As you begin planning your wedding, make a list of the top five things that are most important to you and your SO. Is it the venue? The photography? The invites? Prioritize those things in terms of budget and the time you put into research! @laposteperry
Throwback to Brooke and Adam's special day and the most beautiful December weather I've ever seen! 🙌

Yesterday with Taylor and Cody. We made winter “chill out” and give us a little fall weather yesterday 😏 Obsessed with these color tones.

Choosing to find the beauty amongst the mess and construction is quite difficult. Many times it feels like we are sitting at a standstill and not able to move forward. Despite the actual constructing of the building there is a whole lot of waiting that happens behind the scenes. But we can’t rush the good things. We must enjoy each part of the process. -So we are trying to do. I’m thankful for this photographic memory and @earlramey’s drawing skills to keep us busy with dreaming. Without these two very things, we wouldn’t have seen the magic of this place. Even without the house and without the conservatory there so much beauty to enjoy. More often than not it forces us to put down the hammer, put down our phones, turn off the TV and really soak it all in. The best part? There is always treasure to be found out here, a path to be walked, and a hand to hold.

I can’t believe it’ll be almost 3 months this Connie and Kevin tied the knot! It feels like only
yesterday I was photographing the most gorgeous wedding details
Connie had meticulously curated for her big day. I mean, could her Dress/Hair/Makeup be any more gorgeous?!
It might sound odd, but to make sure you’re wedding day goes perfectly, plan for some things to go wrong or to take longer than expected! It’s important to build in some extra time in your schedule so you don’t fall too far behind. When we took these barn photos at @thepreludexii it was HOTTTTT, I’m talking 90+, so inside this barn it was a lot warmer! By planning we were able to do these shots at the end of the day to make sure we wouldn’t spend too much time in there and got all the shots we needed :)
Raise your hand if you logged into #disneyplus yesterday! 🙋♀️
I'm actually not in the same boat, because I would definitely accomplish nothing. BUT..it still had me dreaming, so here's a sweet shot from basically a real life princess, @juliannaa_k ! Her December wedding last year was a dreeeam 🥰
IN EMOJIS ONLY! How did your SO propose to you? Mine? 🚗 💍

I love little hair details. Those finishing touches, the vail, the hair sprayyyy! I love it all. It’s in those tiny touches that are filled with the most love. Whether it’s a mother, stepmother, mother in law or a maid of honor, those are my favorite moments ♥️
It’s no secret that florals are one of my favorite things to photograph on
wedding days, ESPECIALLY when they are this pretty!

Loving this delicate lace design on Kylika's dress! Being able to
photograph beautiful wedding gowns on the regular is one of the things
I love the most about my job!

“You know that feeling when you have had a long day and you just need to relax. After driving home from work, you pull into your driveway and get out of the car. You open the door to the perfect temperature, a candle burning next to cherished family photos and the scent of tonight’s meal cooking on the stove. You let out a sign of relief. Welcome Home.”

I walk by the most beautiful magnolia tree every 🍂 single 🍂 day 🍂. As leaves continue to fall, I’m always appreciative these deep green ✖️ rust leaves keep moving along. @indie.floral folding 'em directly into our wedding details was such a natural fit - inspo all. year. long. ✨🍂
Simple ✔️ Elegant ✔️ Classic ✔️ The perfect combination for a wedding gown that simply takes your breath away. It can take brides MONTHS to find the perfect 👗! Doesn't Melanie look absolutely stunning in hers?
I wanted to say THANK YOU to all you wonderful humans that have trusted me this year in documenting your memories. It's been another successful year and I want to make sure you know it's because of YOU. So thank you for helping my dreams come true, and I'm so stoked to finish up all these fall sessions and weddings here in the next few weeks.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Tomorrow I'll be soaking up new content at the @showit#unitedconference from the leaders I've looked up to from the beginning, down in Arizona, and hoping this helps bring even bigger success in 2020! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The perfect bouquet for a timelessly chic bride! I absolutely adore ivory & greenery in floral arrangements. As the weather is getting colder I’m so excited to see what our winter brides will be carrying! <3

Congratulation to the new Mr. & Mrs. West! Molly and Nick endured some crazy weather but were total troopers so we could utilize their beautiful venue! I am so happy for this sweet bride & her new husband on their adventure as newlyweds <3
We’ve got our first watermelon!! The garden is in it’s prime and I’m preparing some beds for a fall harvest - which will also be a first for me. It’s our last Monday off before we are back to the full swing of work things. I’m going to enjoy every little moment possible. I may or may not plant as many things as I can. Maybe a greenhouse run is in order too 💁🏼♀️ P.S. peep that conservatory in the background. I had a dream it was filled with vines that took over the ceiling ✨ Concrete will be poured today!
Red Spike Amaranthus. I had zero ideas of what this plant looked like when I planted it. But now it’s huge and taking over my flower garden. I’m not disappointed one bit. I do have a hard time cutting my own flowers to bring in - I just love the way they look in the garden. Maybe I should be thankful for the giant storm this morning that knocked these over because now they look absolutely wonderful in my giant white clay vase. Brides: y’all need to use these more!
