The snowfall is finally tapering down. It very much feels like we’re living in a snow globe today! If you’ve checked out my story, that was my husband on the snow plow. Talk about an act of futility! What you didn’t see was the fact that he had to wear ski goggles to protect him from all the blowing snow! On the positive side, the kids are all home safe and sound, not usual for a Saturday night!
Coastal French with a touch of Hamptons, but in New Zealand! I love the relaxed feel that authentic painted antiques bring to my beach house. The soft patina that comes with years of use, and love. 💙⚓️
What a lovely little taste of spring we’ve had today! 💖 It was lovely to see some blue skies after a week of stormy weather and I thoroughly enjoyed getting some fresh air with Dom and the dog earlier. Girls night out with my bestie this evening which I am really looking forward to after this week, which has felt like such a month! 😂 #spring#ranunculus#sunshineatlast

“I’m not who social media likes and comments say I am. I’m not who the grades, to-do lists, messes, and mess ups say I am. I’m not who the scale says I am or the sum total of what my flaws say I am...I am loved. I am held. I am Yours. I am forever Yours.” - @lysaterkeurst , Uninvited

L'attesa viene spesso premiata, come aspettare di aprire il cofanetto in legno e cominciare a vestirsi per festeggiare ☺️ Lavoriamo sempre con attenzione, ascoltando e consigliando i nostri clienti, per trovare la soluzione migliore.

This is a smidge mortifying so I’ll say it fast... I broke this chair. I wanted to take a close up pic of a HUGE spider nestling in the cladding. So, I Nat Woods knowingly stood on this antique chair that I spent TWO years building from the frame. And I broke it 🙈. •
I now have 2 options (3 if you count laying off carbs):
1. Keep it (because I made it and it took ages) despite it being useless and hope I gather the soul to mend it one day which = starting all over again or:
2. Throw it out/give it to someone else as a project.
I’m leaning towards 2...
