Love how each of the openings on the Westerly (I think) side of the castle frames a stunning sea view. I mean, it was built for a sea view, as well as a good view over the land too but for very different reasons than admiring the prettiness in 1283!

The Devil’s Kitchen at Llyn Idwal is the name given to the dark crack which splits the rock between Y Garn and Glyder Fawr. Steam is often seen rising from the crack resembling a chimney. It’s said when you can see the steam rising, the Devil is cooking.
So I’ve seen storm Dennis has really done some damage and ripped up some trails good and proper! Still some mad ‘eds getting out there and riding the storm though! Good for you! 😄🤘🏼
Had my fracture clinic appointment today, looks like I’ll be looking at more or less a month out! 😞
I suppose silver lining out of that though is hopefully the warmer and dryer weather should have set in by then... 🤣🤞🏼 So on that note... here’s an old pic from my ride at Afan a few weeks back!
Stay safe out there guys! 😁🤙🏼
Views that leave you speechless and force you to be still and present. We drove past some incredible houses around here. Can you imagine having a view like this every morning?! I really can, with a cup of tea and a few dogs ... and I think I will one day 💚 #citygirlinthecountry#snowdonia#cymru#discovercymru
Definitely one of my favourite parts of Anglesey #PorthEilian#Llaneilian#Amlwch LL68 9LT.
The coastal path around this area which includes Trwyn Eilian #PointLynas around the corner is just gorgeous. It’s a shingle beach, dog friendly but great for water sports etc, always makes me think of a Mediterranean Cove when you first see it glistening in the sunlight as you walk down the road.. there’s also free parking and a public toilet close by. This pic was taken at high tide.
