, Love More ✨
This phrase is the heartbeat behind everything I do on this page. The exhaustion that comes from assumption and comparison, the sleepless nights, the restless thoughts, the catty debates, the harsh judgement...it’s debilitating, friends. It’s pointless. & social media can be the main thing that fuels us to act in this way.
But we have a choice. I feel called to be even the smallest light in this space. If I could influence you to do one thing, it would be to love more. Love more in the Name of Jesus. Say “I love you” to people, face-to-face. To put down the screen and show up for others in love. To put down the screen and show up for yourself in love. Loving is humbling, mighty, refining, difficult, and growing. It’s worth it. & I personally think to love and to love is the reason why we’re here.
So here is the steady phrase with a new look that will be becoming available in my shop within the next few weeks! ✨ Can’t wait to show you what I’ve been working on!
