It’s sure a pretty Pcv catch can/dry sump breather tank, but does it work? Here’s a re-cap on the #BallisticBeige breather setup after the break-in mileage. Swipe through to see real world results as it captures blow-by oil and filters the gasses on their way to an atmospheric vent. These LT4’s are notorious for lubricating the inside of the blower with that filth from the factory. As a double bonus There’s an inside look at the “black box” if you swipe far enough. Yes, this simple age-old design is not proprietary knowledge, I’ll show you how it works; it’s not rocket science. You can even take this design further into the realm of air-oil separators if you opt to keep it stationary (this one removes at the push of one button and 3 @xrpracing hydraflow clamshells for easy maintenance) to do this you can port the drain back into the return side of the dry-sump pan or tank (height dependent) and route the heater hoses through the oil collection area to keep it flowing smooth with some heat. That’s some food for thought for your Tuesday. Disclaimer, I’m not an engineer... Hard knocks fabrication led me here not fluid dynamics 🤣 but the results speak for themselves. #kuhnhausenmetalconcepts#xrpracing#knfilters#catchcan#racecar#corvette#lt4#fabrication
Mechanical sorting is moving along well on the Corvette
New ring and pinion are in, brakes installed, suspension is being addressed, new engine going in next. What do you want to see on this project??

Featured Car! 1963 Blue SWC with Factory AC - Duntov Mark of Excellence Awarded Frame Off Restoration.
What Mike likes about this car:
"This particular 1963 Corvette, with factory air conditioning, is stunning and correctly restored to the highest level! I knew the previous owner very well who restored it.
Achieving the Duntov Award is proof enough to the testament of his dedication to the hobby.
The car has a great history and factory paperwork proving its rare options. He was a true Corvette collector and amassed an amazing collection of every year from 1953-1967!! I have to say though the 1963 Daytona blue split window has to be the great American icon!" Just over 59,000 miles. Priced at: $199,900

«is this your red corvette?
or maybe it's dream at all? yes so.
only it's not as close as you think
not everything is so real, and maybe even illegal
like how the heart is so red
like your red corvette,
my wildest dream.»
