These little rascals escaped from there field yesterday, which you may of seen on my stories, they were quite far away from there field, and I am guessing that Storm Dennis may have had something to do with it and knocked down their fence. 🌪 .
I let the farmer know, so in the meantime I went over to check on them, and they were eating everything in our garden, however the would not leave my side and kept following me all the way back to the house! 🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑 .
I now think I’ve become some sort of Sheep Whisperer! 🐑 Is this my new calling?! 🤪
I mean I thought about it and I actually have some valid reasons to back this up.. .
1. My name is Rachel which means sheep! 🐑
2. I was born in the year of the sheep! 🎊
3. I played a sheep in my school Nativity Play!🐑
4. I am Capricorn which is the star sign of a goat..practically sheep family right?! ♑️ .
5. I had a Wallace and Gromit - “Shaun the Sheep” teddy when I was little, and it was my favourite! 🐑
I mean need I say anymore! 🤪
All the sheep are safely back in there field now, properly wondering where I’ve gone...or maybe just eating grass. 🌾🐑

So many of you loved our first few tips to make driving a little more eco-friendly, for those times that public transport just isn't an option. We have some more tips today on how you can take care of your car!
It is so important to take care of your car as you can prolong its life, so you won't have to buy a new car earlier than you really have to. By making sure the car is well maintained you can also reduce the energy usage as it won't have to work as hard.
- Ensure you regularly and properly service your car to make sure everything is running how it was designed to. This prolongs the life of your car and keeps the engine running efficiently.
- Change the oil when your car needs it and make sure it is the correct oil. Most cars will tell you on the dashboard or you can look in the handbook. Using the correct oil in your car is very important as there are components of the engine that require a specific oil to operate correctly. These components contribute to the efficiency and cleanliness of the engine.
- Regularly check tyre pressure and condition. Under inflated tyres means the car has to work harder and therefore uses more fuel. Don't be tempted to over-inflate as this has safety implications.
- Check consumer labels on tyres for fuel usage, noise and wet weather grip information. They are very easy to understand (similar to what you see on white goods) and can help you buy tyres that are more fuel efficient.
- Regularly check fluid levels such as oil and coolant as these contribute to keeping the engine operating at optimum conditions and prolong the life of your car.
Looking after your car is not only better for the environment, but makes your car a safer and nicer place to be! Safe driving everyone!

Becoming a mother over 20 years ago was the trigger for me to start to learn the value of understanding who I really was and to commit to getting to know myself better.
Here I am all these years later still doing just that. Still (and always) a work in progress, because I choose to be.
20 years ago I had no comprehension of the importance self-care holds in allowing myself to understand more of who I was and why I had become that person.
I'm not talking spa days here, nice as they are! No, what I mean by self-care is finding space, time and kindness for oneself, in what ever way feels and works best for you.
Those 3 things (space, time & kindness) provide me with the 'environment' from which I can then make best use of all those lovely rituals & activities that now live in my personal self-care tool kit, to be called upon as and when I need them, and from which I have adopted a meaningful way of life based on my core values.
Finding a way to build in this space, time and kindness quite literally makes me a happier, far less anxious person, with a clear sense of purpose and a strong belief in what I am able to offer this world, and how to get there.
We are of course all different and, quite rightly, understanding ourselves better comes to us each in a myriad of ways. We all find our own best route to self-exploration and discovery in our own time and in our own manner, but only if we start through the genuine desire to do so and then by giving ourselves permission to actually get on with it!
For me, it just happened that becoming a mother provided me with the best possible prompt to do just that, even though I didn't quite realise how mammoth and extraordinary the journey would be at the time.
Without a flicker of doubt, it’s why I chose to support other women who are mothers in finding clarity & building self belief.
To find out more about how I can support that journey, tap on the link in my Bio to join my mailing list, or send me a DM. I would love to help.
In the meantime, tell me... How do you find space, time & kindness for yourself in this busy old world of ours?

Here's proof that beautiful can be amazingly tough. These Lenten Roses (Hellebores x Hybridus) have been flowering since late January. They have weathered Storm Ciara and Storm Dennis and all sorts of frosts and nastiness in between. But while my Snowdrops are almost over and my crocuses have taken a battering, my Hellebores look like this. Extraordinary! I've said this before, but having enough different colours to make a grid like this, makes me enormously happy. I find it almost impossible to pick a favourite, but it's a close one between the central pink with it's speckles and its sweet, little ruff and the zingy red-spotted yellow one centre-left. Okay, your turn to pick a favourite...oh, and most of these are from @ashwoodnurseries. They have the most incredible collection, but you have to move fast, otherwise they sell out. #ccseasonal#countrygarden#thehatchwilts#hellebores
Anyone else feeling low after hearing Caroline Flack’s news over the weekend? I have this enormous feeling of sadness even though she wasn’t someone I followed on social media. What a world we live in..... that people think they can push us to the limit and see how much we can take? It’s hard to see anything positive in this. Not everyone is equipped with thick skin so please BE KIND.....it’s doesn’t take much to be kind - just a smile, or holding the door open for someone ..... something as simple as that! .
Our property of the week is Lady’s Well Shepherd’s Hut 🌿
Get away to the gorgeous Somerset countryside for a rural retreat in this fabulous shepherd’s hut. With a hot tub, it’s very own pretty little lake, plus a viewing point across to Wales and plenty to discover nearby, Lady’s Well is a wonderful choice for a weekend adventure.
Good morning. After windy night we have warm morning. Today the temperature will reach 11 Celsjus degrees. I’m really worried about the plants. They are starting to wake up and we have still one month of calendar winter in front of us. The frost can attack at any moment which will have tragic consequences for budding plants.
