Quick reminder for all of us grinding, hustling! Working hard towards ultimate happiness & success!
It’s easy to get distracted, discouraged, & sometimes even give up ! but as long as you keep going, as long as you don’t allow your circumstances to keep you stagnant- everything is possible.
We all see the “Overnight” success of others but nobody sees the long sleepless nights, the will power, commitment, & more importantly the DECISION they made to change their lives. It’s hard work! It’s about failing forward!! Success definitely doesn’t happen overnight! It’s long hours, months, & years! .
This is ME 1000%
Since my accident, well mindset has gotten me through ! I wake up every single day choosing to see the sunshine in this storm I’ve been living in and I also choose to be sunshine for myself and for my family ☀️
Everything is a choice in life, literally everything.... I choose to rise above my pain and suffering and stay super strong and remain ME... my whole life I have been known for my heart and I will never let anything take that away from me .... Challenging doesn’t begin to describe it, but there is no way I’m letting this pain take me .... I will forever be soft and strong because that is what makes me proud to be me 💖

Happy Full moon in Taurus babes 🌝 ✨ With respect to all the planets aligned in the cosmos this moon has me, and maybe you, dialing in on our dreams & visions. 💭 ⠀
Since this full moon completes a cycle since the May new moon in Taurus ♉️, its a great time to reflect on what has or has not been accomplished since then. ⠀
Either we are experiencing our dreams come into fruition⠀
Or we are being pushed to self reflect and come to terms with the reasons why our dreams haven’t come as far as we hoped. ⠀
For me it’s a mix of both. ⠀
I have definitly accomplished A LOT since then that deserves to be celebrated. 🥳⠀
I have also definitely expireinced A LOT of set backs, blockages & cycles that have held me back from realizing my full potential. ⠀
I lost my focus at times ⠀
Got stuck in bad behaviors ⠀
Started letting life just slip by me ⠀
But just the past few days I feel an air of relief, because this whole time as I ws going through the motions I didn’t realize what u was doing and how I was getting in my own way until now. ⠀
So today on this beautiful full moon in Taurus I spent a lot of time going inward, identifying what I needed to change & remembering how freaking powerful I am in order to get what I want in this life. Re-focused, un-stuck & fired up. 🔥🤸♂️💕⠀
So here is my reminder to you, if you have a dream and you haven’t found in coming into fruition yet, go inward, trust the process, and be real with yourself. ⠀
If you feel your at rock bottom and need to start over again, then do it. The Phoenix 🔥🕊 rises from the ashes. ⠀
You are so freaking powerful and can actualize ANYTHING you put your mind to. You got this babe, keep faith & don’t be afraid to do something different 💋
Just here to say that I’m officially moving to Florida with these two cuties now that I’ve had my first two days of cold Ohio snow 🤣🤣🌴🌴
Jk Jk. But really, I love looking through Kristyn and Josh’s pics from their wedding in June. SUCH a good day. Such a beautiful and amazing couple. It was the start to my busy season and I remember every detail involved; I truly had so much fun with them and their friends and family
And MAYBE just maybe, we might have to coordinate a little meet up Florida date in the next few months? Hehe 🤷🏼♀️

We are absolutely over the moon excited to finally be able to share with you the incredible 'IGNITE WITHIN RETREAT' that @thecharmaineholan and Yoga Guru Renee @sunshyneren have been curating and developing over the past few months.
Been a bit quiet these last couple days but felt the need to share some night time chats with you 💕
Life has been busy. And stressful. And confusing. But I think it’s SO important to take time for gratitude in moments like these, so we are able to keep going and keep pushing for our goals.
When it seems easier to just curl up in your bed and let these moments pass by.. we are really missing the beauty of what’s still there for us. So even when things feel hard, you owe it to yourself to remember all that you have that you’re still grateful for.
So tonight before you go to bed, or if you’re scrolling through and see this tomorrow morning. Stop and say 3 things you’re grateful for. Say them out loud so it gives your brain more opportunities to really wire them in there! Then sit with them for 60 seconds, and allow yourself to feel the joy and calmness that goes with it 😌
My turn first:
1 - I am grateful for amazing friends who let me share anything with them, with absolutely no judgement
2 - thankful for the book I’m reading that has given me so much knowledge and new insights
3 - and maybe most importantly - grateful for the delicious grilled cheese I just ate with absolutely no regrets 😋
I loved the feedback and thoughts that were shared with me after last week’s post and podcast episode on “narrative foresight.” I was especially happy that I already had another episode planned to go more in depth about HOW we can practice narrative foresight to make major shifts in our lives & careers.
It’s all ready for you on this week’s episode of the Career Foresight podcast!
In this episode, I’m teaching about how to change two specific types of stories that tend to hold people back. “Disowned futures” and “used futures” stories are the most common types of thought patterns that hinder people’s ability to practice narrative foresight.
I called the episode, “How to prepare for the future world of work” because so much of being successful in life & work is about keeping ourselves accountable to the stories we live by, intentions we set, decisions we make and actions we take. 👌
I’d love to hear how you intentionally frame the story of your career!
Find the episode by searching “Career Foresight” on your favorite podcast platform!

Skills, strategy, and action are all important in achieving your goals in life. But if you don’t actually believe that you can accomplish it, then reality check—YOU WON’T.
Because if YOU don’t believe in yourself, how do you ever expect someone else to give you the promotion, buy your service, or join your team?
Everyone has to find this belief in one way or another. Mine is rooted in my faith. I have certain Bible verses + positive quotes on repeat that remind me: not only CAN I do this, but I was made for this. And 👏🏼so 👏🏼are 👏🏼you.
You are uniquely qualified to contribute something significant in a way that no one else on this planet can! But if you don’t believe that, no one else will either.
Confidence in yourself doesn’t happen overnight. It takes daily reflection, meditation/prayer, and repetition. So start today and 30 days from now, just watch how you present yourself to the world.
What mantra have you been leaning on lately?👇🏼 #swipeleft to see mine.
Creative people generally have deep desires related to their career or a creative project, however, they often feel stuck and unable to advance when it comes to the action they need to take.
Procrastination, self-doubt and overwhelm seep into their consciousness and they become paralyzed, unable to move forward.
Career coaching which is specifically tailored to your artistic or creative practice, will enable you to move beyond the struggles, the roadblocks and the mental torment.
If you are an artist, performer or business innovator who has an idea (or several), a creative project or a business to launch, but is uncertain about how to begin, coaching can help you.
A common theme I find with my clients is that they are working in ‘day jobs’ which do not resonate with their passions, and as a result, they feel creatively unfulfilled.
Sometimes, a person simply yearns for a change or outgrows what they have been doing for years, such as a teacher by trade who wishes to start painting professionally.
It is a common assumption that artistic pursuits cannot be reliably monetized.
It's time for you overcome this limiting belief, and identify what steps you need to take if you dream of earning a living from doing what you love.
Let's do this together!!
My jam lately has been a hot green tea with ginseng and Yerba mate and then to top it off I add two drops of my lemon essential oil🌿 SO STINKIN GOOD! Especially since it’s finally starting to get cold out. Get rid of sore throats before they even start💁🏻♀️ #sorethroatremedy#dreambiglivetiny

If you feel like your personal and professional growth has been one step forward and two steps back (or if that growth has felt virtually non-existent)...
… you’re not alone.
Before launching the company I have today, I spent many years as a slave to my work. I was gripped by stress, and I thought “working harder” was the only way to be successful. Yet no matter how hard I worked, it felt like I was getting nowhere.
I endured emotional abuse from my employer, suffered rejection from my friends and family for wanting to escape the 9 - 5, and worst of all, I felt a deep and utter loneliness. I made excuses that “I was too busy, I never have time” when really, I just felt misunderstood… and ‘busyness’ was my way of distracting myself from the pain.
Can you relate?
Had the cancer diagnosis at 25 years old not come along and set me on a different path, I’m terrified to think of where I’d be today.
And if I’ve learned anything, it’s this: doing more DOES NOT equal faster success.
Doing more clogs your calendar, sucks your time and energy, keeps you stuck, and forces you to play small.
I think we’d both agree that “busy” is not the legacy you or I want to leave.
So let’s rewrite the story. What legacy DO you want to leave? Tell me below!
Between amazing speakers and snacks and swag bags do you know what the number one thing we heard people loved most about The Confident Creative’s Workshop? The community.
The freedom to be in a room full of other dreamers, doers, and entrepreneurs. The ones who totally get when you’re wanting to throw in the towel because keeping a steady client base can be challenging at times or trying to learn which area to tackle first when it comes to how to build your business.
We heard you loud and clear that next year you want to have even more opportunities to connect during the event and @savingthedateevents + I are already dreaming up how we can make that happen.
We believe so strongly in you and the dreams you’re going after. If you’re struggling, reach out. If you’re thriving, reach out. At this point, if you’re choosing to suffer or celebrate alone, that’s a choice not you’re only option. This community loves you and is cheering you on in so many different ways!
Today I thought I’d share a bit about my creative roots with regard to jewelry making 💎
This first pic is one of my current pieces - but it’s been a long winding path 😉
Pic 2: From the 70’s. I loved to wear all these as a kid. My grandpa either made or collected the turquoise pieces and the locket holds a pic of me and my baby brother. I loved having a connection with him even when he wasn’t with me! And stones and silver were already making an appearance.
Pic 3: Yep! It’s the 80’s 😝 Bigger was better. These were ‘minimalist’ at the time, trust me. But you can see, there’s still metal and a stone-like texture. ...
Pic 4: The 90’s. I didn’t wear as much jewelry for a while because I had four little kids and jewelry became hazardous to my health 😳 But spirals are beginning to make an appearance - and still the metal. ...
Pic 5: Local bead stores were booming! I couldn’t resist adding to my stash, even if I didn’t really know how to make jewelry yet. The piece on the left I used as a lanyard at work - and left the wire bare for the name tag 🙄 and the right side was my first attempt at wrapping beads for a chain. Wrong gauge wire and pre-internet = a hot mess 😜
Pic 6: Not long after, this was my first try at creating a piece with meaning. I had read a self-help book (no idea now which one), but there were a series of questions and actions to take when feeling overwhelmed. The bracelet was designed as a reminder - almost like a rosary or mala. Each charm had significance and encouraged me to choose the best course of action at the time. ...
Pic 7: This final pic is from a couple months ago. Each of the gemstones stands as a reminder for me - stay grounded, allow love, release the past - and the dragonfly charm reminds me that all this work is deeply transformational. ...
So even though these pieces don’t appear to have much in common on the surface, there is a recognizable thread running through - natural stone, swirly metal, and the power found in deep connection to ourselves and others. ...

I didn’t intend to take an Instagram hiatus, but it happened! Because:
I’ve been in the thick of it lately. Life and work feels a little overwhelming, but I keep coming back to why the long days matter: this work supports women owned businesses, and it’s a privilege to spend my days doing just that.
So before I put my head back down and get to work, tell me about your “why.” I always love how much they vary from person to person!
I went from offering a $30 course to a $400 course to $3,800 for 1:1 coaching.
All within 1 year👊🏼💥
And let me tell you, this is SO much more than just money.
Sure money is great, it’s an exchange of energy and provides us with many options but..
The ONLY reason I have been able to book clients at that price point is, one word...
Full on belief in:
💎The value I offer.
💎The results my clients receive.
There is NO way I would be able to stay firm in my prices or my program if I FIRST, didn’t have clarity on my vision and what was possible for me - and SECOND if I didn’t believe in myself or what I provide.
So let me ask you... .
👉🏼Do you have clarity on your vision, and do you have a plan or strategy to getting there?
👉🏼Do you actually know what is possible for you and your life?
👉🏼Do you know your worth and BELIEVE wholeheartedly in yourself, the value you bring and what you provide?
Stop wasting your time operating in this mindset of scarcity and lack🙅🏻♀️
There is plenty of possibilities, opportunities, money, love, happiness and everything else out there for ALL of us.
The choice is yours, are you ready to start believing in you? Let’s talk!
Because once you do... the possibilities are endless✨
Happy Monday friends💖

5 years ago, I’d been having a pretty rough year - Nate and I were doing 6 months long distance while he surfed in Australia, I’d spent a substantial time in hospital with illness and to top it off I damaged the nerves in my left hand, leaving it paralysed for six weeks. It was only April. While I was studying a Fine Art degree, I had been doing everything but painting - the academic weight of performance and perfection for a good time removed the joy and play out of creating for me. During my recovery time I whipped open the watercolour paint set my grandmother had left to me after she passed and took some time to just paint and illustrate for fun.
The energy that came from doing something just for me, just to create was so uplifting - my mood and outlook changed within days. I eventually thought what if I started a little side business just illustrating black and white portraits… I kid you not that they were R50,00. I wasn’t trying to make a living at that stage, I was trying to stay inspired and each persons input and purchase lit my flame to believing it could be more and well, here we are 5 years later.
Truthfully that’s one hell of an abbreviated version so I’m not saying everyone who discovers their creativity should turn it into a business (or that portraits should be sold for R50,00) - that was my journey and influenced by a multitude of other factors. What I AM SAYING is creativity starts with play, it starts with taking the pressure off of perfection and giving yourself the opportunity to express and create freely with no demand on the end result being perfect. It starts with you and a moment of being kind to yourself, of giving yourself the freedom to not by held back by comparison or the voice that says you’re not good enough. It’s a moment of saying ‘yes’ to you and filling your soul with the inspiration and joy that we all need to carry us through the tough days (even when they turn into weeks or months). .
I chose to celebrate my creativity and it changed the course of my life and my career - take a moment to think what magic could take place if you chose to celebrate yours ✨
