About last weekend... The first photo shows you four incredible, joyful women who have lit up their heart, mind and soul through movement, connection and shared experiences at the @qoya.love initiation training led by @katetaylorcreativeliving
One of those women is me. And yes I am calling myself incredible, because you know what? I finally, truly realise I am.
There’s something incredibly magical about sharing soulful experiences and seeing yourself through the eyes of likeminded souls. I’ve always seen the light in others, but I can struggle to fully see it in myself.
I feel that’s true for us all. We rarely realise how uniquely special we are. Not in a precious snowflake kind of way - but in a raw, real, risen up strong through our challenges kind of way.
We are women. And we go through a lot. We have no idea how strong we are, because we’re just doing what we have to do to make it through and thrive.
It’s only in sharing our stories that we see our soul strength and beauty reflected back at us. And as a result, we start to see ourselves and others differently.
It’s a kind of magic that’s almost indefinable. A kind of magic that lights up my heart. The magic woven and created in our hearts through words and shared truths.
It’s why I write, why I podcast, why I speak. It’s why I hold safe spaces, why I mentor, why I guide.
And now it’s why I am bringing Qoya into my life and yours. It’s where the whispers and the breadcrumbs have led me.
Qoya lights me up enough to shine the light of love on a period of life that has been more painful than any I’ve known. I know it will shine a light on you and your life too.
I can’t wait to see where this new soul-led dance leads us.
Will you join me in the dance by celebrating your incredible life and your magical self below with a HELL YES
from your soul? 💖

I started reading ‘Art Matters’ by @neilhimself, a book I recently received as a very thoughtful birthday present from my friends @kanikasharma_dua and @vipul_dua. And here this was, on the opening page, stating a truth a lot of my fellow creatives know so well. And yet tend to forget as we get sucked into that alluring, seductive world of creating for money.
We forget to enjoy the creative process. Take pleasure in the journey my fellow creatives. You’ve just made something that didn’t exist in this world before. Wallow in the light of that for a moment. It’s worth it!
Every morning I would walk past his giant mural in the foyer of school ..
Whilst struggling in Europe at a tender age he was Polite enough to offer some words of encouragement to put my head down and keep going -
He’s book was like a bible growing up, also playing at the the same junior club
This is the reason why Tekkers football was started because this city produces great footballers and although getting knocked back can be life shattering to get back up and fulfill dreams after that there is nothing better #daretodream @lfc_lad_@liverpoolfc@firstname.lastname@example.org_of_merseyside@forever.reds@tekkersfootballau
I love social media. I love that it’s brought some Pretty amazing people into my life and in my businesses that i wouldn’t have met otherwise. I met people on here over 10 years ago that i talk to every single day, have even met in person and can’t imagine life without. I love to encourage/be encouraged to try something to new, learn some thing new, get healthy, etc etc. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
With that being said, I find that lately there’s such a trend of tearing others down on social media - and It’s easy to do behind a screen. I’m willing to bet the majority of people would actually NEVER say what they post in real life to someone’s face. It’s so easy to be brave on a keyboard. You simply type something out, post it, and go about your life. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What you don’t see is the other person seeing what you said about them. You don’t see their tears and their heart drop to their stomach. You don’t see them worrying if everyone else feels this way about them. Next time you’re about to comment something mean or post some thing cruel about someone’s else, consider how much your words can affect someone. Please don’t forget there’s a REAL live person behind the account. They have a life and they have feelings that can be hurt just like yours. If you have nothing nice to say, simply move on and say nothing. You have NO idea what someone is battling behind closed doors, and Your comment just might be the comment that sends them over the edge. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Make it a point to be the LIGHT in someone’s day every day. If you wouldn’t say it to someone’s face, just don’t say it. And again, If you have nothing nice to say, keep scrolling ✌🏻

This big ass smile goes to all the people in this amazing sport who taught me that family isn’t always only about blood and being yourself is just fine.
I often get asked about how I managed starting a business with no business partners @taylorcare_recruitment & would I do it again knowing what I know now?
It’s interesting question and I one big thing I say to people is you have to be so passionate and determined with your small business that your willing to work for free even in the hard months where you have more outgoings $$ than you can afford and don’t have enough to pay yourself. “Yes I’ve had months like this in the early years of starting out” reality is non of us are bullet proof in business so if you are passionate and willing to put in the hard work & still love 💓 it then go for it! #businessowner#bossbabe#smallbusinessowner#entrepreneur#lifelessons#daretodream#passionoverpaycheck#oprahs2020visiontour#oprah
For me it was another weekend of easy training but managed to run outdoors but the storm was bad. This week my zones on the bike change and a new gym program. Training the last month has go very well. Seeing big improvements on the bike, swimming is getting quicker with less swimming and so is running. I am going to keep working hard. Today is a swim followed by a bike session. .
